Centerpartiet vill stoppa ”orimliga utvisningar” – presenterar fem nya migrationsförslag

Centerpartiet aims to halt what it describes as unreasonable deportations and has presented five new proposals it believes can unite broad consensus in the Riksdag The core of the proposal is to reintroduce the possibility of staying on compassionate grounds so that young people who have grown up in Sweden are not deported upon turning 18 The party also wants children born in Sweden to be able to apply for their own residence permits here and for individuals who have switched from asylum to work to be able to renew their permits without leaving the country The proposals are highlighted as a step toward a more restrained yet still reasonable migration policy We believe what's needed now is for the Riksdag to actually review our proposals and say this is the only reasonable option The reality is that right now teenagers who contribute and pay taxes who pay their own CSN are being deported Nothing currently on the table will stop it in reality which is precisely why we want a different framework than the one we have today And the government has only said it wants to delay the deportation until the student cap is on So when you order a student cap you receive a deportation order the moment you wear the student cap—there's no practical difference It's quite extensive—five different proposals How quickly could this be implemented It varies—some are quick others take longer and were very clear about that
