It has been difficult for me as a van lifer in Australia to find a community, it was so great to catch up with Tom again and feel like I was part of a van life community. We met up in Torquay Victoria and had an amazing few weeks hanging out, I got to meet some more of his beautiful friends and family and just be in the energy of this high vibe human. We did a coastal walk in Bells Beach which is about 10km south of Torquay, it felt so good to be out in nature again and the scenery was breathtaking!! The weather coulnd't have been more perfect, and I had a good laugh when a paraglider popped in from out of the sky and started chatting to Tom, he's obviously a well known and loved individual in this community :)

Okay, so I've been for a bit of a run and I've just done a few little weights, little
arm weights and I've done my my leg band with my legs but let's give skipping a go. Okay,
I bought the skipping rope and I haven't skipped since, I don't know, primary school.
So I'm going to actually allow you all to watch me try and do it for the first time
so you can all have a laugh with me, not at me, with me. It really does pay off to chat with
locals when you can because I've had so many tips from local people about where to go and
things to see and Tom told me when I come to Torquay that I have to come to this spot because
it's just magic and I couldn't find the spot initially but anyways pinned it for me and I've
come here and look at this. I don't really want to say exactly where this spot is because it's
not my spot to give away but yes I'm very grateful he's guided me here because it's
absolutely magic, very secluded, quiet and there are toilets here as well.
So as I've come into the Geelong Torquay area I have caught up with my new friend Tom again.
It was so great to be in his energy again, he's so high vibe and I got to meet a lot of his friends
and family. I went to his birthday drinks at the pub, I got to go to a family dinner which was so
nice and I got to go to a gig that his sister-in-law was playing at and she's just got
the most amazing voice ever so I'll link all her music details below but it was just so nice to be
part of that sense of community again. Really really enjoyed my time there and I actually
stayed for quite a few weeks and then Tom wanted to take me on one of his favorite coastal walks
so this is why I love getting to know the locals because then I get to find all these little
secret areas I probably wouldn't find. So this is the Ironbark Basin Nature Trail in Bells Beach
and as we've started out not far along the track we stumbled across something that some random
people, I don't know who, has created. There's a labyrinth and so they've made this beautiful
little plaque, wooden plaque, explaining what a labyrinth is to them which is like a walking
meditation so we used it as an opportunity to just slow down, take a breath and just slowly walk
the labyrinth and take in our surroundings and calm our mind. You're only allowed to bring the
coolest caliber of human here because this is the secret track. Well, coolness factor 100% over here.
Well I was so glad that we established that I have the coolness factor to take this walk with
Tom off the beaten track and we climbed a bit further and got to the top of this cliff edge
and the view was just breathtaking. It was unbelievable the water was so flat it was just
like glass and the cliff edge was so spectacular as well it just I don't even know what else to
say about it but yeah and then one of his friends literally dropped in out of the sky.
Is there anybody out there or I'm left here all alone
I see the earth is spinning but I still stand tall
Now the time I can see the goal I know what you're thinking but I never fall
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming
Walking on thin ice I have no one I can call
Thought I know the path but it seems that I got lost
I wanna fight this feeling sometimes you have to crawl
Walking on thin ice I have no one but my voice
Forget about the past I'll go and make my own
I'm gonna break this ceiling gonna break this wall
Now the time I can see the goal I know what you're thinking but I never fall
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming
I'm so strong from 200,000 miles and won't you see I'm so small
Millions lost around me and now won't you have it all
From 200,000 miles I'm coming back home
Got that core again
Now the time I can see the goal I know what you're thinking but I never fall
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming
Millions lost around me and I'm feeling so strong
From 200,000 miles and won't you see I'm so small
