Toyota Sienna MiniVan Conversion - Simple and Easy Design | Van Tour

We're good? Okay. Hey everybody it's Lawrence here and we're just going to share a little bit about our van here. So we've been just having some fun. So we're going to be taking some trips and one of the things we wanted to do was sort of get away from the hotels and and sort of turn our van into a travel van so we could just enjoy just the outdoors. So we love it. We love being out and just enjoying the fresh air and so we did a few things. It was fun actually doing this and just uh we took a look at some videos on YouTube and it was actually kind of cool. But uh so what we did do though is we did convert the back and it made a little user friendly for the little wife here. So it's basically her kitchen back here is what I did. So we got a nice little 22 liter water container with an actual batterized pump which is just so cool. It makes it so easy. So for her to get water and not for us it's just it's awesome for cooking. So that and then we just built a couple little shelves that hold everything and we've got a little a little cooler down here which is a horizontal cooler which is awesome which we're going to have some fun with. And I actually got one of these up in the front as well between the seats now so it gives us extra room. And then I just built her a little little countertop to do all of her cooking and cutting and just uh just organize things so which is kind of cool. And then out here we got our little cooktop which is going to be awesome for us so we can just stop and cook and just enjoy and that'll be nice. And then underneath we just got extra storage. We just got a actually today I bought actually a five gallon little propane tank and that's going to be for the barbecue. It's so much cheaper and just more economically friendly so and everything else is just storage. And it's surprising though we got actually so much storage in here and then just even with the little shelf and we actually got our queen size bed back here and uh it's been so cool. So it's kind of neat just to see. What's up hun? The what? The bed? No this one. The shelves? Shelves for? Yeah our little shelves for plates and cups and cutlery and then we got our little pots our little just our little frying pans. So and just thing and then we got our little bags here they're going to hang our fruit and just our vegetables and that just make it easy. So the little things but you know as you go I don't know it'll be fun because as we go things are going to change and just make things better for us and just funner. So we're looking so much just to get out and enjoy. So we're going to head to actually BC next year and that's going to be fun. But let's go around I wanted to show you what we've done. So this is the awning we actually just purchased which is just like first time putting it up and the thing is just sweet. And then so it gives us some protection but we got our bed and this thing is phenomenal. It's actually four and a half inch memory foam and we got it from Ikea. Ikea. Which is just super and then I've loaded it up with blankets. We've got a double quilted mattress in there and it's just going to be so warm in here for us because we it's just it's nice. And for the size of it I'll tell you it's going to be cool. I'm actually going to take my shoes off. So there's actually it is a full queen and we've got these little these little fans in here too as well. But for sleeping it is going to be just absolutely comfortable in here. It's going to be awesome. So and then we just we got the little um we made window blockers which is going to be nice. And I also got that at Home Depot or just uh I forget what it's called. I can't remember. I can't remember. But it's it's such an easy material. I'll get the name for you and actually put it up. But it's so cheap you can buy it by the roll and then you just cut it and it fits and it's like bubble wrap. Yeah. And then we also got some spray adhesive and some material and we actually uh did that on the inside. So it just makes it a little bit nicer on the inside for us. It's not so shiny. Yeah they're underneath. I got them underneath the comforter and the bed. So I'll show you. You have lots of storage down there. We do. There is tons of storage. Look at this. So we actually got so much underneath here. We got our table and I got our barbecue down here. But we're also going to have our clothes storage and everything else. There's just so much room. It's just unreal. You just got to utilize it and just just use it right. So this is this is what I was talking about. This is actually for the back window. Yeah. And it's so nice. The material is just it's reflective. So it's supposed to keep the sun out and keep it cool inside which is nice. So we're looking forward to that. But it's just uh we have them for all five windows in the major. And then we have a curtain that goes up in between the seats which is just for privacy at night. So for us. So we can sleep. Yeah. And our bed converts into a couch. Our bed converts into a couch. I made it so it does. But we can't do it yet because I've got to wait. I've got to get the mattress. I've cut it in three already. But it's got a really nice quilted top and I didn't want to ruin that. So I think I'm going to get a seamstress to actually seamstress and actually make it into three different uh sizes and keep it together. I don't know. I'll figure it out. But we'll make another video for that. Yeah. We will. We'll make a video just to just to show you guys. It's kind of fun on the way. But that is it. That is our little talk of what we've done so far to date. Yeah. So we're excited. We've got more stuff to come yet. And yeah I'm just stoked. I'm just ready to hit the road. It's coming up. We get a week and then we're on holidays for a week. We're just going to take off. So be our first test to just test things out and see how things work. So thanks everybody. It's been awesome.
