Hey everyone, it's Hendash. Welcome back to my YouTube channel. For today's video,
I am joined with the stunning Eduarda. Now, as soon as I saw Eduarda, I was really excited to
think of so many different looks to do on her. But as my model for the first time,
I really wanted to take it back to basics and just do this beautiful enhanced glam.
She is definitely going to be back on my channel for more experimental looks, but she just has
this really beautiful skin tone that I just wanted to dive into this really beautiful,
perfectly enhanced makeup. I'm starting off with the Hourglass Illusion Priming Moisturizer.
If you followed me for a while, you know I love priming moisturizers. I just believe in them a
bit more than the very mattifying ones. There is a time and place. I am very oily myself,
so if I were to pick a primer, naturally, I would definitely go for more of a matte primer.
But based off of experience, I feel like they just never keep you matte for a long time. They
your skin starts breaking them down. So what I really believe in is a hydrating primer that
really just nourishes the skin. And that way your makeup looks better as soon as you apply it and
just stays looking more fresh. It kind of makes sense because if your skin is nourished and
hydrated, it's just going to kind of carry on that vibe throughout the day. And then you can
always touch up with a bit of powder or with blotting. I kind of like that idea more. Then
I'm applying a thick layer of the Summer Fridays Lip Balm. This is the Toasted Marshmallow. I think
this is Holiday. For a bronzing, balm, contour situation, I found the Simi Haze ones beautiful
in terms of undertone. So they do have quite an olive-y one called Maple. And I'm mixing it with
the Darker Mahogany to really match Edwarda's skin tone. And what's really beautiful about
Edwarda's skin tone is that she's this true intense olive, which is really fun to work with.
And for brushes, I'm using Toolbox Beauty. And this is a brand by Hrush, an old friend of mine. So
shout out to Hrush. They are stunning, stunning brushes. I'm kind of mixing the two shades and
just working it into the skin as my first makeup step. I kind of want to see how things are blending
in and how I'm evening out the skin before complexion, before covering the skin with any
type of complexion. Because I think when it comes to Edwarda's skin, really mapping out the different
tones and colors are very important. Looking through my entire library and makeup wardrobe
for Olive Tone Foundations was quite interesting because we need more. We definitely need more. And
as a makeup brand founder and, you know, just makeup lover in general and a makeup artist, I
really get excited when I work with skin that I feel like I could add something more to. I settled
on the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint. I think she really nailed this color. It's a beautiful olive. This is
and I'm starting off at the center of the face because that's where Edwarda is naturally lighter
and that's where you can really see that true olive peek through. So I'm just really buffing
it into the skin and really working it in. And, you know, this is a beautiful skin tint with
actually beautiful coverage. If you haven't tried the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint, I really highly
recommend it. It does what it says it does and even more. So definitely one of my top, top skin
And as always, take it down the neck and just tap into the skin for that really beautiful finish.
Now, because I was going through my entire library, I did find this Kryolan Digital Skin
Cream Foundation Palette, and I'm just testing out a few shades in the center of the skin.
Honestly, this doesn't make a big difference because I do go in with concealers,
but I think I was really just figuring out what tones and what undertones I really want to go for.
So, I mean, this is beautiful. It just melted instantly into her skin. So the colors were
incredible. And I could have stopped there if I want that very natural look, but to bump it up a
bit more, I am going to be going in with the Hourglass Concealers, which again, stunning
shade range, really interesting undertones too, to really match the vibe that I'm going for. I did
use quite a few different shades because I really wanted to kind of match and pinpoint different
things. So maple, mocha, and clove were all used. Everything will be listed in the description box,
so you can have a look, but I definitely wanted that brighter, olivey under eye, because again,
I'm going to be doing blush. I'm going to be doing more bronzer and a few things, and it's really
going to mesh well. So taking the time to really buff and tap this in and understand all these
different undertones. There were times where I had to step back and see if I'd went a bit too bright
or if I needed to neutralize a few things, because I didn't want to go overboard, but I still wanted
to create that perfected look. And this is the darkest concealer that I'm going in with. I'm
going to be buffing and tapping it in mixed in with that first shade. So not relying on it on
its own. And this is mainly going around the mouth and any areas where she is naturally darker. So
without going around the mouth with a completely brighter concealer and making it look a bit weird,
I want to just introduce that neutralization bit by bit, so we do retain this beautiful harmony.
And that applies to the forehead as well. The forehead can be very tricky and you can get a
bit ashy, especially when you have such different undertones. You want to really start between the
brows and then go very carefully up and out when you're blending into the hairline. You almost don't
want to put any product into the hairline. For brows, I'm going to brush them up and just see
what shape we are going to be working with. She has naturally beautiful, beautiful brows. I want
to keep that youthful, bushy, almost undone brow. And with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Micro Stroke
Brow Pen, I am going to be starting at the end of the brow and just fill in the gaps and extend
the shape and seeing how accentuated I want the brows to be. Sometimes I'll go in with a brow
pencil and then end with a brow pen. But for this look and for Eduardo, I felt that that would be
too overpowering and that, you know, the focal point might go straight to her eyebrows because
she has such a beautiful shape and it's easy to kind of overdo them. And that's why I settled on
just the brow pen. And take your time brushing and fluffing them through so that you don't see any
harsh lines. Now, when I said as a beauty founder, I'm very excited to be working with different
undertones and to really, you know, work on different people and seeing what's missing.
These are cream blushes that I'm working on. They are not the final formula, but they are colors
that I've hand mixed myself. So I am very excited. And I'm taking that deeper muted cherry shade
and applying that as blush, tapping into the skin and really melting in that concealer with the base
color so that you don't see any harsh lines. And it kind of has a seamless blend of this deeper
cherry into that olive-y base, which is so, so beautiful. I love this combination. I love a good
cherry. And then when it comes to eyeshadow, I am taking my Color Fluid in the shade Thorn,
which is one of my all-time favorite chocolate browns. And with a fluffier, dense brush, almost
like a pencil brush, I am going to be focusing on the outer corners and contouring the eye.
So I think the main goal with this is to create a contour and not just a flat color all over the
lids. These are super easy to blend and you have some playtime with them. So you can really go into
the socket and create different shapes and blend and smoke them out. Nothing too precise, just that
beautiful hazy contour. And again, once they set, they are going to be budge-proof and they will not
move. So they make perfect eyeshadow bases as well. Go underneath the lower lash line for that
definition. And that's Color Fluid done. For shadows, I'm taking my Hindash Monochromance palette,
which is another baby of mine. And I am going to be taking the shade Match Made, which has that
beautiful mustard-y, olive-y, yellow-y and ochre. And that is the perfect color for Eduarda. And I'm
applying that on the center of the lid, just for that 90s contoured eye. And as you can see, it brightens,
but it doesn't look ashy because it does have that yellow, olive-y undertone. And it really matches
the vibe. A touch underneath the brow with whatever's left to create that soft highlight.
And then I can blend in with the brown that's in the same gradient pan and just really melt
everything in and diffuse and blend. And if you're not familiar with my gradient palettes, they are
that really soft, almost sheer powder that can be built and can be layered. And it doesn't look
cakey or dry. They just have that seamless skin-like quality to them, which make them the perfect,
versatile, everywhere type of powder pigment. And for a touch of definition, I am going to
be taking my Itone pencil in Intra. Again, the perfect chocolate brown. And I'm going to be
lining her eyes. Eduarda has these stunning almond eyes that need to be accentuated. So lining all
throughout. With the Darker Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, this is the shade Volume 3.
I don't necessarily want to use a specific highlighter or a specific shadow topper. So I
am just going to be working with what I'm using on the rest of the face, which is this palette,
to keep that even colour harmony going on. So taking the strobe shade, I think, in the palette,
which is the more highlight-y one, I'm applying that all over the lids. And if you want to keep
a totally matte look, you can skip this, which honestly, I think it looked really beautiful
totally matte as well. But I did want to explore with more dimension and see, you know,
what I can do without adding a ton of glitter or a ton of shimmer metallic. And I do really
love this. The mascara I've been really, really loving is the Hourglass Unlocked Mascara because
it just adds that beautiful length without any of the clumps. So no clumps and just all this
beautiful length and separation, which I am very into. And with my Hindash Hero Line Eyeliner,
I am going to be creating my signature wing on Edwarda. Nothing too intense, just really
defining and enhancing the eye, which is just going to look even more beautiful on Edwarda
because her eyes naturally carry that definition. But with that eye shape, I feel like it becomes
very tricky and can be very overdone because you do naturally have that lifted, defined eye. So
if you do thicker lines, it can actually overpower it and do the reverse. So you really want to be
looking ahead every now and then to just see where things are going, if you're not going too far
out or too far up, generally keeping the center of the lid more thin and going all throughout to
define the lash line, but in different thicknesses. And then once you have that clean definition,
it really has that beautiful, beautiful effect that just, you know, you can't, you can't compare.
It's just that classic eyeliner that never goes out of style. For powder blush, I'm going to be
taking this NARS Blush in the shade Obsession. I was really on the fence about what color blush
I want to do on Edwarda. I wanted to avoid very purpley tones because I feel like this peachy one
layered on top of that cherry blush just adds that stunning warmth that is so multi-dimensional
and you can't really pinpoint what color it is. And that's exactly the color that I wanted.
A touch more of the brighter Hourglass Concealer just to really make that center more seamless.
I always add as I go and see what I'm missing, especially after blush and certain steps.
It's nice to reassess certain parts of your makeup routine and steps, which really helps tie
everything in together as well. And blend in with a damp beauty blender. For powder, I am going to
be going in with the Hourglass Veil Translucent Powder and this is in the shade Translucent Deep.
I remember using this powder all the time when it came out and it is such a great powder for dry skin
and mature skin. I really love this. I'm taking it on a fluffier brush to really create that
control where I want it and buff and blend it out and really, you know, really work it into the skin
after you've applied it for that ultimate skin-like feel. Before doing lips, I'm contouring
with the darker shade of that Simi Haze Bronzer again and I think that was in the shade Mahogany.
Just the top lip and the bottom lip to really further extend that shape up and softly blend
the edges. Edwarda has such a beautiful lip tone that I didn't want to overpower it with a lot of
brown lip liner. So this type of technique is perfect if you have two-toned lips or if you have
really bright pink lips and you kind of don't want to take that away but you still want that
definition. Great. I'm also going to be trying the Simi Haze product and this is the Color Glaze
Lip and Cheek Pigment. This is in the shade Lily. It's sort of a glossy color bomb. I'm applying it
to the center of the lips to see what is happening and if I like this effect and I think it looks
really, really beautiful. I just want to tone it down a touch more so I am going to be going over
it with that brush that I contoured with. And taking this Mom Beauty Lip Pencil, this is a
browny mahogany wine color which works great with the tones that we've done so far. It is going to
leave that pinky wine color once we blend it out so it will be perfect for this lip. Nothing too
much, just define the lip slightly. Now that I see where the direction of the lip is going and
I'm a bit more confident in lining and seeing where I want that sharpness going on around the
lips. For even more color contrast and dimension, I decided to top it off with this caramel gloss
and this is the NARS Afterglow Lip Shine Gloss in the shade Nympho. I just think there's something
so beautiful about topping a shimmery pink or a shimmery color base with almost like a milky gloss
on top. It creates this intense, intense definition and people will be like, what's on your lips?
And then you have to explain all the steps but it's going to be really beautiful and just every
way you turn it's going to look like your lips are lit from within. Finishing off the face and
the cheeks with that Hourglass palette again to add a hint of bronze, to add a hint of sheen
and just make it look perfected, which is what this palette does best. It's a great finishing
palette. If you feel like you've overdone blush or you feel like you haven't blended certain areas,
the Hourglass palettes are really great for that and just swirl throughout the entire palette
and just go over all the edges. I'm taking that shimmery highlight shade and adding
some underneath the lower lash line to really just add that soft light effect, which I felt was
a bit missing in the look, and blend so there aren't any harsh edges. And now that I'm happy
with everything, I'm going to be setting with the Laura Mercier setting spray. This is the
Ultra Blur 24-Hour Hydrating Setting Spray, which has that beautiful continuous mist. And now Edouard
is ready for her enhanced, seamless look. Very monochromatic, very anywhere, anytime, any day
type of look. Can't go wrong. We're pairing this look with a few glasses from Gentle Monster because
we did a beautiful colored liner for the Gentle Monster collection, which you should check out on
Instagram. But I really hope you enjoyed this video with Edouard, and let me know what you
think in the comments down below, and I will see you very soon. Bye!
