Happy 2026, y'all. Today, we are making
our vision boards and our goals for the
new year. This is a very relaxing,
laid-back vision board. You will not be
feeling this January dread and feeling
overwhelmed and like you need to do a
billion things. As a matter of fact, I'm
actually talking about how last year
started off on the worst foot for me and
how there were a lot of good things that
came out of it, but I went into the year
thinking nothing good was going to
happen because I was just so overwhelmed
and stressed out and just so down and
depressed and just in the dumps. So, I
think you guys are really going to like
this video. I hope you guys are making
your vision boards along with me. Love
y'all and let's get into it.
Hi y'all. Welcome back to my channel. Or
if you guys are new here, hello. We are
vision boarding and planning for the new
year, which is my favorite thing. I'm
like an Inagram type three, Leo. I don't
know. all those personality, whatever
all the personality tests are that like
love a vision board, love goal setting,
love planning, love achieving, that is
me. So, this is like really truly my
bread and butter and I love using the
beginning of the year as a good excuse
and kind of like a marker for the next
chapter. Before we get into this video,
I did want to just talk a little bit
about where I was like last year versus
this time this year, like today, and how
drastically different that is. And I'm
sharing this not to like brag obviously.
I'm sharing this to give some sort of
like hope because my like where I was a
a year ago now was one of the darkest
places. Sorry, this is moving. one of
the darkest places I've ever been in in
my life. For those of you may who may
not know, we lost my little brother two
years ago this month, which obviously
has been like the most devastating,
catastrophic, heartbreaking,
heart-wrenching
thing I've like ever had to go through
in my life. And the grief has been so
dark and so hard. And people who have
gone through grief and loss like
understand that like just because maybe
it looks like it's not, it does not mean
it's not there. It's always there. It's
just always there. It's always going to
be there. Of course, like it comes in
waves and it can feel different at
different points and of course, but
especially in the initial year, the year
year and a honestly the second year I
feel like was even harder with group.
Anyway, this time last year, I was just
in a very very very dark. Honestly, it
was scary. Like I was in a very very
dark place. I had like no hope for my
future. I had no real like desire. I
don't know. I just was like really
really really depressed and very very
down and just really in heavy grief. And
I truly like did not see a world in
which good things would happen to me at
all. I think if you only see me and like
know me from the internet this might not
like make sense to you but just from
things that have happened like very
traumatic events that have happened
throughout my life. I developed this
belief that like nothing good ever
happens to me, like if there's something
bad, like I had lost a step sibling, my
cousin who I was very very close with,
and my brother all under the ages of 24
within like 6 years of each other.
Anyways, like no need to trauma dump
just like giving context. There's just
been like a lot of really really hard
things that have happened and it made me
believe that like good things don't
happen to me. Like I just have like
really struggled with that in the past
year. My life has changed so much. I'm
actually going to insert a clip of where
I was and really like what in my life
has happened since. I will say like of
course the grief is still there. It will
always be there. There's very very hard
times. Like I'm still really struggling
in that area and I'm sure I will be for
a very long time. But my life like I
have joy and like happiness again which
I just didn't think was possible. And
I'm sharing this with you guys because I
needed someone to like say that last
year. Like I needed to watch someone. I
would literally Google people who have
like lost siblings and like lived good
lives. Like I would Google people who
had like gone through like similar
traumatic experiences so I could see
proof of good things happening or just
like some sort of hope. I went into last
year with no hope which also made me
think like this year's going to suck
because I didn't do like a great vision
board. I didn't do like a great you know
what I mean? like I was just so low that
I thought I like didn't have it in me to
like believe in myself and to believe in
like where my life was going cuz I was
so so so beaten down. And of course I
still feel a lot of those things, but my
life is so much better. Like I actually
could cry just by like it's actually so
crazy. So anyways, I'm going to insert
this clip so you guys can just see. I'm
just really really really down. Like it
I think yesterday was probably my
darkest day. Obviously, grief like comes
in waves and it's never gone away like
and it I don't expect it to ever go
away. I understand that. I know that.
But like I'm almost 8 month what am I 8
months and 2 days from today and it
feels like it happened 12 hours ago and
I feel like the sixth and the seventh
month specifically have been the
hardest. And actually a lot of people in
my family have been saying that like we
all like separately have been like this
month has just like annihilated me. And
yeah, I'm just like really really really
going through it. I'm going through it.
I feel like I'm failing in every aspect
of my life. I'm trying so hard. Like I'm
working so hard. I'm trying so hard and
I just can't. Like this week I just
finally crashed. Like I've been in bed
basically for like 3 days because I just
like can't get out of bed besides to
like do hobbies and stuff which is like
typically when you guys see me do
things. And I just I mean I still am
working. I'm just working from my bed.
But yeah, I'm just so depressed. Like
I'm And it's not even just depression.
Like grief is so much different than
depression. I wish I was just depressed.
Like I I wish I was, but I'm just like
very very very deep in grief. And I am
terrified for the holidays because I
know it'll only get so much worse. And
like I was thinking the other day like I
filmed something last like last December
because we've already lost my
stepbrother 5 years ago and I filmed
something last December being like if
you're grieving in the holiday season
like I see you. I understand. Like I'm
having a hard time. I'm like are you
kidding me? Like
I'm trying so hard to even survive
honestly at this time. So that's where
I'm at. Pretty miserable. I just like
want something good to happen in my
life. like something. Anyways, I'm
drinking my coffee. I'm going to like do
my stupid devotional. Makes me so
angry. And then I have a hair
appointment today.
>> He gets me almost every time. grow
>> in the midst of summer.
>> Happy birthday
to
>> watching it in.
>> Happy birthday.
>> Happy birthday
dear
fall.
Oh yeah.
>> It happens every
>> Oh my god. Oh my god. Anything.
gravel road towards the sea.
I blink and I remember you.
>> I hope that gave some sort of hope. It
has been quite the year and I'm excited
for us to take some time to vision board
and goal set for the new year. Okay, so
moving on. Something that I'm very
passionate about is you shouldn't spend
so much time building a career that you
forget to build a life. This is
something that I have learned through
loss at the end of the day. Like your
career actually doesn't matter. And as
passionate as I am about what I do and
as much as I love it and I love working,
it just will never be more important
than the people in my life, the friends
in my life, the family in my life, like
my actual life that I'm building. I like
to set goals and plans and visions and
stuff for like my personal life on top
of my career. I'm sure we all do. But I
almost do it in the same way
career-wise. Like I have goals even with
hobbies. Like I have like specific goals
that I'm trying to like maintain and
achieve and and work through. So I say
all that to say I'm doing like multiple
different categories. The first one
being my personal life. The second one
being friend of mine, my home and hobby
brand. The third being house guest, my
podcast, which also kind of like social
media and stuff will kind of like attach
to that. Then of course I have my
hobbies. And this year something that
I'm adding is a style vision board. This
isn't necessarily goal setting, but I
made a Pinterest board of different
outfits and style and things that I'm
feeling drawn to and that inspire me and
that I feel like I want to wear and just
things that I love. And I'm actually
going to make that into a board for my
closet room cuz there's so many times
there's too many times honestly where
I'm in my closet. I'm like I have no
idea what to wear and I have the coolest
stuff and I have great clothes like
don't get me wrong but I just I don't
know sometimes my brain just like stops
working when I'm in my closet. So I want
to make a vision board for outfits and
stuff that are inspiring me. So if I
need like some inspiration I can just
look to the vision board. So, tonight
I'm just going to finish up some of the
Pinterest boards. My process with
building goals, vision boards, all of
the thing. Oh my god, that one's so
cute. Anyway, my process is I start on a
Google doc and I separate into all those
different categories. From there, I make
goals that are very, very specific
goals. Next, I will make a board on
Canva. And I typically do that from
printer photos or sometimes I'll like
Google specific things that I need, make
that on Canva, print it out, cut it up,
make it into a vision board. I don't
really do the magazine route unless I'm
doing it with friends at a party just
because I like to have like very
specific things like I need like an
anthropology storefront where I can cut
a little recipe journal or dinner cards
and put it on there so I can physically
see like my products in the anthropology
like physical stores, not just online.
So far today, I've actually finished the
personal one and then I have finished my
style one, which the stuff is so cute,
guys. Feel like so good about these. I'm
loving them. And I'm going to go through
and finish up my other boards so that in
the morning I can have a nice perfect
morning where I set the vibe just right.
I have the candles burning. I have a
Martha Stewart documentary on because
that is what I need. And I get going.
Something that I did want to talk about
though is I have like an ongoing list of
things that inspire me. Like, you know,
when you just like need that wind of
motivation where you're like staying up
until 3:00 a.m. making a vision board,
like you need that feeling, you need to
channel that feeling. I have a list of
things that do that for me. So, I'll
just share mine right now. I have this
all written out because I go back to it
a lot. The absolute number one top of my
list is the Martha Stewart Master Class.
Now, MasterClass, I don't know what kind
of drugs they are putting in
masterclass, but my god, like I've
watched gardening masterclass. I've
watched how to shop at a farmers market.
I've watched so many different master
classes. And however they are editing
and shooting those videos, they are the
most calming videos in the entire world.
I just love them. And obviously, my
number one favorite one is the Martha
Stewart master class. And let me tell
you guys, that gave me the feeling of
being in middle school at an evangelical
church camp in Texas when the music is
on, the fog machines are going, your
hands are up. You know what I mean? Like
that is how I felt while watching the
Martha Stewart master class. And it's
just cannot recommend it enough. Number
two, the Martha Stewart documentary. You
guys will, you know, of course, see a
see a pattern here. Which reminds me, I
actually need to add Cherry Bomb to this
list. I can't believe I haven't added
Cherry Bomb to this list. Cherry Bomb.
I'm actually seriously not even quite
sure what Cherry Bomb is. Like a food
media company. I have the magazines. I'm
a subscriber back there. Um they're
quarterly and I read them every single
time they come. It's just like the it's
like Christmas morning when they come. I
love their podcast. Their host is so
calming and they have all of these
different people that are really like
having to do with food. And so of course
they're talking like coasting and things
like that. And I just find that podcast
to be so interesting. I really like
podcasts that are both comforting but
also inspiring and I learn from. Like
those podcasts make me feel like a
better person, but not in a way that
makes me feel like I need to change all
in my life. It just inspires me to like
take little tips and tricks and I just
love it. Also, side note, while we're
here talking about like comforting
podcasts, the Amy Polar podcast with a
garden, I've watched that thing like
four times. That is one of my favorite
podcast episodes that has ever been
created. and the way she talks about
Jeffree and like she's so cute. Aa and
both of them she's so cute and like
giddy and excited to be there and she
brings her gifts. Like it's just such a
sweet sweet podcast but on my list next
up we have the garden podcast my guest.
Love that podcast. Also very comforting
gives me the same feeling. I want my
life at all times to feel like an Nancy
Myers movie and like these are things
that are making me feel that way. kind
of more like analog I guess would be the
way to do it because a lot of podcasts
like even like pop culture or like
gossipy ones or whatever which like I
love from time to time those like make
me like too locked in to what's going on
in the real world. You know what I mean?
Like I want to step back and like read a
cookbook and garden and like needle
point and something to like regulate my
nervous system. Does that make sense?
Like I don't know. I do love a gossip
podcast, like don't get me wrong, but I
like this stuff for when I'm wanting to
like zone out and unplug and for anyone
who's wanting more of like an analog
2026. I'm seeing that all over Tik Tok.
That I think would be a really good
recommendation. Also, any Taylor Swift
documentary and Taylor Swift like live
concert. I used to watch Reputation all
the time. I'm watching Eras of course
the recent doc was so good. Next thing,
go on a silent walk. I know that they
were like annihilating people for these
silent walks. Like let me just tell you
like I don't feel like clarifying that a
walk is a silent walk is a crazy thing.
Like everyone you go on a walk and it's
like you have headphones on, you know?
Anyway, but going on a silent walk or
just a walk in general makes me like
actually clear my mind and I come up
with the best ideas when I'm on a walk.
Like if I'm not like seriously if I need
to think of a good idea, if I need to be
inspired, if I need to just like have
some sort of a creative energy running,
a walk will do it for me. Um, last
thing, which is probably the most
important as far as like knowing what's
going on in my brain, if anything at
all, ideas, ideas for the podcast, like
actually learning and like processing
what's going on in my brain, like
turning it into something would be
morning pages. I actually am so excited.
I bought one of those is it Louise
Carmen notebooks, like the journals, and
I'm getting back into my morning pages.
So, if you guys are unfamiliar with
morning pages, it's a concept created by
Julia Cameron and you wake up and you
journal for three pages straight, pen to
paper, you don't take your pen off the
paper. I always say it was like the
greatest tool for me to like get to know
myself and understand myself better. And
there will be certain things that come
out like sometimes you're writing like I
have nothing to say. I do not know
what's going on, you know, of course,
but then all of a sudden you're writing
about something that you like did not
even realize was still in your head at
all, like in your brain in any capacity.
and I will like connect like, "Oh,
that's why this thing bothered me in
this setting." And then I'm able to like
fix the root and then that stuff isn't
like bothering me anymore. You know,
it's actually like seriously the best
practice out of anything that I do like
wellness-wise besides exercise. I would
say like the actual morning pages and
it's a really it's great because it's
like free therapy in a way. It is truly
like the most helpful thing ever. Okay,
so after I hang up with y'all, I'm going
to finish the rest of these vision
boards and then maybe finish a couple of
them in the morning. And then um in the
morning, we're going to set the scene,
watch a Martha do, cut some photos, and
start on the vision boards. But we're
going to go through everything very
specifically. Um I hope you guys are
vision boarding with me while we do this
video cuz it'll be like so fun.
use my tan. I would really appreciate
some grace. I just applied my tan. I
need to wash it off in a couple of
hours. Okay, so I just made my coffee.
I'm about to put on the Martha Stewart
doc and I am going to finish the vision
boards for house guest in for friend of
mine digitally and then we will get back
to what we're doing here.
>> We will always talk about the really big
figure enormous mark on the culture.
>> She's one of the most powerful women on
THE PLANET. MARTHA STEWART.
SHE HAS REMAINED relevant for more than
50 years.
So, I think I have all of my digital
boards finally done. The style one was
completed last night. My personal board
was also completed last night. And then
I just did the house guest board and the
friend of mine board. There are a lot of
boards. I don't know where everything's
going to go. I'll be honest. I have my
friend of mine, the house guest,
personal,
and then style. This is going to be
probably an hour of cutting up all of
this stuff. I do have my actual
corkboards. One of them's in the closet
ready to go.
doesn't truth

see the likes that
during surgery.
She said she
was watching but
just
>> my style board is now finished as you
guys can see. So, as it turns out this
year, I like jewelry stacks. I really
want to focus on buying less and just
getting high quality pieces. I really
want like a tennis bracelet stack, which
obviously will not all be collected this
year. I want to start collecting jewelry
that's much nicer that I'll have and
like pass down one day. I don't even
know if I'm going to be able to get a
single piece this year, but it is just
something I'm thinking of. This is
actually a really nice exercise because
I didn't even really realize that this
is the stuff that I wanted to wear.
Everything like I love this jewelry. I
love color. You can tell I'm happy
because this is all color. A fun
statement bag. I love a bit like lots of
fringe. I love this belt. Like this
right here is my dream belt. I don't
know where I can find that, but I need
it immediately. Um it's a ton of
statement coats. I'm obviously going to
have to update this for summer. But it's
just everything. Lots of ballet flats,
cowboy boots, obviously kitten heels as
always, big blowouts, statement bags. I
really like a green bag. I love these
Chanel flats. That's going to be
something I think that I collect like
later in life. Like I just love Chanel
ballet flats. And right now we're we're
on like a Sam Edelman ballet flat
budget. Lots of fringe, lots of
statement coats, statement pieces,
things that you'll collect. I think this
is the sickest bag ever. I just love
this. And so I'm going to hang this in
my closet. You guys will see later. And
it's going to be so nice because when
I'm looking for inspo, it will be right
there. How nice is this? I forgot an
entire sheet. So, I'm going to have to
add this because I like these two I feel
like are like big statements. So, I'm
going to add these really quick.
I love jewelry like this right now. And
I love a green sparkly bag. Like I
penned this one as well. They're just
amazing. Like that to me is a neutral.
naturally hung up on me.
>> I appreciate that. I thought
she said to me, "I want to have dinner
at cucumber sandwiches
early morning. control.
Why is Martha didn't have the control?
>> Here is my personal. I am wondering if
I'm going to regret having so many
different vision boards. The closet is
more of a vibe. This is my personal and
I did want to talk through just some
things that I want to be doing and also
share with you guys my journal ecosystem
as everyone as all the cool kids are
talking about on Tik Tok. I have a
Louise Carmen notebook coming soon and
that'll be like my main like journal,
morning pages, all that stuff which I
will get into whenever that actually
arrives and I set it up. I've already
got like accessories and everything for
and I'm so excited because one thing I'm
going back to this year is journaling. I
know I talked about that briefly, but
especially when I'm doing morning pages,
I just feel a lot more connected to
myself. Like I'm in control of my life
and my dayto-day. I feel like a lot of
the time like life just happens to us.
we're busy and we're just kind of like
jumping from thing to thing. Whenever
I'm doing morning pages, I feel like the
only way to describe, okay, this sounds
so annoying and cheesy, but like life
happening to you versus you happening to
life. Does that make any sense? Like
whenever I'm doing morning pages, I'm a
lot more mindful. I'm thoughtful. I'm
thinking period, actually. And it's the
biggest difference. So, that's going to
be like morning pages and all that
stuff. My actual journals in my journal
ecosystem. The first thing that I have,
this is my new 2026 garden planner. I
get this from the Dallas Garden School.
So, if y'all are in like the DFW area
and you garden, this is a really
incredible journal because inside of the
journal, I've actually bought one for
the past like 2 years, I think. I think
this is my third actually. Um, there's
notes and also like when you should see,
when you should transplant, when you
should plant, like all of the things are
in here, which is really helpful and
really nice and I'm excited about this.
Then we have my OG recipe journal. I use
this thing every single day. As you guys
know, this is a friend of mine product.
I've developed actually the next three
of these that we're going into. They are
amazing and I go back and I use this all
the time. I have a couple blank pages.
So, I do have a little bit more to fill
out here, but for the most part, this is
essentially like my own personal
cookbook at this point. And I'm
constantly going back. Honestly, it's
really worn. I've been using this for
over like 2 and 1 half to 3 years now.
And I do have a separate one for
sourdough. I didn't bother bringing that
with me, but it's the worst one I have.
We have three different patterns on the
site. Anyway, this is my OG recipe
journal. I love to cook. That's like one
of the things that makes me a happier
human being. And also feel like I'm
happening to life versus life is
happening to me to just take that 30
minutes to an hour to just like be
mindful and in the kitchen. And it's a
creative thing and I just really love
it. Um Charlie and I have our own recipe
journal that we're doing this year and
this is the family print from a friend
of mine. We are going to develop one of
our own recipes per month. So in
January, I think we're doing like a
spin-off of this pizza that we like
almost made last week and then also just
like drinks and things from different
restaurants that we go to, like taking
the recipes. It'll just be a really
sweet little like memory book and I
think it's a really fun thing to do with
a partner. So, this one is specifically
for me and Charlie and it's going to be
all of our different recipes that we do
together and it's going to push us to do
our goal of developing one recipe a
month. So, I love this and I thought
that was like a really sweet idea. Um,
this one is actually just I wanted to
show you guys this because this is our
old recipe journal, the OG. This is the
new. It's actually the custom like Dolly
Twall all over it which I love. Um, it's
the exact same product on the inside.
It's just like a new cover essentially.
It's just an updated version of our OG
like TW. This is our custom one. That's
the first product we ever created. So, I
just like bought something and used it.
But this is like our actual custom TW
that I love so much. So, anyway, these
are going to be restocking on our site
in February. And if you want the other
prints, those are available now. My
favorite one. This is my hosting
journal. And this is like my true junk
journal. I only have Do I even have
anything left till I finish it? I have
one slot left for this, but this is how
I host all of my dinner parties and then
I go back and I junk journal it. So,
this is a really sweet
way to like hold it's kind of like a
scrapbook in a way. Um, but it's also a
dinner party planner. So, you go through
I can show you. Let me show you. I'll
just do the holiday cuz it's the very
first one. Like the theme is the
holiday. Here is the mood board, RSPs,
seating chart, the menu, and the grocery
list. the day I ahead of brain dump.
Okay? And then you go the week ahead
brain dump. Then you have the day of
like planner brain dump and then you're
on to the next. So it helps you plan a
dinner party, but then I go back through
and I junk Sorry guys, my camera died.
But I love having this because I can
plan out all my dinner parties and then
I can go back and junk journal and
scrapbook. So this is my stack or my
journal ecosystem. As of right now, I'm
really excited to get my Louis Carmen
notebook because that's just gonna
change the game. This is what I'm using
now. Love these. I'm gonna have all
these linked if you guys are in Dallas.
And then I'll try to find if you guys
are interested a garden planner that's
more generic and it's not, you know,
focused on DFW in case you guys don't
live here. Next up, personally, I really
want to get into or back into like my
morning reading and doing like different
exercises that just make me feel better
and again like more in tune, more in
touch, more thoughtful, like kind of
like more in charge of my life. These
are my two favorite books to do this
with The Artist Way. I've actually never
finished it and I recommend it all the
time. Feel like most people are like
that and I need to finish this. I do not
think that this book is advertised in a
good way. I actually think it's so much
more than this. It says a spiritual path
to higher creativity. I think more than
anything like you get to know yourself
with this book. It is so interesting.
There's 12 weeks. Every morning you do
your morning pages. Once a week you take
yourself on a solo date and then there's
reading attached to it. So I'm going to
get back to it this week. Um I had it on
my Kindle and then I decided to get a
physical version. But genuinely like it
is the best. I don't know. Even if
you're not someone who like identifies
as creative, it's really not even about
that. Like chapter week one is
recovering a sense of safety, recovering
a sense of identity, recovering a sense
of power, integrity, possibility,
abundance, connection, strength,
compassion, self-p protection, autonomy,
sense of faith, and it is truly just one
of the best exercises ever. So, I'll
also link this below in case you guys
are interested. I'm going to start like
this upcoming week. Um, and it just it's
like one of the best things I've done.
It's amazing. And honestly, I get so
much out of this. Like, I get almost as
much out of this, if not more, than I do
out of like talk therapy. It's really
that good. Last but not least, this is
like a faith book. It's more of like a
Christian book. I just love this thing.
I've read this probably 10 times in the
past like 6 years. I'll do it with
friends. It's like a 40-day I have like
lots of notes and stuff in this. It's a
40-day prayer challenge. It's a
devotional. I like this one specifically
because and I've like literally talked
about this book since college, but I
think I find the stories to be so
interesting. It's a couple pages versus
a lot of devotional books are like half
a page, but a lot of it will like tie
into history or like really cool stories
that have happened, really inspiring
stories. Just I don't know. It's like so
interesting to me like the actual
stories especially if you like history
or I don't know how to describe it. It's
just I haven't read it in quite a bit
honestly but it's really good and I want
to get back to reading this. Maybe even
I'll read this before bed. It's just
like a really inspiring book. Gives you
like a sense of hope and faith and you
know what. But anyway, I love these as
far as my daily reading, which is
something I really want to get back to.
So now I'm going to make my house guest
and friend of mine boards and we will
get back to that in 2 seconds. Okay.
Sorry. So for personal, I did do like
list of things within my hobbies that I
want to do like I need to plan my garden
within the next week or two. And for
needle point, I'm actually giving myself
deadlines, which has been really nice.
Like this, I know that's like a hobby.
It's not supposed to be like that, but I
have a lot of things that I want to do.
And honestly, it just like keeps me
going on the projects. I'm very goal
oriented, so it like works for me. It
doesn't stress me out and it keeps me
going. So instead of scrolling, I'm
like, "Oh, well, I have to get this done
by this certain day." So it makes me do
this. You know what I mean? Even though
like I wake up and I like think about
needle pointing. I dream of needle
pointing, right? But for example, like I
was up here two days ago and now I
almost have the full background done
because I gave myself a deadline which
I've actually really been enjoying. Um
I'm pretty much like capped out on my
hobbies. Like I've got them all. Like
gardening, needle point, sourdough,
baking, cooking, all the things. I've
got it all. But when it comes to like
actual goals, I did mention how Charlie
and I are going to develop a recipe
every single month and do our own
cookbook within the recipe journal,
which will be really fun. And I also
just really want to be taking classes so
I can learn more. And I love an inerson
class. Like I love it typically because
I'm around people who are a lot older
than me. So I really enjoy that aspect
of it, but also I like the community it
brings. I like learning. If I'm
consistently learning, I'm just a
happier person in general. Uh like
tonight we're going to a cooking class.
This weekend I have two gardening
classes and I want to keep that going
because it just makes me happy. It's
very fulfilling and like recharges me
and resets me and I just love those
things. So that's something I really
want to make sure I'm doing this year,
which I feel like I'm typically good
about that in the winter, but like the
spring and summer I'm not so great. So
I'm trying to like make it last longer.
I have my friend of mine vision board
for 2026. I'm going to put other
specific things, but it's going to be
like money and like details and stuff
that I probably wouldn't put on the
internet. Um, up here, these are
actually from last year. Here's the
thing about a vision board. Not
everything Well, maybe it will, but not
everything for me happens to my vision
board every single year, so I like to
like carry it over to the next year. Um,
we actually did launch an Anthropology.
So, that is true. Not the recipe
journal. I photoshopped all these. It's
Urban Nordstrom Anthro. Um, but we did
launch our dinner cards this past year,
so that did happen. What I really want
to do, I photoshopped dinner cards on
here, night cap cards, is I really like
my dream is for us to launch in store
and right now we are just online and we
are launching actually I can't even talk
about that but like I want like more
skews on anthropology as well. Okay, if
you build it they will come. I want to
continue building a community of women
who are homemakers, fellow serial
hobbyists who are like building
community around that, finding
independence, building confidence
through hobbies and I want to do that by
doing a lot of inerson events as well. I
want to do that online. Like I want our
BFF chat to have like 30,000 people. If
you guys are not in our BFF chat, I'll
link it below. It's basically just one
big group chat. It's separated by
different cities. So if you want to meet
friends who like like to host dinner
parties, like to play maong, like to
needle point, a garden, all of those
like maybe grandma hobbies that maybe
your friends are not doing in real life,
we have a chat for that. So there's all
these different cities. People are
meeting in them all the time. It's
really fun. I think we got like 10,000
girls in the chat and I want to get to
30. And I want to also do some inerson
events which I don't want to get into
just yet. Um but I have a really really
really exciting idea that we have
meetings about coming up. So that's
exciting. That's what the plane is for.
Lots of garden stuff. Hidden hint. Oh,
we obviously have Taylor Swift with some
product in a garden. Those are my dream
celebs for friend of mine product. Dream
big guys. Lots of needle point. I want
to be very innovative when it comes to
needle point. I have so many ideas that
are so cool. I've said this a billion
times, but like there's this house
purse, this needle point house purse.
Um, and I want us to develop those. We
are working on so many different things.
I've got so many like really unique
needle point ideas that I'm excited for
for this year. And then an office. I
would love in the next 2 years to have
an office space. I have a team here
because I want to build a team. Right
now, like full-time, it's just me. We do
have people on retainer that I'm working
with like regularly, but I would love to
hire people full-time. um collaborations
like I want to do I'd love to do a loom
well or just a wallpaper collaboration
in general and put our prints and walls
and stuff on wallpaper. That is a dream.
Hill House like of any capacity. It
could literally just be an event like
anything. I want to work with Hill
House. The Charleston Club is a um new
space in Dallas that is like a maong
parlor almost. It looks so sick. I want
us to do events there. Erica Wilson of
course. Needle point store nucket.
Cookie's lighting, which I love their
lights so much. It's a dream. This is
more like table wear. And yeah, that's
what I have for friend of mine for this
year, which is like obviously I'll be
adding stuff. Uh the main thing I think
is like if you build it, they will come.
And that is what I'm living by. We are
building the hobbyest dream brand. And
we are we are on it. The last one I am
going to do is house guests. And there
are so many different things that I want
to do for house gas. I've been doing the
podcast since I was 20 years old. So, of
course, there's going to be like
different chapters. Like, in my earlier
20s, we were definitely talking a lot
more about like navigating your 20s,
which now I look back on that and I'm
like, okay, in your early 20s, you
literally know nothing and you shouldn't
know anything. Like, that's kind of the
point of your 20s. You absolutely should
not know anything at all. Um, and that's
what I would tell you. I would actually
just sum it all up by saying
unnecessary, not needed. Don't even
worry about it. Don't need to know a
single thing. You're good. Anyway, in
the next like chapter that we're heading
into, I really feel like it's just
turning into overall a comfort show.
Like it is a comfort show where I want
you guys to come and like feel better.
Like it's like a deep a breath of fresh
air and very comforting, but also
inspiring in a way that makes you want
to live more intentionally and like love
your life more and create this life that
you love, but not in a way where it
makes you feel like you need to change
everything about you and change your
life. Like not in a way where it's like
super crazy harsh like insane hard
truths that you need to you know what I
mean? Like I want it to be a comfort
show that makes your life better. Um but
it doesn't mean that you are like not
enough if that makes any sense. So, I
want to continue on. I'm going to start
I think if you guys like these, we're
going to try it with Harrison and see.
But I want to do episodes where we are
like needle pointing like every 2
months. Like that wouldn't be like super
frequent. But I do want to do episodes
like that just because I think it would
be really comforting and fun and like I
would have like my close friends on to
do that. I don't know if y'all are
curious or interested at all on like the
back end of podcasting, but what's so
interesting is my most downloaded
episodes are almost always solos or my
close friends. And it's not all like
influencer close friends. I mean, now my
friends just actually kind of all happen
to be influencers, but that's pretty
much like anytime there's like a podcast
episode that's done super well, it's
like a solo or it is a friend or it is a
very very niche influencer or last one,
it's just like a really massive
influencer. It's crazy cuz people in
like the traditional world like don't do
as well in podcasting. It's always
people who are more in the influencer
world. So anyway, with that being said,
I do want to hone in more on like it's
not a rebrand at all. It's just like a
refresh of stuff. Like I do need a new
podcast cover and I've gone back and
forth. I'll show you guys my ideas after
cuz I have them pinned here. I do go
back and forth on it and I just can't
figure out what I want to do. I do have
an idea, but I'm afraid it's going to be
like a little too youthful. So, I'm not
quite sure if that is what we're going
to do. But I do have some dream guests
that are obviously like these are like
dream dream big massive guests. But
again, dream big guys. So this is the
house guest one. I will obviously spruce
it up a little bit. Oh well, here we go.
Um, okay. Some of my dream guests. You
guys have the hookups, let me know.
Martha Stewart, obviously being number
one. David Kesler, who is a grief
expert. I would love to have him on. His
grief work has helped me immensely.
Daddy stays home. He has the most
incredible YouTube channel where he does
like video essays. First off, he is the
set designer for a lot of the Nancy
Myers movies, but he does this YouTube
channel where he does video essays on
not just films he's done, but other ones
like he just went in and did Gilmore
Girls. He went in and did Home Alone.
And he'll go through and talk about the
interiors of like my favorite shows. And
I love that man. My dream is to do a
full episode with him and then also do a
full Christmas episode just on the
holiday. Like I want to record with him
of everything and like all of the stuff
in the honestly and then fall Gilmore
Girls and then winter would be the
holiday. Like I love him so much. He's
so incredible. Then we've got Kelly
Bishop. We've got Scott Patterson. We
actually, you know what? I don't know.
Lauren Graham and Amy Palina are
supposed to be on here too and those
didn't print out. I don't know where
those are, but um they are writing a
book that's being released next year
next year. So, I would like love to have
them on for the press tour. Brunch with
Babs, obsessed with her. Joy Lent,
obsessed with her. I would love to talk
to her about especially like faith stuff
because she, if you guys didn't read her
memoir, you really should. It's the most
incredible book. She's Haley from Montre
Hill and she's done so many other
things, but that's just one of my
favorite TV shows ever. And the way she
talks about like faith and like her
belief is so inspiring and she's was
literally left a cult that was a
Christian cult. So, I just find her to
be so fascinating. I actually did talk
to her. She called in for one of our
book clubs and we talked to her for like
an hour and she was amazing and she's
one of my favorite people and one of my
dream guests, Chrissy Mats. The world
does not know what a gym we have in
Chrissy Mats. Like here's the thing. I
think we all know how talented she is.
Everyone, but like we're still sleeping
on Chrissy Matts and oh my god, there
was a podcast episode she did on Jamie
Kleimma's podcast that was one of the if
not the best podcast episode I've ever
listened to. I love Jamie Klema. I've
had her on my podcast a bunch. She's
incredible. Chrissy Mets, like talk
about a comfort episode. Like that is
what I'm trying to bring is like a
comfort episode, you know, to everyone.
So Chrissy Mets, honestly, like top of
the list. Like I want her on the podcast
so bad. And I just know we'd be close.
Like I know we'd be friends. We just hit
it off, you know? And I love her so
much. And I don't know why her face is
covered. I should fix that. I'll fix it
after. Jojo. This is really a nostalgic
childhood one. I grew up on Jojo. Love
Jojo. I stayed during the court case,
all the battle. I I stayed up to date.
She was gone for 7 years. I know all of
it. I still go to her concerts. I went
to her concert last year. I've seen her
live like four or five times. Love her.
Then we have, of course, Garden who's
covered. I need to move these over.
She's my queen, my everything. Um, and
then we just have for Well, that
actually did happen. Forbes, but I kept
that on from last year. And then I would
love to do podcast live shows again.
Martha Stewart podcast. More homeworthy
stuff. I really want to do home worthy.
I want to do an updated house tour. I
want to do a Christmas house tour. And I
really want to do a video where we are
hosting a dinner party in honor of
Charlie's mom's like 10 year anniversary
for her book. Her book is under this
right now so I can't grab it. But she
has a coffee table book that I've talked
about this before a billion times. She
has a coffee table book that is a
essentially like bar entertaining. It's
like hosting dinner parties, different
themes, costumes, the whole thing. And
she has the sickest house and she has
literally a costume closet. Here's a
photo with two chains with her. like
she's just like iconic and I think it
would do so well and be such a fun video
like specifically for home worthy. So I
would love to be able to do that with
Home Worthy and it's like right up their
alley. Like that book is so Homew worthy
and I just need to get that happening.
Like that absolutely needs to happen. So
anyway, these are my vision boards for
the year. I'm going to put them up. I
have been yapping away. Um I guess I
will see you guys in my next video. This
is a really chatty video, so let me know
if you guys like this. It's kind of all
over the place, but I feel good going
into the new year. And even if you don't
feel good going into the new year, so
much can happen. A lot can change. And
like don't let the January January is a
foundation, okay? Like work, do the
stuff later. Like do not let the stress
and anxiety of the new year paralyze you
and like make you feel bad about
yourself or anxious or stressed and all
of those things. Just whatever. make a
vision board, have fun, you know, and
take it easy sometimes because sometimes
we put like way too much pressure on
ourselves in January and I'm like, I'm
gonna lose it. You know what I mean? So,
anyways, I love you guys and I will talk
to you in my next video, which is going
to be the most insane house refresh
you've ever seen. The tree is going up
today, which makes me like literally
want to stop. Um, and we're just going
to get to it. But anyway, love you guys
and I'll see you in my next video. Bye.
