Etudier au Canada - Inscription - permis d'études - visa visiteur

Hello everyone this is Rassane Chebounier immigration consultant at Mavois In this video we'll discuss studying in Canada Before even beginning one must first consider the duration of the studies as it will determine the entire immigration process So how long will your studies take Here we have two hypotheses The first is that the studies last less than six months Therefore if that applies to you you won't need a study permit to come to Canada This means that in order to come to Canada and study for less than six months You will only need a tourist visa or an electronic travel authorization I recommend checking out our series "Canada With or Without a Visa" for more information on this topic Now if you're studying in Canada for more than six months you'll need a study permit and a temporary resident visa and if you're going to Quebec you'll need a Quebec Acceptance Certificate Therefore since most students coming to Canada They come to study for more than six months we'll assume that and see what it implies Therefore studying in Canada involves four main steps The first is choosing the institution followed by gaining acceptance Gather the required documents and submit your study permit application In this video we'll cover only the first point The rest will be covered in the following installments of the series When choosing a school there are two important factors The first is the curriculum The course of study will be what you'll be studying so it could be sciences computer science medicine Engineering no matter the field And then at what level will you be studying it So are you planning to pursue a bachelor's program Are you planning to pursue a graduate program Master's DLSS a doctoral program or college-level training Here we're discussing the academic program Next once you have确定 your study program you must ensure that the institution where you will study is listed as a designated educational institution This means it is an institution that has been approved by the Government of Canada and will enable you to obtain your study permit and temporary resident visa Now we'll take a closer look at the curriculum in more detail Here we're at the Educanada website You'll find the link in the description And I recommend you take a good look at that website and spend some time there as it explains all the study programs and associated costs Universities and also scholarships for international students are discussed So you have access to a wealth of information regarding studies in Canada and I strongly encourage you to spend as much time as possible exploring it until you decide which program is right for you and which institution Once you've found the program that's right for you and the institution where you'd like to study you can check that the institutio The one you selected is listed in EED Here we are on the Government of Canada website with the list of designated educational institutions You'll find the link in the description And there you can see at the bottom of the page a scroll bar displaying all the provinces of Canada Here you need to select the province where your institution is located For example someone studying in Kingston Ontario would choose Ontario You need to select Ontario and then in the search section here use the keyword So you can see all the universities listed in Kingston With their EED number This number is extremely important because you'll need it later o apply for your study permit and receive your temporary resident visa In the upcoming videos we’ll discuss admission requirements the necessary documents and how to apply for a study permit That's all from me I hope this was helpful and I'll see you very soon for the next video
