Okay.
Now, let's dive into the exciting and informative lesson together.
All right.
The first one is this.
50,000 won.
As you can see, this is yellow.
And the main character is a woman.
And she is the only one woman in every Korean currency.
Her name is Shin Saimdang.
And she's very famous for good wife and good mother.
But before that, she was also very famous for genius painter
and poet in Joseon dynasty.
Approximate value of this bills,
you can just hide a thousand units like this.
You can see 50, right?
So, this is approximately like $50 to $45.
It's depending on exchange rate all the time.
But it's easy to guess the value.
All right.
And the next one is this one.
The green one.
And it's 10,000 won.
10,000 won.
Okay.
And as you can see, here is the man.
And he is the King Sejong the Great.
Sejong the Great is the most respected king among Korean people.
He invented Hangul, as you know.
And he also invented lots of things like this one,
astronomical instrument, something like that.
And the value of these bills is around $10.
$8 to $10.
The next one is the brown one.
This is 5,000 won.
And 5,000 won's character person is Yulgok Yi.
Yulgok Yi is the representative Neo-Confucianist in Joseon dynasty.
And also, he was a very practical politician.
Okay.
And this painting has come from his mom.
And his mom is the only one lady that I already told you.
The Shinsaimdang who is in the 50,000 won.
So, anyway, this 5,000 won is worth around $4 to $5 in U.S.
All right.
The next one is the blue one.
And this is 1,000 won.
1,000 means 1,000.
So, you can see 1,000 won.
He is one another representative Neo-Confucianist in Joseon dynasty.
Known for the educator.
To teach the Confucianism to his students.
And this bill worth around $1.
All right.
And now, let's move on to the coins.
So, when I talk about coin, I'm going to tell you this one first.
Saving bank.
This is not a beer.
Yeah.
When I pay for bills, then I got this one as a jandon or geoseureumdon.
I mean, changes, right?
I save this money to my bank account.
Okay.
But for the two coins that we actually use a little bit.
The first one is this one.
500 won.
This is 500 won.
And we use this 500 won when I go to coin noraebang.
The next thing is this one.
100 won.
And I don't think there is a time that I can use this 100 won these days.
Vending machine coffee.
Yeah.
Maybe it cost 300 won.
And he is the general Yi Sun-shin.
He was a powerful general who prevented the Japanese invasion during the Joseon dynasty.
And Korean people loved him.
Yeah.
He is the most beloved general.
And here is two coins.
50 won.
10 won.
But I think recently nobody uses coins a lot.
So this is only in my saving bank in most of times.
And now let's discuss what we can buy using these bills and other coins.
And from now on, I'm gonna speak in Korean.
So you can refer the subtitle.
Olive Young.
So it's less than 50,000 won.
If you want to buy a dress, it's more than 50,000 won in Zara.
You can see this.
Jeans are also 55,900 won.
It's more than 50,000 won.
So you should know that it's a little expensive to buy clothes.
It's a little cheap.
Let's see how much this t-shirt is.
This kind of beige knit sweater is 45,900 won.
If you want to buy clothes, you can buy a t-shirt for 50,000 won.
That's it for clothes.
Next, let's see what's good.
Are you curious about the price of fried chicken?
Fried chicken is usually a lot for one person to eat.
At least two or three people eat together.
I think BBQ is the most delicious brand of fried chicken.
But BBQ is the most expensive.
Fried chicken is the most expensive.
So, based on the most expensive price,
It says fried here.
It's a procedure that's right for fried.
Anyway, if you go here,
Is it true?
Golden Olive Chicken is 20,000 won.
I was surprised.
It's more expensive than pork belly.
It's the most expensive, the most delicious.
I don't know if it's expensive because it's famous.
Or I'll see if everything else is up like this.
Fried chicken is 20,000 won.
Kyochon Chicken is 20,000 won.
Kyochon Chicken also followed BBQ.
And BHC is 17,000 won.
Oh, my God.
It's really expensive.
It's more expensive than boneless chicken.
26,000 won
Seriously?
Everyone, I was really surprised.
My favorite in Kyochon is Honey Original.
19,000 won
Why is this price so acknowledged?
Anyway, the price of chicken is very high right now.
If it's 50,000 won, you can eat two chickens.
The most famous snack bar in Korea.
Kimbap Heaven
It's Kimbap Heaven, right?
So I'm going to Kimbap Heaven.
I'll take a look at the price.
Kimbap Heaven Sungkyunkwan Daejeom
I went there and the menu came out here.
Is this price up or not?
If it's 2,000 won for vegetable kimbap, it's cheap.
Is it real?
I can't believe it.
These days, prices are going up day by day.
I can't believe the price.
So if you want to eat delicious Korean food at a low price,
Bibimbap, fried rice, kimchi stew, etc.
Actually, it's more delicious if you go to a specialty store and eat it.
But at a low price,
If you want to try everything you haven't tried before,
I recommend Kimbap Heaven.
The price is so cheap.
If it's two people, it's about 15,000 won.
I think you can eat enough.
If you're alone, you can easily eat it for 10,000 won.
Lunch price for office workers
The average lunch price for office workers is over 9,000 won.
It comes out like this these days.
So if you just think about a normal meal,
I think 10,000 won is enough.
Now, let's go outside and see how I use cash.
Let's go together.
In this video, we learned about Korean currency and its different value.
From the 50,000 won to the 100 won.
We also discovered the average price of various items,
