welcome back to the channel her name's Andrew it's great to see you I hope you're enjoying your social distancing right now I know I am it's given me a lot of time to spend on the Golf Course not much else to do making a lot of videos but using a lot of that extra time now to be working on my game and practicing because I want to start competing again I want to start playing again I had said to myself a couple weeks ago I was going to start preparing and ramp myself up to get ready for a tournament scheduled starting in May that might change obviously with things being canceled and postponed I don't know what the future will hold for a schedule but I know I can keep working this time is actually giving me more time to work on my golf game and more time to film but also kind of separate my time separate golf separate youtube so it's been I've been very very fortunate and I'm not taking that for granted have been having some fun with videos doing a lot of challenges matches and all that but today's video I just want to get out play the front 9 on my golf course no nonsense no fluff just pure straight up golf check in without my plane right we can call this video the state of Mikey [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] for the dogs is because Chris DeRose going back paedon pinpointed to go so I wanted to go from it just let it all in but [Music] I got my eyes load with the sky with my eyes closed [Music] in 2009 that is real they don't really I do [Music] [Applause] [Music] nine holes in the books and I must say I did play quite well the things that I have been working on I did really good at I've been working hard on my wedge boy if you watch the video where I played with no woods I was kind of frustrated with myself and I let it be known in there that like my web plate just hasn't been good because I haven't been practicing it and for me I get my confidence when I know I've been putting in work and I have been practicing my wedge play paying attention to that and it showed itself really well today good wedge on to good wedge on for both of those were converted for birdies hit a really good wedge from 40 yards on on six just got a bad bounce to make par on that par 5 I mean that was a good chip right there those are my three birdies all from good wedges the wind was a little tricky today usually it's the other way around usually the first four holes are into the wind or first five holes will be into the wind but they were down today and I took advantage of that played those two under than the last four we're into the wind usually they're down and that's two of the par fives play well I played on good on those as well and a lot of it was because of good drag and I hit really good drives on those holes into the wind the first few holes downwind I was kind of just coming up and out of it and making that just healing them but I was getting away with it and I just kind of stuck to my guns waited for it waited in transition and I smashed some drives on both par fives and on eight so that felt really really good statistically it was a very good round strokes gained putting 3.2 short shots 2.7 approach shots negative 2 so I'd I didn't hit the approach shots very good and that would be the shot on one both par threes and then let's say eight those 7 irons those 5-iron and that wedge those weren't very good so that's where I lost those strokes driving gained half a stroke yeah really good drives in the last 4 holes really poor drives in the first three so I guess that's kind of where it where it's at classic stats 57 fairways hit 78 greens regulation that's really good and then 2013 putts that's obviously really good the state of my game is pretty solid right now I'm really happy with it but I'm definitely resting on my laurels I still have a lot of work to do and obviously there's gonna be a long time until tournament golf ramps up if it ever does this year but I just got to keep working on what I'm doing right now hone in keep playing and even videos like this this has been really good for that because I just played I hope you enjoyed the cool camera angles I got out there because I was waiting so I could just do do stuff with the drone and get some good camera angles hope you enjoyed that edit let me know what your games at right now and what you're doing to pass the time during this social distancing quarantine lockdown stuff see you next video [Music]
