What do you make of United? Obviously, look, opening weekend win against Fulham. I thought
they deserved it as well. I know some Fulham fans maybe think they deserved a point, but
I thought they deserved it. Xerxe, you know, debut on the score sheet, which is so important
as well. Where are United? Because you look at this team and, you know, there is a good
XI there, but me and you were having a look at the squad earlier. There's XI in names,
like Rashford there. Yes, but it's not the same Rashford we're used to. Mason Mount's
there, but again, it's not the Mason Mount we're used to seeing at Chelsea. Where is
this United squad? I think when I watched them in the community shield against Manchester
City, look good. I thought, okay, he's on something. I quite like this. And even against
Fulham, as you said there, I can understand some Fulham fans thinking maybe a point would
have been fair, but I did think Manchester United were the better side. I thought they
played well. I thought they created a number of opportunities, but Bruno himself usually
takes those, the Garnaccio open goal miss. So they had chances, but they didn't take
them. Yeah. As you said there, I think on paper, you're like, oh yes, I like what I'm
seeing there. Yeah. On paper, it looks really good, doesn't it? But that's the problem is
that there's too many inconsistent performances in this Manchester United side. I mean, I'm
a big fan of Diego Dalo. I think he's really consistent, plays well pretty much all the time.
Harry Maguire's in and outs is a bit unfair. Martinez has had his injuries,
Kobe Meunier, consistent now, he's one of their main players. Casemiro at times,
you still don't know. No, no, no, you certainly do not know. I mean, last season,
Casemiro just wasn't, wasn't even here. But it looks like he's trimmed down a bit.
It does, agreed, agreed. Mason Mount, I still think it's a little bit harsh to judge him
because he had an injury. I think he was out at one point for four months last year. So I think
he's had an injury ridden season. Diello, exciting, but yet to really get an opportunity, obviously
burst onto the scene against your lot in the FA Cup score in the middle. Okay, okay, okay. And
then you've got Marcus Rashford. I mean, Bruno Fernandes is consistent. He's their best player.
Marcus Rashford is... So there's a few question marks, isn't it, with a few of them. That's
the problem. There's too many to have question marks. Do you know what I mean? Like four or five,
fair enough. But I feel like you just rattle off seven. Yeah. And, but when with Marcus Rashford,
it's what do you do? What's next? Because I was having a little nose this morning about his stats
and I can't remember the exact years, which I'll be able to tell you, but he, the back, he had two
back to back seasons, right? Where you go, okay, I like what we're doing. So that the two back to
back seasons were, he had, it was 2021. Yeah. And, and 2019, 20, 21 and 22 in, in all comps.
Yeah. The year after that, I think he scores five until you go, what's happened there? But then you
go, okay, we'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He then bounces back without 30. Yeah. And
everyone's like, here we go. I mean, he's gone back to how he was before. So I can only understand
for Eric ten Hag, he must be thinking to himself, I don't know what's next. And that must be
killing him because we all know when he's at it. Oh my goodness. He pace direct finishing power.
But when he's in this inconsistent, he's almost like, well, what do I do? I want to play him,
but I've got Guy Nacho who's chomping at the bit. I've got Diallo who's there.
Anthony was his chance. By the way, you now got Jadon Sancho who's not left the club. He's there.
Yeah. He's got all these players. How can I justify keep picking you week in week out?
And I know Sancho hasn't done it yet. Did you pick someone to get into form? Do you know what I mean?
Do you play someone into form? Do you continue? You have to play him. But that's what I'm saying
with him is that 10, 10 August playing him and playing him and playing him until the point he's
gonna have to go the same working. It's gonna have to be gone natural and Diallo because the yellow
has been good. Gone natural. He's chomping at the bit. At some point, he's gonna have to go.
If you don't offer me more, you're not playing. You know, if it is say, say it is gone natural.
Diallo Xerxe. Is that a front three? That's gonna like really contend for Champions League places.
I mean, I'm not being disrespectful. I'm like serious question here. I mean,
Diallo Xerxe gone at you. I think gone at you. Fantastic player, by the way,
like literally has all the hallmarks of a player that could go on. He's got that kind of arrogance
that you need as well. But is that a front three? When you look at all the other sort of top clubs
in and around right now, is that a front three? That's going to go. Okay. That front three gets
us into Europe. Um, well, I think Xerxe is, is, is answer the question. Nobody's young. So we
haven't seen him yet. He's 23. He's 23. He's not a kid. He's not playing the Premier League.
Right. I think he's more of a 10 than an out and out forward. And his numbers was just so
you've also got Hoyland when he comes back. See, I think Hoyland with his movement, I think
he can get the goals. But, um, yeah, it's, it's tough. But I do think all of those players,
Diallo, Garnaccio, Hoyland or Xerxe are very good players. I think Garnaccio will go to the highest.
Yeah. He's ceiling's incredibly high. United seem to be a squad where you like, if everyone's on it,
and I've said this about United for the last two, three seasons, if everyone's on it, they're good.
And we've not seen everyone on it. No. Do you know what I mean? And it felt sometimes like
last scene, it was Kobe Maynard, the kids, basically Kobe Maynard and Garnaccio literally
carrying them through and also Bruno doing his thing as well. Yeah. Just can't have that. No,
this season needs to be more consistent. That's for sure. Yeah. You're, you're at the MX, aren't
you tomorrow? I'm looking forward to it because you're there as your professional, I feel bad.
If I ask you a prediction, are you allowed to do this? I don't know. Like, I mean, I don't know.
Yeah, no, probably not. Go on then. No, you're more professional.
Go on, go on. Who do you think wins? Who do you think wins? Who do you think wins? Come on,
Veddy. Go on. I think I can see a 2-2 draw. Yes, on the fence. On the fence, 2-2 draw. Look at him.

about Brighton being potentially better than you. I mean, are they? Are Brighton better than you?
Brighton fans, do you think you're better than United right now under your new manager,
Herzler? Are you impressed with what he's done so far to the squad? You look like you've got a
really... You know, you look at the team, by the way, that played against Everton. No Lamptey,
who I think is a good player as well. Estopinion, no Ferguson. Like, oh, these players to come.
There you go. Interesting game. Remember, it is live on TalkSport tomorrow, lunchtime
