Hey, listen, I love doing a crazy intro for you and like...
You're over it?
No, I'm not over it, but I feel like these podcasts,
we got to get right to the meat so people just...
They're into it.
Okay.
You know what I mean?
No, I get that.
But also, I'm thinking...
You're amazing.
You're awesome.
You're the best host ever.
I'm thinking long term.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm thinking on our...
The relationship or the podcast?
The podcast.
The relationship, it's on the way down.
Yeah.
No, I got you.
I'm waiting for you to leave any day.
Like all the best podcasts, right?
Right.
They'll do like on their 10-year reunion, right?
They're like, let's take a look back.
And then I'm going to have like a montage of all your intros.
Oh, amazing.
We have a bunch.
I like the long intro.
Guys, if you like the long...
We're going to do one more long intro.
But if the comments say no more long intros,
then it's going to be gone next week.
No one said anything.
People replace you so fast.
I heard Dave Portnoy is looking for a job now.
I'm going to get him in here.
And he'd be great.
So ladies and gentlemen, here she is.
The most amazing woman in the world.
The most cutest, the most beautiful, the smartest, the funniest.
The woman who knows everything about relationships.
Here she is.
Naveen Nash, the smartest girl in the world.
Thank you.
Okay.
That was really...
Was that so hard?
No, not at all.
I was just offering a new idea.
But you know what's going to happen?
The comments are going to be like,
you keep the intro.
You guys vote.
He's so controlling.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's so controlling.
My God, I've been sleeping so good.
Thanks to Magic Mind.
Thank you.
This is a quick update for you guys.
Magic Mind and these are the little sleep shots
that I take with Ashkawanda and Elthean.
And I take them every night.
And don't I?
Aren't I just like, I have more life during the day?
He's like in such a better mood.
If you have trouble like falling asleep and staying asleep,
definitely check them out.
We've been using the sleep shots for almost a month now.
And I feel like you notice a difference immediately
from the first shot.
Yep.
And then they also have focus shots,
which I'm obsessed with.
Gives you a little caffeine boost.
And they're just like filled with things
that are actually good for you.
And they don't give you a crash.
Go to the link in the description
and check out Magic Mind, guys.
You get 45% off.
Yeah.
That's basically free.
If you're bad at math like I am.
Well, listen, it's so great to be back on the podcast.
This thing is flying.
And we are getting more and more people every day.
Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it.
You're welcome.
And if you guys have questions,
please write into the show, smartestgirlpod at gmail.com.
No, I actually have a dedicated email address.
It's advice at the smartestgirlpodcast.com.
I'm dealing with news podcasts right now.
I'm not using Gmail.
I have an official website and an official email.
Oh, amazing.
What do you pay for that a month?
A lot.
And they pay for the voicemail line.
And you guys just keep prank calling it.
And I'm waiting for a real-
Can we go through the prank calls one day?
I can't because I checked it the other day
because I was like, oh, let me see.
Yeah.
And I was like, God, damn.
A bunch of pranksters out there.
It's, yeah.
And they're tricky.
They'll be like, hey, girl.
I love that.
I was just wondering, I hope you can help me.
I'm just trying to understand.
Why are you with Jason?
That's so weird.
And then they'll go off on me.
Maybe we should cut the line off.
I don't want to cut it off.
Well, why would you keep it going if you never use it?
Well, so I would cut it off, but on an Instagram post.
Yeah.
And our photoshoot pictures, I have the number across.
Yeah, but I mean, you posted that three months ago.
No one sees that.
I know, but it's like, what if someone goes through?
How much is it a month?
I don't even know.
I just kind of put the credit card number.
I hope it goes through.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, guys, call the number so we're not paying for no reason.
And leave a real question.
We've got questions.
Amazing.
Let's get through it.
Let's get right to it today.
It's going to be a tight one, tight pod, because I got a lot to do.
What do you have to do?
I got to cut that video.
But I like a tight pod and a tight bod, huh?
Oh, yeah.
Jason's getting his body tight and right with the weekly shots.
Oh, yes, yes, yes.
That's going to be so good.
Even by the time we go to Heath and Mariah's wedding,
you're going to feel so freaking good.
Give the woman a plug.
Oh, by the way, I made a reservation for South Beverly Grill on Sunday night,
this Sunday night, if you want to go with Charlie.
With Charlie?
Oh, my God, that'd be amazing.
What do you think about putting your napkin in front of your...
Childish.
You don't like that.
If somebody sits down and they put the napkin right here underneath
and they spread it out like a bib.
You shouldn't be eating to the point where you need to do that.
Oops.
What if you're a spillage kind of guy?
No, but you should work on the spillage.
You need to have decorum and everything that you do.
Okay, fine, fine, fine.
What if I'm eating crab legs and I'm at a lobster house?
Then can I wear the bib?
Well, then they give you a bib.
And that's okay.
If it comes with the environment,
if you're the only adult wearing it,
then that's when you got to take a look.
Okay.
And how many jackets should I be bringing?
We're not doing that.
You're always wrong about that.
Hey, what did we talk about in the podcast meeting?
You are always wrong.
I am always right.
I like that character.
Can you do that more?
Anyway, back to our love.
Do that unhinged character more.
That's really good.
You are always wrong.
That's so funny because you're always keeping it together.
And that's why that's so funny when you lose it.
It was just a character.
You look gorgeous today.
Go.
Okay, let's get off South Beverly, girl.
I mean, I'm down to go now.
Jason, we got to answer people's questions.
Jumbo shrimp.
How do I talk to my partner about money and finances without it being awkward?
Next question.
If anyone could let us know.
Who wrote this question?
You?
No, no, no, I didn't.
That's actually a big question.
Because even when we had someone on the podcast the other day, guys don't like...
Dominique was saying that girl asked if he's successful.
And I feel that men find that so off-putting.
But I think it's okay to talk about how you're doing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You should talk about finances.
Otherwise, I think that also helps with expectations and stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, I get like that if I'm like...
Yeah, I get really sensitive about that.
For sure.
Really?
Yeah.
I can see why it's a good question.
It's a really good question.
And I don't have any answers for this person.
I think if you're with your person, you should just talk to them about it.
Even if they feel awkward, I think if you're coming from a good place, it should be received well.
Yeah.
I always like to say too, addressing it and being like, this is such an awkward topic.
I really want to talk to you about this.
Maybe we'll make you closer.
Yeah, that's really great.
And I love you no matter what.
Not you, that's what you say.
Oh, yeah.
Always preface everything that way.
Yeah.
All right.
I mean, yeah, finances, it's tricky.
It shouldn't be.
Yeah, I mean, I am making millions from this YouTube channel and Naveen has no idea.
I'm just banking it.
You probably are.
You've seen the views.
Is it a red flag if my partner isn't sure about the future?
Is it a red flag?
I think it depends how long you've been together.
Is it a red flag?
What's the question?
If their person isn't sure about the future.
Yes, 100%.
I feel like if you've been together more than a handful of dates.
Well, hang on.
I believe that a guy knows.
I believe a guy knows.
I disagree.
A handful of dates is a crazy thing to say.
You know, you know, if you can, if you can.
No, no, no.
You got to give them like a year.
A year?
To think about marriage?
No, no, no.
It's not to like, be like, okay, like we're doing it.
But to know that that's what they want with you.
After three dates.
No, a guy that's gonna marry you knows.
But you, you, you don't, you don't know.
You need to, you need to put an appropriate,
I say appropriate amount of time before you get married.
At least a year.
Right, right.
You're saying before you actually get married.
I'm saying, she's asking, when do they know?
Like if she's asking her partner and they've been together six months and she's like,
do you see like a grand future with me?
And they're like, I'm not sure.
After, that's a red flag.
After three dates?
I'm making up three dates, but it could be.
That's what you said.
That was what your answer was.
I believe that a guy knows if he's going to marry you within
the first handful of dates.
And then it's just a matter of it, like.
100% disagree.
100%.
No, guys, no.
That's exactly the same as like, it's.
They may know.
And the answer may be no.
But if they spend more time with you, the answer may be yes.
So you can't like, and like you go out on three dates with somebody.
You really like the person.
And then she goes, so do you see a future with us?
The guy's the guy's going to go.
Yeah.
What do you mean?
Move in together?
Not yet.
But like, if you give not everybody is so brave and as confident as you.
Do you know what I mean?
That's why they're alone.
OK, well, that's that's your answer.
That's not my answer.
I give a different answer.
Give it time.
You know, and if you don't expect a guy on the third date to be ready to move in
and ready to make it official.
Are we talking a wedding or are we talking a boyfriend, girlfriend?
She just said a future.
A future, a future together.
A future means we're going to be together for years and years and years.
Yeah, yeah.
So that guy might know that.
Yeah.
My biggest advice to people, especially women in their 20s.
Yeah.
Late later part of the 20s.
I think your early 20s is for exploring.
If someone isn't sure about you, keep dating like you'll meet someone
and they will be so crazy about you.
It will be a no brainer.
Keep dating until you find that person.
If you're spending time and like giving yourself to someone like
if they're not sure, then how can you like?
No, a woman in her 20s is the most valuable asset in anyone's life.
If they don't see that, then you got to move on.
You're going to be so much happier with someone else.
I really believe that.
I think that's like when you're the most powerful version of yourself.
Don't waste it on someone that's unsure about you.
Right.
OK, well, there you go.
There's what the queen has said.
And the prince over here.
I mean, that's that's Naveen's general take with everything.
It's like very hot takey, which is why this podcast exists.
And if you want to go with Naveen, go ahead.
If you want to go with me, you can go with me and let us know.
Keep in mind, Naveen found the love of her life at 30.
Yeah.
And Jason found the love of his life at 50.
Yeah.
So who do you want to be?
Good point.
Well said.
Do you guys notice or care?
I love what you're doing.
About things like how someone dresses on a date.
Do you guys care how a woman dresses?
Yeah.
I hate to say it, but yeah.
I don't think you necessarily would not like a girl if she was just like showed up like whatever.
But doesn't it make you think someone's like a little more put together?
Here's what I say.
It's like if a girl shows up in sweatpants and she's great, you're like, oh, it's great.
But if she also like looks incredible, it's this little it factor that puts the person
over the top.
And so the fact that you were so put together the way you look, then when I would be, what
I would think about you, I'd be like, oh my God, she's this and she's that and she's this
and she's that.
And then I go, oh my God, and she dresses.
She looks so good all the time.
So I mean, while that's the sixth or seventh thing on my list.
Yeah.
It's, you're noticing.
It definitely, it definitely, it's this little thing that puts it over.
Okay.
Jason, yeah.
Do you think it matters?
This is and leave comments, guys.
What do you think on each of these topics?
She's flying today.
You're flying.
Do you think it matters if a girl sleeps with you on the first date?
Do I think it matters?
Like, well, will it change anything?
No, no, I don't think so.
Yeah.
I just said no.
You look like you're like, we're trying to change my answer.
Can we talk for a second?
That's my favorite joke.
Can I talk to you for a second?
It's so good.
I started that.
No, I think I did.
I started it amongst the friends.
I created that.
That's a, that's a J-Dog special.
Can you start calling me J-Dog, by the way?
It's not going to happen.
You've been asking me for about a year.
Guys, can somebody call me J-Dog in the comments?
Just write like, even if you say Jason sucks, just write J-Dog sucks.
That'd be great.
You know, comments, they help.
Bad comments are good.
Did you know that?
That's what I've been telling you.
Yeah.
So fire away, guys.
And it's also good if you interact.
If you interact with, um, on Instagram, especially.
Yeah.
If you interact with all the comments that you're getting, uh, it pushes you out more right now.
Push the post.
So you gotta, you gotta interact with the bad ones.
Oh, okay.
What should I say?
You suck.
Be like, oh man.
No, I don't.
What did I say?
Oh man.
That's a great response.
It's like, what?
Oh man.
Oh man, that one hurts.
That's funny.
It's just always.
No matter what you say.
It's a funny one.
This really hurts my feelings.
Yeah.
Hey, why would you say that, man?
Hey man, what's up with you?
Why are you being mean?
They'll be like, oh dude, I love you.
I was joking.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hey man, this is, it's not necessary to be mean.
Hey man, did something happen in your life today that would make you leave this mean comment?
No.
Then you're getting too serious.
Okay, okay.
I love listening to people.
I love listening to people's takes on what I should be doing.
I love it.
Okay, so go ahead.
What was the question?
Do you think it matters if someone sleeps with you on the first date?
No, it doesn't matter at all.
Why do you think?
I know you think differently.
Go ahead.
Well, like the thing is, I think if it's meant to be,
I believe in meant to be more than I believe in like rules and stuff.
But I just do think, if I'm being honest, I do think that it does matter.
It matters more for a girl.
I mean, that's true.
Like, if a girl wants to be sure that the guy like, I get it.
Like, I get it.
In other words, like, I understand.
No, I think it matters more for the guy.
I think a guy will see you in a certain way.
And once a guy, guys are very, I really believe that the way that a guy sees you at first is,
there's no changing that.
So like, if someone takes you seriously from the very beginning,
if you then sleep with them on the second date, it really doesn't matter.
If someone meets you, and they just have an idea about you, and they just think,
they already know that they kind of just want to hook up with you,
but they don't want a relationship with you.
They'll wait two weeks or three dates or whatever, hook up with you,
and still not take you seriously.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
So like, I think you just have to read, like.
Have you had that experience with friends?
Friends tell you that?
You're like, he's not calling, and I slept with him.
Yeah, I think that happens to like, a lot of people.
Or I have a lot of people that will, like, they will wait.
Why buy the milk when you can own the cow?
Wait, don't drink the milk.
What is it?
I don't do sayings.
Hey, I want to admit something to you.
Please.
Great advice, by the way.
I, while your head was down, I let out the craziest yawn about 30 seconds ago.
Yeah, and it's clearly on video.
That sucks, because a lot of the comments are like,
oh, when Naveen starts talking, Jason starts yawning.
That's an actual comment, and I started noticing it.
It's like, absolutely crazy.
You don't yawn at all when you're talking.
No, I don't yawn when I'm talking.
But guys, I swear to God, I'm so old.
I'm tired.
It's the middle of the day.
I edited the Viz podcast all day.
Okay, I edited your podcast, too.
Other people are working, like, three jobs.
Okay, okay.
They let out yawns.
No.
It's a sign of disrespect.
I've been going all day.
Jason, do you want to do this podcast another time?
I've been going, no.
No, I want more podcasts.
This is a serious podcast.
I know it's not.
No, it is.
It is not a serious podcast.
You are never serious.
This is our biggest thing, is you treat this podcast like a comedy podcast, right?
Yeah.
And you're like, smartest girl, ha, ha, ha.
This is, if one person listens to me, I'm giving life-changing advice.
I think so.
I agree.
Like, life-changing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I love what you're saying.
I could have a super serious career in psychology if I wanted,
but I just don't feel like doing that right now.
So I'm doing this.
What's something that women do that comes off as desperate on a date, on first dates?
When they go, if they bring up marriage on the first date, super desperate.
If they talk about their ex-boyfriend, super desperate, not good.
Do people talk about their ex-boyfriends on a first date?
Yeah.
I think that's something if you're in a relationship and you want to get to know someone.
No, I've had that.
I've had people do that.
On a first date, number one.
Yeah, like my abusive boyfriend, stuff like that.
You're like, all right, I'm out of here.
Yeah.
I don't want some guy knocking on my door.
When they talk about their job too much, that's a turnoff.
You know, there's a lot of things that...
Listen, when you go on a date with anybody, one thing, and I'm out.
You know what I mean?
You'll find, if there's one thing that's wrong with them, you're like, nope.
Right?
Isn't that true?
I get excited.
I love meeting new people.
Okay.
You love meeting new people.
Of course you do.
You're great at that.
And I do too.
I always loved dating.
What about second date though?
Yeah, yeah.
No, I love that.
Because then you know the person a little more.
So then it's like...
Okay, so the guy goes on the first date with you.
You're like, he's kind of cool.
And then he goes, yeah, I'm being investigated by the SEC.
What's that?
You know, it's like a financial thing.
Like when people do insider trading.
And you know, it's been kind of hard, but we're getting through it.
Anyway, this was so fun.
Do you want to get together on Friday?
Would you go back?
You know what I mean?
That's a red flag.
That's like, whoa, wait a minute.
I don't want to be involved.
Sounds like he needs a place to put some cash.
Oh, sorry.
No comedy.
What's a good way for a woman to stand out on a dating app?
Like, is it...
Do you like when people do like witty responses?
Do you think like there's certain pictures that you like?
Like what's some advice you'd give to girls on the apps to stand out?
Get with your friend and do like a Step Brothers movie poster.
It's like Tina Fey.
When I used to be on dating apps, it used to be the same five pictures from every girl.
One in Coachella.
Yeah.
One in Africa.
Every white girl.
One in Africa.
One in Coachella.
Shooting Range.
Shooting Range?
Yeah, that one I would see a lot.
DJ, DJing.
Like that was a pick I would see a lot.
And then you'd read the bio like, you're not a DJ.
You just maybe got into the booth that night, put the headphones on for a second.
I'm trying to think of other...
Oh, like Europe.
Like, you know, the canals.
That's a picture I would always see.
Eiffel Tower.
The cigarette with red lipstick.
Like trying to be very like David Lynch, like Mulholland Drive.
Like that kind of look.
You haven't seen that movie.
True.
But that style.
Isabella Rossellini.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
80s.
That's a pick I would see a lot.
What would you see?
What would you see on the men's side?
Oh, someone with a dog.
I had a...
I told Naveen that I might think of my dating problem.
I had a dog, right?
Naveen hates that.
She doesn't think a guy should hold a dog up.
I just...
I think a lot of girls like that.
This is actually really interesting.
Go, go, go.
For me, it's such a turnoff because I don't know who had like a meeting with all men.
Or like one girl went up to someone and said like,
girls like when you have a dog.
And then every guy went out and got a puppy.
And it's so late.
Or like when they...
If any sort of prompt or like writing where it's like,
okay, if you don't like me, I hope you don't just like me for my dog.
No, I don't.
I don't know your dog.
What do you think about when someone has like a crazy,
like in all caps on their dating profile,
like almost like accusatory.
Like it reads accusatory like...
Cracks me up.
No hookups.
Only long term.
Nobody with a nine to five.
Please don't have kids.
Don't waste my ******* time.
It's like, whoa.
You can feel their anger issue and you just know that they have like holes.
Yeah, in their baggage.
And they have holes in their drywall at home.
Like they've definitely punched holes in the wall.
But I always used to see like,
if you're a flake, don't bother messaging me.
I can be a little flaky.
I'll spare this one.
Yeah, no flakes.
No gold diggers.
Only real people.
Yeah.
It's just anything to...
No Trump supporters.
Anytime someone says...
Like I like when people have different...
I think you should have similarities.
But if someone believes something different than me,
I think a big turn on about a person is having a different opinion
and still keeping the peace and like being like,
oh, that's cool that you think that.
But I think this.
Yeah.
Like that's such a cool thing.
So anytime someone's like,
no this, no that, no this.
It's like, eh.
One night when I was like...
One time when I was single,
I remember seeing that Larry David was going to come and speak at the Hollywood Bowl.
And I got it into my head and I was like,
I was like, you know what?
I'm going to go to that.
You're going to meet a girl?
I'm going to meet my wife or somebody at the Kerber Enthusiasm talk or whatever it was.
It's like him on stage.
Because that's like my favorite show.
And I got into my head and I was like,
I thought it was a pretty good idea.
No?
Well, it's going to be like a Jewish woman.
Yeah, probably.
Or maybe not.
Or maybe someone...
It could have been you.
You could have been in a place like that.
You love that.
You would have gone to that.
The point is picking out something so specific and so niche that you love.
And I think that that's a really good...
Let's say you love poker.
Maybe that's a good...
You know what I mean?
Go something that you love to do
and maybe look for a partner there if you're looking.
That's not really a question, but we're going sideways.
That's good advice though.
Yeah, I still think I could have...
Might have worked.
Go next year.
Go whenever he's back.
Try it.
Please, don't ever let your wife hold you back from meeting your soulmate.
Would you rather have...
Yeah.
Ready?
You get only one.
Okay.
Have a woman who is...
A woman.
Oh, true woman.
Have a woman who is independent.
Yeah.
Or a woman who is...
Oh, sorry.
A woman who is more independent.
Yeah.
Or more nurturing.
More nurturing.
Good answer.
Jesus Christ.
Okay.
I mean, what the hell?
Am I being too funny?
No.
Don't ever worry about that.
Yeah.
I'm just kidding.
Wait, I had one I wanted to do.
I guess you kind of answered this one.
But do you care if a woman doesn't share your same hobbies or interests?
That one's kind of big.
Yeah.
Like one of my favorite things about you when I met you.
Yeah.
You like the beach.
Oh, right, right.
And I know a lot of people don't like the beach, which baffles me.
Like I get upset when people don't like the beach.
Will it keep you from being with someone?
Because I believe you were married to someone that didn't like the beach,
but you were still married.
Yes.
And it would have been nice if she liked the beach.
She's great.
Maybe you guys would still be together right now.
Maybe.
I don't know.
But maybe you guys would have a podcast.
She'd be great on the podcast.
That'd be a great episode.
People would love to see that.
So funny.
She would do it.
That would be so funny.
Yeah.
She's great.
She's funny.
She's really funny.
But no, so stuff like that is, again, going back to what we said before about
when you asked about the dressing.
It's like, it's really nice.
Really nice.
Like one of the things when you moved in, you would go on my hikes with me.
Huge.
Yeah.
Huge.
Oh, like my hike.
Well, we have this hike that I've been doing for years.
And then Naveen moved in.
And I was like, oh, yeah, you should do this hike.
It's awesome.
And then she started doing it on her own.
And then she was calling it her hike.
And I was like, oh, it's kind of.
I invented that hike.
And then she got scared to go alone.
She doesn't know anybody.
My biggest mistake was downloading Nextdoor and reading people's stories and stuff.
There's a lot of scary stuff that happens for anyone walking around by themselves as a woman.
And I don't think I realize that.
Yeah.
And snakes.
And there's snakes.
That's scary.
They are big out there.
But what do you think about hobbies?
You know that's important.
Is this just me answering?
This is like the things that girls want to know.
Oh, OK.
Yeah, girls, get into their hobbies.
I don't.
It really helps.
I think it's super important to have shared interests.
But hobbies, you can have a hobby.
What about sports?
What's your take on sports?
I don't care if someone likes sports.
Yeah.
I'm pretty easygoing.
Like, if you loved basketball.
Yeah.
Then I would go to games.
Yeah.
Or I would host a thing.
You know that's a huge part of so many guys' lives.
It's like, it's the day the game's on.
Oh, I've got to watch seven games.
It's like, whoa.
I don't get it.
Yeah.
I don't get it.
I wish I liked sports because I know it makes people really happy.
And I watch.
My friends like it.
And I'm always like, what?
You're going to sit here all day?
Yeah.
I don't think I would mind it, but I've just never.
Yeah.
What if the guy's, like, really into hunting?
I go back and forth about hunting.
Right.
I.
What if the girl's really into hunting?
My instinct is to say, that is so weird.
Yeah.
But then someone in my family is married to someone that's, like, all about hunting and stuff.
Yeah.
And he made the point to me of, like.
Yeah.
He really does use every part of the animal for something.
Like, it's not just, I think hunting for fun is crazy.
Right.
But, like, to be able, like, if anything happens, like, to be able to hunt your own food
and, like, you're actually eating what you're hunting.
Sure.
Like, that is kind of cool.
Yeah, it's really cool.
But people that are just going out and, like, shooting ducks, I think is crazy.
Yeah.
That's so scary.
Yeah.
Right?
Yeah, I mean, I couldn't.
I feel like you'd be scared of a girl hunter.
I don't know if I'd date a girl that hunts at all.
It wouldn't be my thing, but.
Yeah.
I'd love to blow on the duck call a couple times, you know.
They have that in, like, San Francisco.
That's a different thing they do in San Francisco.
Really?
Yeah, that's what they do at the K-Bars.
The duck noises?
Yeah, I don't know.
Oh.
This is perfect.
We'll end on this one.
How can I tell the difference between wanting to grow with someone and outgrowing them?
Ooh, tell me my, again, to my brain.
I feel like we're onto something, but I don't know what it is.
It's the same.
Got some smart people in the audience, huh?
The difference between wanting to grow with someone.
Right.
And outgrowing them.
Those are two different things.
Wanting to grow with someone and outgrowing them.
It's actually, it's the same thing, but so you shouldn't, what I think about this question
is, like, if you always, I always like to think about.
Explain it to me first.
So imagine you're with someone and you're in your early 20s.
Yeah.
And then you both become 30s and one of you is doing different things and you're,
you've developed a whole new personality.
You have all this life experience.
You're kind of different and you feel like you've outgrown them.
Yeah.
This person.
Okay.
I think it could be the same situation, but if you're really into the person, you grow together.
Right.
And it, and you accept someone changing.
Yeah.
That, that question makes no sense.
Like, I think they're trying to see, like, how do you know if you've like outgrown them
or if you should grow together?
Oh, so, so the question is, should I, should I stay with my guy and keep growing with him?
Even though I think I've outgrown him?
Or is it like, how do I know if I've outgrown someone?
How do I know if I've outgrown someone?
You know.
I think if you even think that.
Yeah.
If you think it at all, like, if he's not keeping up with you,
if he's like still staying, if he's stagnant, you got to get in there, girl.
And you got to poke the bear.
And you got to be like, Glenn, you got to do something with your life.
Get up, clean the room.
You got to get to come out with me more.
I want to meet new people.
I want an exciting life.
Yeah.
And that's it.
And you've outgrown them.
Then it's time to get your bags and start chopping.
Yeah.
Life is like too precious that if you feel like someone's not like growing with you.
Yeah.
Then you got to let it go.
But also, I think you have to be accepting of people.
You never hear about people outgrowing their family, right?
That's true.
You always stay with your family.
And you always love your family.
So have that same patience with people you date.
Because eventually, if you're married to someone, they'll become your family.
It doesn't have to be like you guys are exactly the same all the time.
You'll both grow and change.
That's true.
Develop.
But as long as you're committed to each other, you'll never outgrow someone.
You'll just watch them through every phase of their life and love them regardless.
Right.
So if you feel like you've outgrown him, then give him an opportunity to catch up.
Yeah.
And keep growing.
Because it is a long life and a long marriage.
And I don't know if they're married or not.
Yeah.
Well, she gave what was maybe the best question ever.
That was a nice question.
Or a little confusing.
A little confusing.
Go ahead. One more.
Let's keep going.
What's some mistakes that you think women make when they're trying to flirt?
Some mistakes that they make when they're trying to flirt.
I guess if they were to just kind of like bruise the guy's ego.
Maybe because guy's egos are pretty delicate.
So if you're like making fun of him or something.
Yeah.
Mistakes they make when they're flirting.
So are they already in a relationship or just like first-
Dating?
Like first date.
A girl's trying to flirt with you.
So like you think jokes that are like super-
Going like this?
Yeah.
Winking a lot?
That could be bad.
Are you talking about comedy?
See, I can't think of anything.
Mistakes flirting.
There's no mistakes flirting for me.
It's like if someone's even trying.
I think that's like awesome.
And then it's like, oh wow, she's into me.
Even if she takes her hand and she puts it under her armpit and makes a fart noise.
You know what I mean?
Like you'd be like, whoa, this chick's different.
You know what I mean?
That's wild.
Yeah, I don't think you can make any mistakes flirting.
Do you?
I think if you like maybe try to like jab too soon.
Be like, hey, that's a nice hat.
You look like a ******* moron.
Something like that.
Like, you know, that's a little abrasive if you don't know the person.
But flirting, flirt with me right now.
Go.
What's flirting?
Your eyes are so beautiful.
Yeah, that, that, that would be incredible.
If somebody, if you said that on our first date, like I'd be like, oh, whoa.
Well, thanks.
You're, you're Stu.
I mean, I don't think there's anything.
You're good at flirting though.
You're like, I don't even know when I'm flirting.
I know you don't know when you're flirting.
I see when you're flirting.
Oh, stop.
That's ridiculous.
Objection.
Overruled.
One time, Jason was, let me tell you about a time that my husband flirted.
With who?
We were, uh, stuck at the airport once.
Oh my God.
Because our, our plane had went down because a flight attendant had a seizure on Jason.
That sounds like it's a made up story, but it is true.
I'm on the flight.
I'm sitting there.
She goes diet Pepsi.
And I go, yeah, sure.
I'm like, don't thank you so much.
And she brings a diet Pepsi over and she goes like this.
She puts the, uh, Pepsi out.
She just holds it.
And I go, I go, I go, okay, I'm ready.
I'm ready for the diet Pepsi.
Like I'm ready to grab it.
Yeah.
And she just locks in and looks at me.
Like that.
And then I start to like, kind of pull it out of her hand, but she's not letting go.
And I'm like, I got it.
I'm like, I got, this is what I did.
I got it.
I got it like that.
She's not letting go.
And then all of a sudden she just face plants in the middle of the aisle.
So scary.
And, uh, she had a, uh, seizure.
It's because she saw your beautiful eyes.
And then I scream, is there a doctor?
So then I came up.
Which is terrible.
Like, you know, on a plane.
It's so scary.
It's just awful.
And so we had to do an emergency landing.
Yeah.
In Dallas or Houston or something.
And then we were like, everyone on the plane is like in the airport and they don't really
know what to do.
She was fine, by the way.
She was okay.
She was fine.
Um, but they had to like find another flight attendant or something.
So like, we were all like just waiting.
Yeah.
And Jason finds.
The like.
United.
We're trying to find another flight on any airlines.
We're running through the airport trying to jump on a flight.
And so a lot of people on our plane are doing the same thing.
And Jason fine.
Jason has like a way older women, older women at Trader Joe's, like wherever we are, like
there's a specific type of woman.
It's like a very California, like blonde, kind of leathery, looks like life's been a
little tough, but you can tell she has money.
That type of woman goes apeshit for Jason's look.
They like see his look and they're like, oh, like there's something about.
No, it's a specific type of woman.
I always know.
And Jason picks her out because he knows.
And he goes up to her and he's like, so like you're looking for a flight too.
And she's like, yeah, like, I don't know what I'm going to do.
And Jason goes, you look like the type of woman that has a private jet.
First of all, she, I didn't say that.
I was like, she had a husband.
No, she was there by herself.
No, she had a guy with her.
She had a guy my age with her.
That was clearly her husband or brother or something.
Boy toy.
Her boy toy.
Cause he was handsome.
And I know we were at the counter.
They told us no.
And, and she goes, she goes, this is my memory of it.
She goes, she goes, she goes, we're going to, we're going to get a, we're going to try
to get a private plane to LA.
She says that now, now, now she does.
She goes, we're going to get a private plane.
We're going to get up.
We're going to.
And I said, and I actually made that joke after you had said you're like, cause she
was like, well, what are we supposed to do?
And then you were like, oh, you, well, you look like the type of person that would have
a private plane.
If anything, I look like the type of person that could find a private plane.
I didn't say that.
I didn't say you look like that.
I said, I said, I said something like, do you have a, do you have a jet or something
like that?
I'm trying to get you and I home.
So I'm like sucking up to this lady.
Like, you know, when someone's body language, like Jason, like gave me body language, like,
oh, get away from me.
Young, young thing.
I'm going older right now.
You're doing it right now.
He said no comedy.
He wanted to get home.
He was willing to.
Yeah.
I would have ditched you.
I would have left you in Houston.
I'm literally, I don't remember exactly, but she mentioned that she was having a plane
and I said, can we jump on the plane with you?
And I said it like jokingly, like, Hey, can we jump on the plane with you guys?
Like, and I said it like jokingly, which when you know, sometimes when you make the joke
and someone will be like, yeah, sure.
Jump on.
Cause I was just trying to get us home.
Yeah.
So yeah.
Interesting guys.
Next topic for next week is go with, you guys should watch the show with your partner.
And then you guys can think of a story.
Why don't you give somebody a challenge at home for the week?
That's a good one.
Yeah.
Give, give a single person a challenge.
Or I also feel like you're, you're shutting out the people with relationships.
Maybe you should throw a little bone to the people with relationships.
Sure.
If you are in a relationship.
Don't say it all sexy.
And you want to open it up.
No.
If you, what do you mean?
Like what kind of bone?
I don't know.
I, I was onto something and I completely forgot.
Um, hold on to your loved one.
Yeah.
Oh, I know what I was going to say.
I was going to say, I think that's a fun game to play is like, if you're in a relationship,
like see if you have a story that you both remember two different ways.
Oh, right.
Yeah.
That was what I was going to say.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
Sorry.
That's, that's actually really funny.
Didn't someone make a movie like that?
It was like the girl's perspective and then.
Oh, I don't know.
Yeah.
It sounds like a good movie.
Naveen's been hot with the movie pics lately.
She picked this movie out the other night with Kirsten Wiig.
So good.
Kristen Wiig.
Kristen?
Kirsten?
I think Kristen.
Kirsten.
I think it's just Kristen.
Kristen.
That's a, not a good name.
It's a good name.
Kristen.
It's too.
It is a little.
Not nice.
But anyway, she picked this movie out that I've never heard of before.
And I'm so starved for a good comedy.
And it was really good.
What was it called?
Someone like me.
Welcome to me.
And it's like a movie that no one saw.
Adam McKay produced it.
It's so funny.
And it's funny as hell.
It's such a good character.
Yeah.
And then you picked out another one that was good.
But it wasn't as good as that.
I don't remember my second.
I mean, I don't know how you make a movie like that.
And no one sees it.
No one knows about it.
That one's crazy because.
And there's good people in it.
She's pretty.
She's a big actress.
And she's a big star.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like she's someone, if she's in something, I'll just see it.
Cause I know it'll be good.
Yeah.
Maybe these movies, they have more.
But she was also in something with Bill Hader.
That I never saw.
That I never saw, which is weird because I love, like, I like really like both of them.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Yeah.
Hot pick.
Naveen's hot movie picks.
Let's, we can do that here on this show too.
I'm good at picking movies sometimes.
Anyway, well, listen, this podcast is on fire.
Smartest girl in the world.
Go check it out.
We're going to have a Clips channel up soon, hopefully.
And my dear, you're doing amazing work helping the people.
Thank you.
And I would never leave you.
I wouldn't.
Okay.
Thank you for watching.
Okay.
Bye-bye.
And we always do our same sign-off here.
We do?
Yeah.
Toodaloo.
Ready?
And toodaloo, boo-boos.
I don't like boo-boos.
I don't like that.
Okay.
Let's take it again.
We should have a sign-off though, right?
Oh, and remember.
Hugs, not jugs.
No, jugs.
Oh, jugs, not hugs.
And remember.
I like that start.
Okay.
And remember, we love you guys.
