Okay, I have to warn you… my kitchen is a little messy. But honestly? That's what makes this video SO good for learning Spanish. The messier the kitchen, the more vocabulary we get to learn! 😅
I'm taking you on a full tour of my real, lived-in kitchen so you can hear everyday Spanish the way it's actually spoken while learning focused vocabulary — no textbooks, no boring drills, just natural conversation.
This is Comprehensible Input Spanish at its best — real speech, real vocabulary, real life. Whether you're just starting out or pushing toward intermediate, this is the kind of listening practice that actually makes Spanish stick.
💬 Cuéntame en los comentarios: ¿Dejas los platos sucios remojando o los lavas inmediatamente? And have you ever tried mole poblano? 👇

Hello friends welcome to my kitchen
My kitchen is a bit messy but that's better
because a messy kitchen has more vocabulary than a clean one
So let's make the most of this We'
ll start with the refrigerator This
is where we store our food You need
to open the door to see what's inside
Okay milk The milk is cold
There's fruit
There's bread
Do you keep the bread in the fridge
"Fridge" is another way of saying refrigerator
It's a shortened form
Refrigerator
There are grapes
There are many containers with
food They're leftovers
These leftovers have been in the fridge for a few days
Every morning I see them and
say today I don't want to eat
leftovers Tomorrow Tomorrow I'll
eat them And tomorrow never comes
Please don't criticize
me I know you do the same
thing This is jam and it's
in a small container Small
The refrigerator is large
The container is small
As a good Mexican I have a variety of salsas
But the most essential
one which should never be missing is the valentina
A respected Mexican has valentina at home I have other salsas too
I have barbecue sauce
This is my current obsession
It's honey with a spicy kick
Spicy honey
I have Chinese and Japanese sauces
There's a little bit of everything
Recently I went to Puebla and brought back mole poblano
This one is special because it has sesame Sesame are those tiny
little seeds you see here It's usually
used as a garnish on top of mole
In this case the mole has sesame seeds mixed into the paste
And it tastes incredibly delicious
Honestly this is my favorite
Let me know in the comments if you've tried mole poblano
Okay enough with the fridge tour
Let's move on
The stove
This is the stove
We use the stove for cooking
The stove has one two three four five burners
As you can see there's a burner I use more than the others
It's my favorite
Sometimes when I'm making pasta the water starts boiling over and spills all over here
I don't notice and end up messing everything up creating a mess
You can also see it needs a good cleaning
I think the kitchen is the hardest part of the
house to keep clean because you use it constantly
And not only that but the food splatters bounces slips from your
hands and leaves stains everywhere It ends up scattered all over
The other burners are decent
There's a frying pan above the stove
The frying pan is made of stainless steel
I use it for frying food
I don't like making eggs here because they stick easily
But things like chicken and meat I do those in this skillet
This is the sink
There are small dishes and large dishes
There are two frying pans
There's a dishwasher in this kitchen but I hardly ever use it
I only use the dishwasher when there are lots of dirty dishes
This is the key
Water flows from the tap to wash the dishes
A large plate is soaking
I'll wash it later
You need soap and a sponge to wash the dishes
Scrub the dishes with the sponge to remove the dirt
Then rinse them with water
Wipe it clean with your hand to make sure it's spotless
You can dry the plate if you'd like with a kitchen towel or a napkin
I prefer drying myself with a towel to avoid wasting paper
These are the cabinets You
store things in the cabinets You
keep plates cups and glasses in
them The cabinets have shelves
This is my favorite mug for coffee
I open the cabinet doors to retrieve items
I close the cabinet doors when I'm done
I open the drawer where I keep spoons forks knives and also ladles
This is the oven
There are two ovens one small and one large The
oven is used for baking cakes chicken vegetables and various other items
This is the little oven a small oven little oven
I use it to warm bread or small portions of food
To use the oven you typically preheat it You
turn it on ahead of time
So this is my kitchen
