A delicious tropical treat for you today. I am in Padang Padang on Bali's Bukit Peninsula. This is a modern yogi's tropical paradise. I can't wait to show you inside. So come on, let's go. Where is this? Your very own yoga studio in your home. I mean, why not? How beautiful is this wall mural? I love this as soon as you walk into the home. And this, this cool crocodile dude, he's all right, he can stay. But wait, there's more. Hello, hammock of my dreams. This, I think, is probably where I would hang out the most. And then look at that view. Look at what you're looking out onto. Chill out here. Love it. And how awesome is your open plan living dining, complete with peacock throne, because everybody needs to know what it's like to be royalty. I love it. Look at this dining table. Beautiful kitchen. I love the colour of this bed shop. This is amazing. Ooh, hello. Pineapple. Can we go upstairs? Oh my gosh, look at that view. That view is amazing. And then looking out onto that beautiful chevron floor. We've got a cute little desk space. It would be very hard to work here, but desk space, chill out area. And what have we got here? Heaven. Look at this incredible bedroom. Look at that view. It's a beautiful view to wake up to. Oh my gosh. Bathtub heaven. Oh my gosh, it's pink. It's terrazzo. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh, and it's so deep. Oh, I love it. Oh my God, I love it. This might win best bathtub. That's a big call. I love the contrast of the tiles. Oh my God, this is amazing. Okay. Okay, that is a difficult one to get out. Oh my God, and look at this shower. Those incredible tiles, that beautiful color. Oh my gosh. How's the serenity? Amazing. Okay, let's go back in. Another bedroom. This is gorgeous. I love the beautiful soft color in here. Very twinkle. Bit of a surfers paradise. I love it. Oh, got a beautiful blush terracotta tile going on here. Very different vibe from the first one. Another bedroom. Love the color things going on in here. Oh, looking out onto another beautiful view. Oh my gosh, this is so, so peaceful. Blue bathroom this time. And I've despised something cool. How is the view? This is a beautiful wind tunnel up here. Go back down. Guest bedroom. This is cool. You can have a lot of people staying in here. I like this. Look at this bathroom. Oh my God, love the floor to ceiling and ceiling. Mirror in here. This is incredible. This is fun. And ah, outdoor shower. I mean, it wouldn't be complete without it. Okay then, have a surf, have a swim. Rinse off. All right, let's go inside. Well, isn't this house a cool drink of water? I told you it was a tropical modern yogi's paradise and I'm right, this is a fun yogi. This is someone that's down to dog, but also down to party. It's got that beautiful dedicated yoga space, all about tranquil relaxation. But then you come in here and it's just an entertainer's paradise and I love it. It's so much fun. There is just so much of a healthy balance here. It is just an incredible fun and happy home. The thing that hits you as soon as you walk in, first of all, just the size, the pool, the beautiful colors, the garden, that wall mural as soon as you come in is just heaven. It's modern, it's fun, it's fresh. And then a yoga studio. There's a yoga studio in the home. I mean, I've always said when I build my home, I'm gonna have a yoga studio. I've never said that, but now I do. This is incredible. I think it's fantastic. I love that it's not hidden away either. I love that it's just open and it also doubles as a dance floor, so winning. And that hammock, oh my God, that double-sized hammock is beautiful. There's such a lovely breeze coming through there. It is so peaceful, just lying there, looking out over into the beautiful pool. It's just heaven on earth. And then this kitchen, dining and living is awesome. So the flooring is really, really fun. It's this beautiful terrazzo chevron pattern. It's got these wonderful flecks of turquoise. It reflects, again, the greenery that's going on in the nature and the surrounds. It's just, oh, I love it. The decor is fantastic. All of these pieces have been sourced locally. They've all been custom-made. That beautiful dining table is just heaven. The incredible timbers match with the beautiful rattan. And there's just lovely, soft pops of colors here, there, and everywhere. It's done really, really well. It's nothing over the top, but there's lovely hints of color. Speaking of color, oh, the color in the bathrooms are awesome. So each bedroom in each bathroom has its own little color scheme, and I love that. Each one feels a little bit different. It's a little bit of a different slice of paradise. Tiles in the bathrooms, each with different shapes, each with different colors. I think that's really clever. And, oh my God, that bathtub! That bathtub is absolutely insane. That was actually poured here on site. The owner did a lot of work to get that pink just right, and it is just the right type of pink. It is so, so good. Normally, I wouldn't be down with a pink tub, but that is an awesome tub. The terrazzo tub matches the terrazzo floor. There's a bit of terrazzo going on everywhere, and I love it. It's not too over the top, but it's just the right amount. I mean, can you ever have too much? Nah, you can't. This house is basically all open plan, which is pretty much what Bali is all about. I mean, there's not much point in shutting everything off unless you've just got your air conditioning blasting all day. But if you have everything open, you've got a lot of beautiful breeze coming through, and it really helps to cool down that space. This home has a really modern, chilled, surfy vibe to it, but it also has a lot of traditional Bali elements as well. It's got this incredible pitch thatched roof, which is just divine. It's got incredible carved timber detailing, as well as these beautiful printed textiles and wonderful colors throughout. These amazing fabrics, which Bali really is known for. A lot of these were made locally in Ubud and in surrounding areas. And I love that the owner has celebrated a bit of that modern, but has also reflected a lot of that traditional Bali decor as well. Those beautiful murals, which is actually a friend of the owner's, came in from LA, and she painted those amazing murals that you see in the bathroom and also in that yoga studio as well. You can tell that the owner is really well-traveled because there are just these beautiful pieces that have been collected throughout, both pieces from Bali, but also other parts of the world as well. There's just incredible personal touches littered around. Everything has a story. Everything has a place. And I think that's really lovely. This home is just the ultimate surfer's paradise.
