Hello everybody, welcome back to my channel. I'm so excited to have you here today. Like always,

video, please give it a thumbs up. Today's video, we're going to be doing a new year's reset. So
we're going to be resetting this house for 2026. And another fun fact about this video is my last
reset in this house. And it's bittersweet. It's very sad, but I'm also very happy to move on to
the next chapter. So we're going to be doing a lot of cleaning and decluttering and packing even.
And we're also going to get the Christmas trees put away today. So there's just going to be tons
of different kinds of motivation in today's video. And I hope that you get all the motivation you
need to get something done around your house. But without further ado, we're going to go make
a cup of coffee and we're gonna get right into this reset. I'm just going to wipe the counters
down. I'm going to leave that blank because tomorrow I'm filming the decorating in the
kitchen. So I have like a blank space because I went ahead and put all the Christmas stuff up.
And I'm going to go in with this snowdrop scent, Mrs. Meyers. This stuff smells amazing. I'm always
so excited to use this. I've kept this up because I just love it so much. I don't want to take it
down. I've been loving my little jar to use my K-cups in. So I'll take it down when I decorate
tomorrow. But for now, I'm going to leave it up. And another thing I'm very curious about is after
tomorrow's video, I will be peeling off the peel and stick backsplash in the kitchen. If you guys
remember when I moved in here, I stuck up the backsplash and made such a big difference. I'm
very curious to see how easy it is to take down. I'm really hoping it's going to be easy. But that's
just one thing I just thought about. I'm going to leave it up for the next this video and the next
video. And then I'm going to go ahead and take it down. But I will let you all know how easy it is
to take down. I think I'm going to make a little short video of it. And I will keep you guys updated.
So like I said, today's video is the last reset in this house. And that is so crazy to say. Tomorrow,
I'll be filming my last video in this house. I'm going to be filming my winter decorating part two
in the kitchen. And I'm really excited about that. And then I will start packing. I have stuff I've
got to sell. And I'll be doing all of that next week. And then we will be moving. And then I will
share like the empty house tour and my moving vlog with y'all after that. And as far as after
that, there's just going to be like tons and tons of stuff because we're going to be getting into
Valentine's Day and spring. Spring was like my new found favorite thing to decorate for besides
Christmas. So it does bring me a lot of joy. I'm very excited to do that in the new house. But I'm
just really excited to get there and get organized right now. My brain's just moving like 100 miles
an hour. I feel like I can't slow down thinking about where things are going to go and all that
kind of stuff. So we just have a lot of exciting things coming up. And I'm very excited. But I have
loved this house. It has definitely served its purpose. It's been amazing. It was like my first
house outside of living the apartments like by myself. And then Austin and Pluto moved in here
and we got married. And it was just so special. But now we get to all go move into our like home
together. And we are just so thrilled and so excited. We can't wait. But anyway, we're gonna
get back into the video. I just wanted to chat a little bit about that. All right, I need to put
some stuff away. But I have been working on these bins for storage for my new house. So I have two
that are just like first aid, sort of like medicine and stuff in the first two and then the bottoms
like bug spray and different things like that. So this will just like go in one of my closets
whenever I move in. So pretty much these are the only thing ready to go. I also ended up getting
this shower curtain at Target. It's got the little scalloped edges. And I don't know, it's just
perfect. I have another shower curtain I'm going to show you all. I'm about to show you all my box
of like all the new stuff that I bought for the new house. And I'm going to throw this in there
because that'll be one of the first things I bring over so I can like put all the new stuff out.
Not all of this is like new, but some of it is. So I've got
I bought this shower curtain a while back. I got it on sale. It's like the
linen shower curtain and I still really love it. But I think the other shower curtain will be good
for like all my spring videos and then maybe this for like summer and fall. So I'm excited about that.
I also picked up these a while back from Walmart. They're just some little dish towels as well as
this new mixing bowl set. Everything else is like regular decor. These plates down here, I got them
super on sale at Hobby Lobby. So those will be good in my kitchen because I've got open shelves
in my kitchen. So I've got to have some pretty put together decor for in there. But I'm going to go
ahead. I'm going to go ahead and put this in here and then I'm going to think of some other things
that will fit in here because this is just kind of like regular decor. You know, I'm not sure where
things are going to go at all, but I just kind of want to have like all the regular decor together
and then obviously all my Christmas stuff and fall and all that. So I'm going to go see what
else I can fit into this box and go ahead and have this box ready for moving.
