In this video, we'll show you how to ranger roll your OCP uniform.
Before we get started, it's important to note that all folds should be neat,
crisp, and all wrinkles should be smoothed out prior to any folding.
Be sure to remove all patches and lay all garments down on a flat, hard surface.
All zippers and buttons should be securely fastened.
Let's start with the t-shirt.
Take the bottom hem of the shirt and flip about 4 inches of it inside out to form a cuff.
Next, leading with one of the sleeves, fold the shirt vertically until you reach the shoulder.
Align the tip of the sleeve with the shoulder hem.
Perform the same vertical fold in the opposite direction, lining up the sleeve with the torso.
Fold the remainder of the sleeve inward.
Next, rotate the shirt so the collar is facing you.
Tightly roll the shirt upwards for the entire length of the shirt.
Once you reach the bottom, you'll notice a pouch along the backside of the shirt.
Wrap that pouch around your rolled up shirt, locking the roll in place.
Pull any remaining fabric on the side down to further secure the roll.
Next, let's roll the OCP coat.
This process is very similar to the shirt,
but is a bit more challenging due to the thickness of the fabric.
Take the bottom hem and flip it inside out about 4 inches to form a cuff.
Then, take the long sleeves and fold them inwards towards the collar.
This will mimic the shape of a regular t-shirt.
From there, you can repeat the same process used for the t-shirt.
That entails folding the coat vertically, lining up the sleeves with the shoulder hems,
folding in the opposite direction, and lining the sleeves up with the torso,
rotating the collar towards you, and rolling upwards.
Again, once you reach the bottom, wrap the pouch around the rolled up shirt to lock it in place.
Finally, let's roll the pants.
Fold the pants vertically in half, stacking the two pant legs on each other.
Next, flip the top pant leg and fold it upwards into a 90 degree angle, replicating an L shape.
This leg will later serve as a makeshift storage unit for your rolled t-shirt and OCP coat.
Disregard it for the time being.
Take the waist of the pant and tightly roll it down the entire length of the flat facing pant leg.
While tightly holding onto the rolled half of the pant,
take the remaining leg and fold it inside out,
completely tucking over the rolled portion of the pant and pulling it all the way over.
Once your military pants are rolled,
use the spare space in the pant leg to store your rolled t-shirt and OCP coat.
OCP pants typically have drawstrings at the bottom of each pant leg.
Once your rolled shirt and coat are stored inside of the makeshift pack,
use the drawstrings to secure the items.
And that's how to ranger roll your OCP uniform.
