Match-Day. (Day in the Life of a Professional Footballer)

So this is the matchday vlog—today we're taking on Millwall in the league kick-off at 2 PM It's currently 8:15 a m I'll leave around 8:35 since my reporting time is 10 a So I'm taking you all with me—hopefully there's a great game today and we pull off a good result but hey I'm bringing you along no matter what—let's go So it's currently 8:26 fifteen minutes before we leave and I'm going to make some tea ginger blended with honey—this is really good and actually gives me a lot of energy yeah see how it rises up that little tea bag Just arriving at the training ground now it's currently 9:51 and we made it on time It's actually still raining by the way so we're heading inside to check whether the game is still on or if we're training instead—once I find out I'll let you all know yes guys so I'm back home now from the game—I have the clips from the game here which I'm I'm going to go through everything with you and let you know what I think I did well as well as let me know what you think I could have done better yeah guys let's go for it I think this It's all right—the clip shows decent movement to get around both of them but it's good it's good It's a good block so in the next play I'm driving with the ball kind of moving inside to draw him out as if I'm moving inside then shifting to the right and firing off a shot—I think I could have done it I think I could have been a bit stronger here maybe even pushed harder for the penalty so he got a good arm out but I was knocked off balance so yeah I think I It's fine that I was able to get off a shot but honestly there wasn't much I could have done anyway I don't think so we've got the next one—center mid plays the ball out wide a nice early cross I think it's a good one I really think it's a solid pass—um I didn' Let them sit since I noticed they were still running back so I decided to cross early but yeah it's all good over here—I think I got caught in a nice cut across e box and to be fair that's a good ball—that's a good ball I think the strikers I'm lucky no o get a feel for it but yeah I think that was a good shot yeah I'm judging the distance Left back up 1v1 Nah I gotta beat the first guy—I’ve got to beat the first guy on this one I think I positioned it well to get away from him but it seems to be focusing on where my striker is Gotta beat that first man but it's a good header from him next one a long switch over the top Managed to get it down size him up shift it—I think that's a nice crossover Yeah that caused them some problems Um yeah I think this is a good clip to get away from the Move back create some space get across the box—there's a solid clip right there Their center back actually tries to play it through and there's a tricky moment because our center midfielder was a bit in the way so I had to obviously take control of the ball and he had to move out of the way a little but I think my second touch sorry my first touch could ave been inside to completely remove the number five from the equation which is why he manages to get a little toe on it and when it goes out for a corner but I think that is so it's a good interception a good drive but my touch needs to be more direct my drive has to be s is the second half uh to be fair he's a nice kid and I could've played my midfielder there I could have played my midfielder but it's a good run behind to get there—yeah my midfielder The number 10 might be joining if I slide him that would be his first time finishing but yeah the buildup play was good—a nice long ball over the top behind the defense cut back he thinks I'm I'm going to cross it on my right foot in the middle good hold up play from the striker end getting it up a shot off but yeah it's all right clip yeah To be fair one of our Midfielders could have joined for a shot but it's all right—here's the clip I'm driving s is the final stretch of the drive—I think it got blocked so I turned back and now they're both were pressing me but I managed to slip away from both and set off on a pleasant little pass at the wide crossing the box that's a great save by the keeper—that's actually a great save by the goalkeeper eeper let's watch that again Yeah to be fair to get out of this it was good and then our kind of Right center midfielder drifted wide which was excellent creating space in the box for Makis But yes guys that's the clip—let me know what you think I could have done better—let me know what you think I could have done more of but overall I think we've done all right it's just about improving and building on what you already know good at and kind of working on the stuff that you know you're not as good at just to go at it aga raining again just focus on the things I'm good at and work on the ones I'm less skilled in as I said Good at keeping up the work and doing the extra things and the results will come yes guys that’s the day — in a life match the edition is done Hopefully you enjoyed
