This is where all the magic doesn't happen.
It's funny, there's no booze lying around,
which is kind of weird to see.
We have an extra bunk, so we just put all of our crap in there.
Suitcases, vibrators, phone charger.
Hey, come on up.
Welcome to the, uh,
the periphery-mobile here.
Um,
as you can see,
not the cleanest bus ever.
Um, we've been calling it
lately the 9-11 of buses,
and, uh, as you can see,
it's, it's, yeah, it's kind of chaotic.
It kind of looks like we had a party last night.
No parties had it, um, sadly.
Um, but yeah,
I guess take a look at our, uh,
our little features here. We got our Playstation 3.
This is, I guess, the main centerpiece of the, uh,
of the bus.
We're constantly playing Grand Theft Auto and ---- like that.
Um,
and, like, FIFA, NBA stuff.
Um, so yeah, this is where the
parties happen, mainly. Um,
and, as you can see here,
we have some nice truck stop
purchases. Um,
some bargain bin type of stuff. Oh,
can't tour and not have
your bad boys want in to.
Um,
yeah, let's see here.
This is, uh, this is our kitchen.
Um, here we have
some whey protein.
Spencer, our singer, is a big, sort of,
lifter, so we have, like, four or five
canisters of this stuff. Um,
actually, it's funny. There's no booze
lying around, which is kind of weird
to see. Um, normally
we have some, some sort of, uh,
Patron or, uh, or vodka
or, uh, red wine laying around, but, uh,
yeah, we had, you know, we had a
bit of a party the other night, so it's all gone.
Um, and, uh, let's see
what else we got here. We may have some booze
in here. God, that
smells awful.
There's no booze in there, but, jeez, it smells like there's a
there's a dead body in there.
No, I mean, look, it's all a bunch of just, uh,
just random junk food, and something
is in there that shouldn't be in there, and it's
really, really killing my vibe right now.
So, let's close it.
Um, and, uh, let's see
here. This is a bathroom.
Um, yeah.
You know, this thing, this
thing gets, uh, pretty messy sometimes. There's no
water right now, sadly, so
we have lots of hand sanitizer and ----
like that. Can't be getting sick on tour.
Here we have our little
work table here. Um,
when there's not video games on here
sometimes our tour manager likes to sort of sit
down here and, uh, and do his
work and everything. Um, but yeah,
I mean, if you come onto our bus, um,
any other time rather than now, you know, this is the only
time you'll see this bus empty, or this
front lounge empty. There's always
a good number of people in here, and as you know, if you're watching
this, you know, Periphery has six members in it,
and on this tour we have
four crew members, so it's a lot
it's a lot of people. I think we have twelve
people currently on this bus that have to sort of
coexist, so. Yeah, it's
pretty nuts in terms
of the people we got on this tour, but
let's take a look at some of this random stuff.
Um, I
don't know what a lot of this stuff is.
Here we have some nuts,
or fruit munchies, or whatever. These are Nolly's
munchies. Misha's crackers.
Misha only eats crackers and cheese.
Um, got some bread.
Um,
utensils.
Some coffee.
Um,
let's take a look at some of these cabinets,
because I haven't really opened
much of these cabinets up the entire tour.
Um, let's see.
Got some nuts.
Got honey.
I don't think anybody actually uses
this ----. I think it was all here
before we actually started the tour. A lot of it belongs
to our driver, I think.
Let's see what we got here. It's a trash can.
Let's see.
What do we got up here?
Some sort of tarp.
Um,
Ziploc stuff, utensils, plates,
all that stuff. Typical kitchen
fodder. Um,
this is where all the magic doesn't
happen. Um, this is where
we all sleep, obviously.
And as you can tell, it's
in pretty bad shape right now in do-over cleaning.
Um, I sleep
personally up here.
And as you can see, my guitar
here is currently taking a nap.
Um, yeah.
So this is where I sleep. Top bunks are cool.
Um, if
you like that sort of thing, if your bus
or if your vehicle doesn't have a good shock system, you could
find yourself flopping around. And actually,
the other day, Nali, our bassist,
who sleeps here, he fell out of
his bunk. Um, and he landed on
sort of his head area
face-ish
part of his body, and he was
kind of hurt pretty bad. So, you gotta be careful
if you have a top bunk, but I'm very aware of that all the time.
Um, so yeah.
These are bunks.
We have a couple closets here.
We have
coats, jackets, stuff like
that. We got guitars laying around.
A vacuum cleaner.
You know,
typical, typical coat
stuff. And here we have more guitars.
You know, we have three guitar players in our
band, so, uh, as many guitars
as we have in our trailer and on stage, we
always have guitars in the bus, too. So,
I think we did a head count
of guitars that we have on this tour. It's something like
30-something guitars, so it's a
lot of stuff. A lot of stuff.
Um, stage clothes. This
smells atrocious, because these stage
clothes have not been washed for four weeks.
Uh, I got a Axe FX in there, which is
sweet. And yeah,
this is our junk bunk,
so to speak. Uh, we have an
extra bunk, so we just put all of our crap in there.
Suitcases, vibrators, uh, phone
charger. Oh, did I say that?
Um, okay.
Here we have our back lounge.
Um, and again,
running with the theme
of the bus.
Very, very messy. I mean, it's
actually been worse. It's actually been worse.
But, uh, but yeah, here we have our TV.
We've been watching a lot of movies on this
lately. We've been watching, uh, Stephen King's
It a lot late at night, and
it was Halloween the other night, so we got in this whole horror movie
kick. Um,
but yeah, we have our weight set here.
Um, I think
more of us in the band need to use this.
Uh, it collects a lot of dust.
There are one or two of us that like to use it,
but, uh, yeah. Here
we have some of these cabinets. Let's see what these
cabinets contain. Random
stuff. I'm really hoping, because I don't open these
cabinets ever, I'm hoping that something
embarrassing is not going to be in here.
Um, random electronic stuff.
Uh, let's see.
Ew, shoes.
Let's not, let's not open that one.
Um,
what is in here? Towels,
dirty clothes, flip-flops,
bags, smells bad.
Um,
oh, a Line 6 pod.
Hmm, see there's something we actually use
and something, uh, that's, uh,
that's related to work in some way.
Um, let's see what else we got here.
Um, yeah, this is
actually my little note here.
I got some vitamins.
Can't leave home without vitamins, multivitamins.
Got some straps.
Guitar straps.
Um, and yeah,
dirty clothes. Glamorous.
Alright, thank you so much guys for
joining us and, uh,
yeah, I hope to catch you guys on a tour soon.
Um, we're working on some new material,
um, which we hope to have out
by, uh, by early next year. I can't say much
about it yet, but, uh, but you'll see.
Hopefully we tour in support of it and you guys
come out and see us. But, uh, take care.
Thanks for visiting us.
