I was hoping to get this out sooner, but our Winter weather affected my internet service, so I had an unavoidable delay.
There are numerous YouTube videos already posted giving a page-by-page accounting of the catalog. I decided to do it a bit differently, and I have organized the catalog by item type for this summary. I hope you find it useful!
P.S. I have not included track, transformers, battery-operated trains, or non-train items in this summary. Also, I skipped the J1E Vision Line Hudsons because they were previously announced in their own catalog in late 2024.

Toy Train Tips And Tricks is a channel devoted to the operation, repair, history, and collecting of classic 3-rail O and O27 gauge trains made by Lionel, Marx, K-Line, Menards, and other manufacturers.
And here it is, the Lionel 2025 Volume 1 Big Book Catalog. I was hoping to get this video out sooner,
but winter weather affected my internet service, so I had an unavoidable delay. There are numerous
YouTube videos already out there giving a page-by-page accounting of the catalog,
so I decided to do mine a little differently, and I've organized the catalog by item type
for this summary, and I hope you find it useful. So let's start with steam locomotives for individual
sale. And the first one, of course, that we come across is the brand new Vision Line Commodore
Vanderbilt Hudson. These steamers will operate on 054 and wider radius curves, and they all come
with a list price of $1799.99. The available options are a gold-plated Joshua Lionel Cohen
version for the 125th anniversary, a number 2025 125th anniversary edition, a number 265E in red
with an available four-pack of pre-war style passenger cars for $1099.99 for the passenger
cars. We also have a number 265E pre-war throwback in blue with available matching four-pack of
passenger cars. The cars are again $1099.99. We have the traditional New York Central version with
spoked drivers. We have the New York Central version with Baldwin disc drivers. We have the
Halloween Flying Dutchman version. We have the Polar Express, and we have the North Pole Central.
Next, we come across the new Legacy Scale S2 Turbine. This is not your grandfather's post-war
turbine. This is a scale model with all of the Legacy bells, whistles, and visual features. These
steamers operate on 072 and larger curves, and come with a list price of $1399.99. Available
models are the number 671 Pennsylvania post-war throwback, the Pennsylvania number 6200 in
as-built configuration, Pennsylvania 6200 with smoke lifters added, Pennsylvania 6200 in the
Raymond Loewy-inspired scheme, Pennsylvania 6200 in a Tuscan red scheme, and some fantasy versions,
the C&O The Chessy version, and the Southern Pacific Daylight version, as well as a Baldwin
Demonstrator version. Next to the Legacy line is the 442A6 Atlantic. These models will navigate
031 and larger radius curves. They come with a list price of $999.99. There is one variation as
a throwback to the Scout locomotives of the late pre-war and up to today. One of the models is
numbered 1684, one of the pre-war numbers, and comes as a 242 instead of as a 442. Calling this
a Scout locomotive to me is a bit of a stretch, but that's the idea. The others available in 442
configuration and road name specific details are Ann Arbor, Santa Fe, C&O, Chicago and Alton,
Burlington, and Erie. Still in the Legacy line is the brand new Legacy Heisler. These models will
navigate 031 and larger curves and come with a list price of $1699.99. Available models include
Blue Jay Lumber, Clearwater Timber, Juniata Railroad, Middle Fork Railroad, Weyerhaeuser
Lumber, and U.S. Signal Corps. Now in the Lion Chief 2 Plus line we have a Pacific 462. These
models will navigate 031 and wider radius curves and come with a list price of $699.99. To me,
the casting somewhat resembles the post-war 2046 Hudson, but here it is as a Pacific. Available
models include an Angela Trotta Thomas number 1900, a B&O decorated as the President Monroe,
a Reading Crusader, Texas and Pacific, and Western Pacific. And rounding out our separate sale
steam locomotives is the Lion Chief 080. These models will navigate 031 and larger curves
and come with a list price of $239.99. Available road names are Southern, Northern Pacific,
Union Pacific, and B&O in blue. Now separate sale diesel locomotives we start with the Legacy
ES44AC. These are available in powered versions for $749.99 each and non-powered versions with
no electronics, no super bass sound for $429.99. These models will navigate 054 and wider radius
curves. Available road names include Florida East Coast, CSX Atlantic Coastline Heritage,
CSX Western Maryland Heritage, CSX Family Lines Heritage, CSX New York Central Heritage,
CSX RF&P Heritage, Norfolk Southern Conrail Heritage, Norfolk Southern Interstate Heritage,
Norfolk Southern Nickel Plate Heritage, Norfolk Southern Norfolk Southern Heritage,
Norfolk Southern Southern Heritage, and the new CPKC and Canadian National models.
Next in the Legacy line is the new Legacy Train Master. Again, this is not your grandfather's
post-war train master. This is a scale model in the Legacy line with added features. These
models will navigate 054 and larger curves and come with a list price of $649.99. Available
road names include Central New Jersey, Chicago and Northwestern, Milwaukee Road, Pennsylvania,
Reading, and Southern Pacific. Also in the Legacy line is a GP35. Again, with railroad-specific
details. These models will navigate 031 and larger curves and come with a list price of $649.99.
Available models include Santa Fe, Great Northern with a strobe, Chesey Systems C&O, Housatonic,
Illinois Central Gulf either with or without dynamic brakes, and Wabash. Also in the Legacy
diesel line is the SD40T-2 Tunnel Motor Diesel. These will navigate 031 and larger curves and
come with a list price of $699.99. Again, with road-specific details. We have Bessemer and Lake Erie,
Canadian National, Rio Grande, Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, Wheeling and Lake Erie, Rio Grande,
Wheeling and Lake Erie, Union Pacific, and for $50 more there is a special Southern Pacific
version with Union Pacific tags and fading lettering for $749.99. Wrapping up the Legacy
line is the Legacy FA-2 AA set. These again are not your post-war FAs. These are Legacy line with
added features and details. The AA set retails for $1199.99 or you can get a separate powered
B unit for $549.99 or a B unit with super base also for $549.99. These models will navigate 031
and larger curves. Available road names include Santa Fe, B&O Sunburst, CP Rail, Chicago and
Now in the Lion Chief 2.0 Plus series, we have F3 AA sets with a powered A unit, a dummy A unit
for $899.99 or a separate powered B unit for $499.99. These models will navigate 031 and larger

Pullman cars for $599.99, add-on set number two two more Pullmans for $599.99, and in New York Central
Buffalo East diner with station sounds for $499.99 or Michigan Central Buffalo West
