Pro Am Vlog #1: J&T Classic

this is a proam benefiting the Boys and Girls Club down here in Belleville really cool [Music] [Applause] [Music] initiative what's up guys happy Monday to you I've been on the road this morning I'm down here in Belleville today I'm playing a 1-day proam but a 2 and a hour 20 minute drive so it was worth it to sleep in my own bed and just ZIP down here today play the proam and zip back home to Ottawa this is a proam benefiting the Boys and Girls Club down here in Belleville really cool initiative playing for a little bit of money so hopefully we can come out ahead when the the day is done weather doesn't look so great great but I think it may pass Us by we're going to have some fun out here today and I'm going to be able to bring the camera out film a little bit of uh the action with my group I think it's going to be a pretty fun [Music] day [Music] [Music] so this is the man behind this PR got say we're pumped I'm pumped to have Andrew here pump to have a great field ra funs for Big Brothers Big Sisters and as long as the weather I think we'll be okay see you in a bit okay guys filming on the phone on the golf course off to a pretty good start bogey birdie par Eagle I really hope that eagle holds up for a skin my team we're having a good time so far and hopefully I can show you a little bit more action there are the guys there maybe you can see them four holes in 200 under par pretty good start all right guys time for another update we've been playing in some on andof rain and thunder and it's been pretty bad and I've not been so great I've made three Bogies in the last five holes so now I'm one overpar through nine four Bogies one birdie one Eagle really need to step it up a little bit for these last nine okay guys birdie update finally ped a birdie to get back to even par so I'm even power with four holes to play our team we're having a lot of fun but we're not uh scoring terribly well but hey we're having a blast what this is all about the sun has come out so let's finish strong [Music] well guys that's it for the day we're all done you can hear from this rain in the car we got some rain but it was right as we finished our round so we stayed dry it's just going to be a wet ride home 2 and 1/2 hours back to Ottawa my day I made a late bogey so it's got one overpar finished outside the money um the one Eagle I made that I was hoping to hold on to get a skin for it got sought off so no money but prams like this aren't necessarily about making money if you do that's a bonus today is about having fun having some laughs meeting new people I had a great group today we had a lot of fun and I don't take myself terribly seriously when I play these tournaments because I'm not good at this half Focus half social I need to be Allin and you don't want to be Allin and just kind of annoying when you're playing these prams you want to be social you want to have fun you want to give back to these people that you know paid to play with us so my group was fun we didn't play very well either but a lot of fun was had a lot of laughs were had I enjoyed this very much raised some money today for charity and I think next year they're going to grow from this this was their inaugural one and I think they're going to do really well next year it's going to be bigger but that's it headed on the road back to Ottawa drove through a storm the whole way it was fun but that's it this day is done I'm going to edit this now because I've taken on the audacious task of a daily Vlog shoot it edit it upload it all in one day it's going to be up by like 11:00 tonight so maybe I'll upload it in the morning uh thanks so much for following along I hope you enjoyed this I had a lot of fun today getting you some updates throughout the round I hope uh this was something that you guys enjoyed as well if you liked the little mid round Vlog OnCourse Vlog let me know down below and if you really like it smash that Thumbs Up Button cuz then I'll know when I get these events in the future Pro AMS I'll uh I'll do this again and I can show my group show you guys the fun we're having and give you little updates on on the play it's too bad today's round didn't uh didn't wind up as many underpar as we hoped it would but we had a lot of fun that's it thank you so much again this episode's over we see you later
