We have to follow a master menu, 21-day cycle.
Headquarters Marine Corps order.
They're the ones who produce it.
We just kind of have to regulate it.
I'm the mess hall manager.
My job is to make sure Marines get the adequate chow, nutritional chow,
that they are coming here to partake in.
We order usually about two weeks in advance,
and if for some reason we think we're going to get more people or less people,
then we order more food or we kind of split the food up between the mess halls.
But for the most part, we order in advance.
Our numbers are pretty on point, so it's not a bad idea.
We start people's day, you know what I mean?
Just like a car, how a car takes fuel, the human body needs fuel in order to work,
and every morning they come in to get their breakfast and lunch and dinner.
So we play a very vital role in everybody's life, and yeah, I love what I do.
