Cosmetic acupuncture is also known as facial rejuvenation acupuncture or acupuncture facelift. At Cinnabar we have developed a comprehensive program that combines face and body acupuncture with cutting edge aesthetic technology.

Okay, today we're going to demonstrate cosmetic acupuncture treatment.
And, first of all, we take a full intake history with the patient.
So, we'd have them fill out a form, and then we would ask a lot of questions about how they're sleeping,
how their digestion is, about their general health picture.
And the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to take the pulse,
and we take it on both sides in three different positions.
And the main thing I'm feeling on the pulse today is a lot of tension.
So that's one of the things I'm going to focus on today is on relaxing Sabrina.
Can I have you stick your tongue out for me, please?
And her tongue's a little bit pale, it's puffy, and there's teeth marks on the sides.
That tells me there's some spleen deficiency and some dampness going on with her.
And so that's another thing I'm going to focus on is relaxing her and strengthening her spleen.
Now, Sabrina, is there anything in particular about your skin that's bothering you that you want to talk about?
Right under the eyes I get a little puffy.
It's like underneath the sunken, it's puffy.
And the lids are dropping a little.
And the jowls, of course.
And the jowl area seems to be falling more lately.
Okay, and it's funny because that actually correlates with what I just found out internally.
This area right here has to do with the gallbladder, this kind of puffiness.
Not under the eye, but below, more on the bone.
That has to do with the gallbladder being unbalanced.
Gallbladder and liver get unbalanced really easily when there's more stress going on, as well as fattier diet.
And then that kind of, when things are not raised the way they should be, that's spleen deficiency.
And that can happen, actually, even really young in life when people tend to have things kind of drop a little bit.
That has to do with spleen sheet deficiency.
That's why it's really important to do face reading along with taking the internal diagnoses.
Because the face will actually tell you a lot of what's going on health-wise.
And a lot of things that bother us on our face, like when we have certain wrinkles, actually correlate to certain imbalances in the body.
So you don't want to just freeze things and take away the wrinkles.
That way you want to actually resolve the imbalance that's causing the wrinkle to heal.
So I'm going to cleanse Sabrina's skin here before we get started.
And we always customize the cosmetic acupuncture treatments to what the patient needs that day.
So in Sabrina's case, I'm going to start off with the facial and dermology.
Because she's, to get rid of the puffiness and to help tighten and tone the skin.
And she's also having some sinus issues.
So that's going to be the perfect thing to start that off.
We're doing facial and dermology.
And this right now is going to be draining the lymphatic system.
And that's going to help reduce the puffiness.
It's also helping stimulate the collagen and elastin in the skin.
This alone will have a really strong anti-aging effect.
And it's very relaxing.
Body acupuncture is always a part of our cosmetic acupuncture treatments.
And I really focused on strengthening her spleen, relaxing her liver and clearing her gallbladder.
Because those were the main concerns for Sabrina.
And that's going to make the biggest difference on her skin.

Now I'm going to start needling the face.
And one of the points I'm going to do right here is stomach 3.
I'm going to take a deep breath.
