I Played Golf With Takomo IRONS ONLY!?

how low would you score if you played golf only with irons that's what I'm going to find out in today's video because I've got a new set of irons that I'm testing and it's a great way to test iron four through pitching wipes from Tacomo I'm gonna add that to the bag with my existing wedges from TaylorMade go play nine holes see how many greens I can hit and see just how low I can or can't score when I take the woods out of the bag all right [Music] [Music] come on so my focus today isn't necessarily score it's more like a greens and regulation objective because I'm going to be hitting shots and irons that I never hit into these greens I'm gonna hit a lot of mid to Long irons today hope to hit maybe six screens in regulation we'll consider that agree when I was in college my college coach would make our team practice maybe once a month playing around with no Woods he was just of the belief that it helped us kind of gain some creativity working our balls striking work on just our strategy a lot of good things and I I couldn't agree more so that's worked around like today nine holes irons only it's it's gonna be good for me because it's gonna get me hitting different shots hitting different clubs but it's also really really beneficial for testing out and a new set of irons because if you just put a new set of irons in the bag and play your course over and over you might not hit a lot of these new irons so why not play Iron only and uh and really get to working in those those mid to Long irons [Music] green hit that's how you do it [Laughter] green hit and this game obviously can become a really good short game practice test because it aren't hitting the greens irons only if you're you're long to Mid irons are a little off well then you're going to be having to Chip and plot the eyes out of it to shoot a score so I recommend doing this every once in a while just kind of tighten up your game and uh we'll go back we won't consider the first hole of the tenth hole on green head we missed the green we're gonna go real statistics here so we're two for three this time of year in Florida greens are punched kind of mid to late June so these things are just healing so that's why we're really not concerned about this scoring on them because they're slow they're bumpy yeah it's about hitting green [Music] that's fine I hear you uh missed the green with the club you're not testing I'm not testing or putting the Tacoma wedges in the bag I've done a video about it they're great wedges I just I just can't I just can't look at that leading edges it's a little too rounded for me so I'm keeping my wedges in the bag but the Tacoma for the pitching wedge are going in the bag that was my lob wedge a little wet ground and uh you know skimmed it right off the top so green mist or two for four [Music] [Music] starting to really like this four iron you can expect a full review video about this Tacoma irons coming kind of after after today's video because I'm getting a better feel for them the findings are pretty pretty cool especially on the launch monitor what I how I found out about them in my testing Pretty stinking good so I'm excited to piece together that video and yeah if you've noticed the channels kind of changed a little bit maybe for the summer or fall just kind of getting into Club gear you know and I want to review it talk about it it could be very close and if nothing else this game like today for me is giving me a ton of confidence in my ball striking and in my golf swing it's easy to kind of get maybe sloppy or lazy and just kind of doing your thing playing practicing and just kind of maybe taking good or bad golf for granted and just like the work whereas today I'm slowing it down a bit and uh yeah I feel I'm gaining confidence on a fun little challenge video for Youtube with new irons because I'm just having to kind of execute and uh yeah so this thing is this game is just good for so many reasons all right four for six on the green count let's keep going keep it going keep it going having to take this like the safest lines over and over and over again and just focus on making a good swing it's a different way to play the game [Music] a little bit of water between the uh the club and the ball there that thing went on this screen for seven there's still a chance at six there's still a chance at six but hey I'm missing them straight a little short a little long foreign [Music] [Music] that was a fun one because I actually hit that ship with the pitching wedge you know I like to use all my wedges around the greens and that was one where you wanted to get some run on it so first little chip I hit with this thing and it uh I proved it was it was nice feeling it's a nice feeling I could have released a little bit more but that was probably just me not understand how slow the greens are it's a long haul [Music] oh [Music] these things go a little further than I'm used to [Music] okay we've hit five greens got one green left we gotta hit it we gotta hit it foreign [Music] there is like a mini game inside this game can I have an eight iron into this hole because I've hit every iron so I tried to mash that floor iron to give myself an eight iron I don't think I will but uh so I did basically hit every single one of these Tacoma irons pitching wedge they're four iron not the eight iron not bad testing to get that many of them to construct in night holes got a little too aggressive there five Greens in regulation hands got a little lack of there there's a small Target for the 212. five Greens in red one Fringe all in all though verdict is positive for these irons I really like the plight of them I like what I can do with them so yeah two thumbs up [Music] oh [Music] we'll see
