Greg Abbott refuses to keep our children safe Beto for Texas

I am a father of a teacher. My daughter is an elementary school teacher. And I think that Governor Abbott totally dropped the ball. When you make insensitive statements like it could have been worse, horrible, horrible statement for families that lost their children in this massacre. And so for me, my daughter being in the classroom, I think about what are the solutions? Greg Abbott has refused to lift a finger to save the lives of those kids there or anywhere else around the state. 16 weeks and not a thing has changed for my kids or yours to make it any less likely that they will meet the same fate as those in Uvalde, those at Santa Fe High School. So when we win, we raise the age of purchase for an AR-15 to 21. We have a red flag law so we can intervene before it's too late. And a universal background check on every gun purchase in the state of Texas. For me tonight, chief among all of the issues, that one hit home, it's personal. So to all the fathers out there with children, cast this vote for your children, for your familia.
