Shin Yubin vs Wang Yidi | WS QF | #WTTChongqing 2026

Loved it from Xinyubin. Did you see the feet? The team around her. Clip the back edge. And this is what she's always been good at. But there's also the occasion. Patient and productive. That's Yidi at her best. So good. So the first game goes, but both players will know that that is just the beginning. But there's a way to go right now. Oh that's really got her on the run right now. Would be the obvious choice. But she's got to defend for her life. For example, who wouldn't let her be in her comfort zone. A brilliant shot. Slower top spin maybe. Or longer. Forcing the agenda again. And that was sublime. Punchy movement. We've seen it time and time again. It's a position. Just uncorking forehands. The both of them. Xinyubin using a flatter technique. And look at the change of direction. Table. Close to that back line. Well played Xinyubin. She took the risk. Got onto the forehand. Injected a bit of pace. But that forehand of Yidi. Which she takes. Thanks to that one going a little long off the blade there. It's just once we enter these exchanges. But it just comes at her Did you think you would be this one-sided? But she has been so good. So dominant. 29 now. She'll be serving. Notice that she's not going anywhere. Oh yeah. That's a statement as well. Speechless. She's done that time and time again. That's just classic Wang Yidi. As she moves into a commanding three-love lead now. Just one more Just going for it. It's another brilliant serve from Wang Yidi. She's obviously messing with the amount of spin Wang Yidi's putting on the serve. But four brilliant shots to get past her. This time the exchange. And she'll be hoping maybe. It is relentless. We've seen it before. And it's a good one. And she does have a game. One love. She brings out a big counter. These half-long pushes to the forehand. And in the end the persistency. Yeah that's also it. Just about to say danger here. Because they got into that fashion. You're off. Because you're almost thinking in your head. I'm injured. I'm She does it. Amidst virtual hush in the infinity arena. That was not what they were expecting to see. This is fantastic to watch. It felt like it was never going to end. Rapid fire from both. Be honest with yourselves. 20 minutes ago would anyone have said. Yeah she's going to fight back She's going to force this one to a seven. Off the edge of the table. Wang Yidi who makes it six wins now in WTT encounters against Xinyu Bin. But rarely will we have seen anything like this encounter. 11-7, 11-5, 11-6. She was comfortable. She looked on the brink.
