Tell me, don't be silent, that you love me.
I would hope so.
She got slightly longer to sing this time, I noticed.
Three minutes.
That's because someone probably got kicked off the first week.
So they get a little bit longer.
Yeah, they get a bit longer to sing because somebody went.
So, the song, in Russian this time, is called Speak, Don't Be Silent.
Well, it's not.
It translates to Speak, Don't Be Silent or Say, Don't Keep Silence.
Depends on who your translator is.
And it's a cover of a song by a Russian girl group called Cerebro.
Cerebro.
Something along those lines.
From 2008.
The song is a popular track, known for its emotional depth and its music video, encouraging openness in a relationship despite fears.
I've been hitting the AI again.
They're pretty.
And if I want to butcher some Russian, it's Skazi Nemolchi.
That's the actual title of the song.
It sounded good to me, but maybe not to you guys.
Yeah.
Please, poke fun at my Russian.
It's not very good.
They're probably sitting there screaming and screaming.
It probably isn't.
Probably not.
Like the French get so upset about the way we say croissant.
It's not croissant.
Croissant.
It's croissant.
Please.
Anyway.
Tortilla, not tortella.
There you go.
Anyway.
No, it's burrito, not tortilla.
Anyway.
It's Taco Bell.
Anyway.
I was trying to think what the little dog used to say.
Oh, yeah.
Taco Bell.
Yeah.
Taco Bell, yeah.
It's something like that.
Anyway.
Anyway, now that we're rambling on about nothing.
Sidetracked.
Before we get going, make sure you hit that like and subscribe.

There's also a story behind the costume, too.
The Irvine costume here.
Apparently, it couldn't be called a fox because there was a one-off fox costume character.
This is something I read on the internet.
So, pinch of salt.
It was like there was a one-off fox character at some point.
And it was like famous artists or whatever.
And it was written in the contract.
They couldn't have any other fox-named characters.
So, instead of it being...
Because it's...
Let's be honest.
It's a Japanese fox character is what it is.
I wouldn't even have got that from that.
The mask, that is.
It's a traditional Japanese-style fox mask.
But it's called Irvine because of that.
Supposedly.
Feel free to correct me.
It's just a story I read on the internet.
Oh.
It makes sense.
Everything on the internet is correct.
Don't you know?
So, yes.
You're right.
It makes sense in my head.
Because it's kind of like, yeah, why wouldn't you just...
Anyway.
Yes, I didn't even think about it as a fox.
I guess I didn't even think about it as...
Anyway.
Right.
Let's listen to her.
I shall.
Okay.
Oh, my God.
This was never a Donald Duck kid.
Of course it's a cat.
Oh.
I guess I just never gave it any thought.
I know it's cool.
Anyway.
Yeah.
And really, when you start thinking about it being a more Japanese-inspired costume,
either box or kitsune, tail, box,
kind of like the imagery that they sort of play with the stage production, shall we say.
The riff on a traditional fan dance kind of thing from Asian cultures,
it all sort of starts blending into the character well.
Ah, YouTube pause.
Again!
Yeah, it's, I said it last week, it's amazing how well she can disguise her voice.
Yeah.
Because you get so used to her singing in her normal voice tone,
and then, yeah, it's like when she leaves that behind
and goes into any kind of higher register, really,
she becomes less noticeable, not noticeable.
Well, yeah, it's like, because if I didn't know it was her, I wouldn't.
Yeah.
It's, yeah, you don't...
Like, she still has such a great singing voice, and it's like...
Yeah, she can, she disguises, well, she's not really disguising her voice,
she's not singing how she normally does to the point that, yeah,
it's impressive that out of her normal range and singing in a different style,
she's still an incredibly good singer, I guess is the point I'm getting at.
Yeah.
Yeah, she's...
I don't know, ever since you've been introduced to her, I mean, she just...
Yeah, her performances, dude, all of them, it's like,
it doesn't matter if she's being ambushed, and it's like,
oh, since you're here as a guest, here's a microphone, what am I doing with this?
Oh, you're going to sing a duet.
What?
Yeah, you're going to sing a duet with her.
Huh?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
I guess that just shows you how much talent she has.
But yeah, not only that, as I said, it's also a case of, yeah,
she's disguising her voice, singing abnormally for her, shall we say,
but she still manages to get that depth of emotion through as she's singing.
And then also, especially in this competition,
it's amazing how emotive the character is,
given the fact that basically it's a mask, it doesn't move.
Yeah.
It's amazing how much emotion she manages to get out of that character
with it being a static costume.
Right.
There is no facial expression that moves and everything.
It's just a fixed mask.
Yeah.
She is so talented.
I mean, it's like the same thing every time we watch her.
It's like, yeah, just run out of things to say.
Run out of magic tricks.
How great she is.
So, yeah.
We're obviously going to continue reacting to her,
so if you want to see any of those, make sure you hit that like and subscribe.
And plug time.
Our two channels that we had, our nostalgia channels,
have been combined to one, so we're trying to regrow it.
And those other two are off to the wayside just due to YouTube
not liking us for some reason.
So if you are subscribed to any one of those two other channels we had,
make sure you go check out the new one.
It should be linked in the description down below.
Nobody named it.
Oh.
Replay in the past, which is about 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s nostalgia stuff.
End of plug.
