A Magical Christmas in New York City | 48 Hours in NYC at Christmas Time

Hey there and welcome to Christmas in New York City. Can you believe that we are here? One of my very very good friends, her name is also Brittany, and I decided that we wanted to end the year on a really good note and just take a little girls trip and experience Christmas in the city. Neither of us have spent Christmas in New York City and so we're going to spend a few days here. We just arrived at our hotel. This is the Pierre. It is such a beautiful beautiful hotel. The lobby looks incredible for Christmas. It's just a really really magical place. It's right by Central Park. It's a really great location to just do all the things downtown Manhattan and I love love this hotel and I'm so excited to stay here at Christmas. So I'm going to give you a quick tour of our room before we step out today just so you can see it. I'm always curious to see different rooms when people travel so we just have a small room and we're not going to spend a lot of time in here so it'll get the job done but always great service here at the Pierre and yeah of course I would not come to the city at Christmas time and not bring you with me. Really excited to share this trip with you and get this started. We're just here for a couple of days but of course we are going to do all of the iconic Christmas things. We're actually about to head out to Rockefeller Center. We're going to go ice skating and of course you know that I could not come to the city and not visit the Balsam Hill Chalets at Rockefeller Center so I'm really looking forward to doing that having some cozy hot cocoa and just seeing that beautiful beautiful tree in person. I am so excited. I've never seen the Rockefeller Center tree in person before so this is just such a special special trip for me and Brittany and after that I think we'll do some sightseeing. I don't know we're just going to see what we can do and I know for sure we're going to the Rockettes tomorrow night because we can't miss that. We can't come for Christmas and not go see the Rockettes. I'm going to do my best to share every bit of this trip here with you so thank you for being here today. So I think that's what we're going to do. It's actually a beautiful day. It snowed a couple of days ago here so there's a little bit of snow still on the ground but it's in the 40s. I know for you northerners it's not that cold. For me we'll see how I fare today. Anyway let's head out and go see what we can find. It's December again. I can't wait to leave it and to the rest of the year. I barely did see it now I'm calling all angels high if you are there i want that christmas spirit again and myself wandering downtown oh shopping listening to the sound from some street crier caroling through the air and the smell of a big christmas tree again this is like her color this is you all right it's a little dark in here because it's night out and I don't have the best lighting but Britt and I just got ready. We are going to officially see the Rockettes and I'm so excited. We're about to head out to the show. It's Christmas Eve and I've still got nothing for you I'm out on a last minute spree hoping to find that something that makes you see that I love you I've been out running all day nothing catches my eye what do you get for someone who has it all I've been to every corner of this godforsaken morn what in the world be that something that made you see that I love you I've got to give for Christmas is this a christmas kiss close your eyes and park with your lips cause here it is all right so we are back in the hotel room again not the best lighting but we just had such an incredible last night in New York City and we're gonna go to bed because we have a very early flight so I just want to say thank you for hanging out with us in this video I hope you enjoyed it and I will see you again soon in the next one until I do take care Merry Christmas and even though we didn't decorate in this video I always like to wish you a happy decorating so happy decorating
