Can Vans Keep Up With My 2023 Colorado ZR2 in Moab

[Music] well and just like that we are here at Moab tell by the Red Rock behind me we just finished airing down the truck and the two Vans and uh we're going to go do some trail riding before we get to Camp [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right so we've got the Vans up we're obviously going to take a little bit of a different line um and we have stacked some rocks just cuz we don't need to get them in any of a uh Tippy situation cuz they are 10 11,000 lbs and they're also like 12et tall so [Applause] all right and now we have Milton uh so we're going to take that same line kind of open wide and then do a sharp cut so we're not getting them at a super awkward angle right there woo okay you're up yes sir I will eat my words obviously for this specific obstacle we're going to take the Vans up a completely different line little bit more of a gradual incline and just like that all three of us are up so since we didn't record at the beginning I will show you what Mandy decided he wanted to climb so it's this big rock shelf so you kind of have your first incline and then you have a second one so my concern was he was going to take his front bumper off and then dig his rear once he got up on that second Hill but as yall saw he made me eat my words and uh he got over that with [Music] ease Doug right now is putting it in low range just like that yes sir yep oh who who slow you're good just slow on the throttle you're good you might need a live can you give it a little bump aren you get start you well so far the vents have been doing fantastic on the trail you have to remember these are big high center of gravity trails that uh you know uh weigh a lot and uh don't have the best articulation on them so they've been doing fantastic uh Doug it's his first time really ever off-roading that van ever uh as much as he's been doing today so this is all new to him he's been great doing great listening to my spotting and listening to kind of my tips but he's still a little on the nervous side so once we get to the top of Gemini Bridges uh me and Milton are going to kind of mess with him and tell him that uh we have to come back the same exact way we came in so we'll see how that goes what a great way to scare somebody away from off-roading boys will be boys we of course had to make a pit stop to view the Gemini of bridges I was like I can do that so what you think coming in watch's that coming in to the trail oh my butt pucker was it it won't be that back few times it won't be that we're fine we're fine I I felt fine driving I just was worried about the rig is what I worried oh you ready to come back out no you tell me we're going out that way no we it's a one in and one out no now come on don't do that to me I was talking about the the hiking Trail oh the hi yeah the TR the driving Trail no no the hiking trail the driving Trail is in and out no now stop it am it is here take her picture take picture take her take her picture I'm just messing with you you're out of the picture now I'm just over here well after a amazing day of riding we have arrived at our camp for tonight up against the Moab Red Rock with a kind of 180 degree view of Moab it's not a bad spot there are obviously we are limit limited to spots that we have in Moab just cuz they need to be van friendly and a lot of spots that we do have in Moab aren't necessarily van friendly so but nonetheless good spot we're going to sit down chill out make dinner probably sit by the fire and uh enjoy cuz uh Doug is leaving tomorrow morning so this is kind of our last night with him [Music] here we go oh team effort on dinner tonight do little ways to go a little bit yep I another one I only got one so what you all think of today Gemini Bridges and vans badass I love it good job good job love it you had your first time fun first time off-roading lost my virginity in my don't that spfi in his van [Music] your dad right we just finished pulling off the black top behind us and uh airing down and we're about to hit about 30 m Off Road in that direction so it should be a fun time uh going to see more stuff what the how capable the van is and uh have some fun [Music] [Music] oh so far the trail has been absolutely breathtaking nothing technical by any means but definitely quite the change in scenery we pit stopped right here off this little pull off here you can see kind of Trail coming up this way and continuing that way but we decided to pull off so that way we can make some lunch making some burgers got the 270 open there for some shade and uh we got some nice views from for [Music] lunch all right so after lunch we continued on the trail for a bit but we came across this section here uh that's a pretty steep incline and Milton doesn't feel comfortable doing it in his van and I rather him be comfortable doing an obstacle than not comfortable so we are going to end up turning around the same way we came in down Onion Creek which is not a problem the video is not going to make the angle look as steep as it actually is I would say it's probably a 15 to 20° descend and he's uh he's pushing 10,000 lb so it is a lot of weight to go downhill we ended up backing down the hill until it was safe for us to turn around and head out the same way we came in if you like the video make sure to leave a like And subscribe for more awesome
