I hope this video will be helpful to those that are being affected by full moon or whenever you feel down. There are the 6 different ways that I do to help me through those ebbs.
Hello everyone from the Ocean Playground of Canada. Wherever you go, you're gonna be close
to the ocean. And I'm very close to the beach right now. The view is quite nice. Let me show you.
Michael right here, chilling by the way. Even you don't see him on the screen, he's always around.
It's a very nice park. Super sunny today even though it was cloudy in the morning.
And because I'm so close to the water, there's a lot of breeze coming through. So it's not too
hot inside my van even though it's 26 degrees outside. But it feels really nice inside.
Today, I want to share with you an insight how to deal with negative emotions. I recorded this
video like couple days ago. But I wasn't able to post it because I was in area with no reception.
Sometimes I love to go to places like that because it's just so
relaxing and nourishing to be honest. Not to be not to be online all the time.
But today is full moon. So I determined to have the video posted within today.
So hopefully that it can help someone who's being affected by the moon energy today.
Because the moon energy can have a strong impact on your emotion. I know that it did affect me
very strongly last month. So if you are feeling down today, if you're not into your body today,
hopefully this video can help you with that. And I recently received a message from someone on
Instagram that's going through a pretty tough time. So this video may help that person to figure out
how to deal with their negative emotion in their life and any struggle in their life as well.
Having said that, I don't mean to encourage everyone to dump their negative emotion into
my DM or my email. I would rather that you ask me specific questions so I know how I can help.
I do feel empathy for whatever that people are going through. But it doesn't mean that I would
allow any negativity into my zone. So let's get into the video for today.
So how do we overcome negative emotion? Everyone has to go through one of those days that we are
not happy. And recently I posted on Instagram about a full moon that was hitting me very hard.
And at that time I felt so horrible about myself. It triggered me to remember some of my fears and
it made me feel like I'm such a failure. Like nothing I do is right and everything is wrong
with my life. Suddenly I fell into that victim mentality. It's yucky, it's heavy, and it's tricky.
So of course I'm not happy all the time. We are human. We're supposed to have all different
range of emotions. There's sunny days, there are also stormy days, rainy, cloudy days.
We're part of nature and that is normal to have the ups and downs, the ebbs and flows of life.
However, because we are a conscious being, we have the power to control ourselves
so that we don't get trapped into those emotions. So having the awareness is the number one key
to deal with negative emotion whenever it comes up. It's okay to be in the low but also knowing
you're gonna get back up and stand up and keep walking because maybe the next day you're gonna
be all happy again. The sun is gonna come out and everything is still gonna be okay. Secondly,
in my book, I talk a lot about overcoming struggles and even including some journal prompts,
questions to ask you so that you can reflect. So if you have read my book, I would recommend
you to reread it because when you read it just the first time, you may not assimilate all the
ideas on the insides that I input in the book. You may have missed some details or something
doesn't really ring to you. But if you read it again, you may catch something that you
may not have catched before. So it's always a good idea to reread the book, either my book or
some of your favorite personal growth book that may help you. It would be a very good resource.
If you just read a book for entertaining and just put it back on the shelf and you don't do
anything about it, it's like paying for the gym and not going to the gym to do the work.
So nothing really changed. I wrote my book with the purpose of helping other people
to know themselves, to reflect on who they are, to have more awareness about life.
It's not just for entertaining. I didn't write my book for entertaining. So if you don't use
everything or just read it and put it on the shelf, or you just don't do the journal as I
suggested, you may not completely use the book for all of its potential. It doesn't matter
how many books we read, or how many courses we go through, or how much knowledge you actually learn.
But if you don't apply those knowledge, nothing is going to change. Nothing is going to make your
life better. The only thing that makes your life better is when you actually take the action
to do it. You have to apply the knowledge in order for everything to manifest, to make the
change in your life. So if you have my book, please read it again. Hopefully something in here will
scream at you and help you to deal with the tough time in your life. Because there are several
chapters in here, I talk a lot about dealing with struggle, judgment, grief, everything.
Number three, crying. Do not underestimate the power of your tears. Last full moon,
I think I cried for maybe up to two hours. Sometimes on those bad days, I just sit and cry.
I just let my emotion come up, and let all the tears come out. I just feel that lowest point
in my life. Okay, I felt like a failure. I'm just gonna sit feeling like a failure,
and just cry it all out. Just feel like, oh, I'm not good enough. I'm not capable.
And I just feel all of that, even though it was very low. But because I sat with it,
I acknowledge that feeling, that emotion. And that's how it purges everything out of me
into tears. And tears help to desolidify. I don't know if that's a word. But it helps to melt
everything that is calcified or solidified in your emotional body. After several days,
if not just say sometimes just the next day, I feel so much better after I cry everything out.
I don't let those yucky emotions suck in my body. It's so relieving in order to cry.
You have to honor all the good emotion as much as on the bad emotion as much as on the good
emotion. Because by acknowledging it, and honor it, you give it compassion.
You give that love for yourself, not to be so hard on yourself. We don't have to be
perfect all the time. And it's okay to be imperfect. Like in that moment, I just wanted to
be weak. I didn't want to be strong. I wanted to be taking care of myself. So I just sobbed.
So just have that private time or private place for yourself to be able to do that.
To be okay being weak in that moment. Just like if I fall on the floor, I just lay on the floor
and I just cry. It's okay to fall and then get back up the next day. So have that compassion
for yourself and that love for yourself. And just honor that part of you that need that attention,
need that care. Because it feels scary. It feels weak. It feels like not enough. So just cry.
And it's okay to be in victim mentality in that place, in that space, that time,
only. Not with other people. Not at any other time. If you want to feel bad about yourself,
have that private space for yourself to feel bad. And just so that you can push all of that emotion
and let it all out. It is so, so healing, so relieving. And I do that all the time.
Whenever I feel bad, I go into either meditation or listening to music, instrumental music,
not lyrics music, some healing music. It really helps me to get in touch with that emotion.
And so after that, it's not just relieving, but it's also, sometimes I also feel empowering.
Like several days after, I feel lighter. I feel like now I'm ready to
go and do stuff and get inspired again to create more things. Because I let that part of me go.
Number four, journal. This is also very critical, especially after you just like sit with yourself
and be in that victim mentality and feel bad about who you are. And just allow yourself to feel bad
about that. Then in the journal is a place, there are two different parts of the journal.
One part I normally do is just write in order to feel. Sometimes I don't do just meditation in
order to feel on that emotion, but I also write down about how I feel in order to help release
those bad emotion and negativity in myself and then cry. So that's the first part of the journal.
And after I cry, after I release all of that out, I also ask myself, you can do this right after you
cry or the next day or the next several days and just ask yourself, when you're in that
the negative zone, is all of that really true? Is all of that negative narrative in your head,
is that really true? And how you can change that story, twist that story. For me, it was about
fear of failure. And I felt like I was a failure. So I asked myself, was that really true? Is
everything I did really fail? Was everything I did was really wrong? Was I really that bad?
So I, in order to recollect myself, I needed to remember all the things that I had done in the
past and I succeeded in order to have more confidence, to gain back my confidence.
So you can write the journal about that or different stories that can help you to pick up
and to feel better about yourself. So first, all the bad feelings and sat with it and acknowledge
it and feel all of it and release it. And then now the time for you to stand back up and walk again.
Remember all the things that you have done, all the good things about yourself,
so that it will give you the motivation to pick yourself up. Number five,
I sometimes do exercise in order to help with my mood or when it feels like a really bad day,
maybe not like so much like when I was crying. But you can do this maybe after you cry everything
out to help with that, be on that curve of going up on that flow. So you can do walking, exercise
by doing yoga, Qigong. I found Qigong was very helpful for me in order to change my mood.
And running, running also really helped with clearing my mind. Of course, I walk with Marco
every day. Now I don't run as much when I travel around in the van. I can only exercise whenever I
can. But walking twice a day for me is essential. And I needed to do that to feel central, to feel
in my body, to feel present. So exercise is essential for that reason. It really helps
with mental health. And lastly, sometimes I imagine about visiting my past, talking to
the person I was several years ago, six, seven years ago, when I was at the lowest point in my
And I imagine telling her that no need to worry and stress out so much because
everything is gonna be okay. You're gonna get that freedom. You're gonna get what you wanted.
So don't waste so much your time and energy into worrying and frustration and depression
and anxiety. Because knowing that your future is secure, you're gonna get there. Because I am now
is where I wanted to be several years ago. So going back to tell the younger version of me
that oh my gosh, all the worries that you did back then, all the anxiety that you had to go through
back then, it wasn't really worth it. So whenever I'm in a low moment of myself now, not only I go
visit my younger self, but also my higher self, I imagine like, what she would say to me, like when
I'm in the down low. And I worry now, I have some anxiety, I don't feel good about myself now.
I imagine now in the future how everything is going to be okay, that I'm gonna be where I want
to be. So there's no reason to feel anxious, to be fearful, because it is going to be okay.
And I had experienced that in the past. So I know that it is true. So what I'm feeling right now,
it's just like the cloud on the sky passing by. It's not gonna stick. And I'm not gonna let myself
drop here, because I know my future is secure. And I am going to be okay. I'm gonna get everything
that I want. So that is how I deal with all the negative emotions. And that's how I whenever I
get into that very low mood in my life, those are the six ways I do to get myself back up.
So I hope that is helpful for all of you. And I will list all the resources. The Qigong video
I normally do is on YouTube. So I can put out a link for that. And if you want to check out my
