In this video, Seppie takes an in-depth look at the PSE Sicario Speed Bow, a bow that’s being talked about as one of the fastest compound bows ever built.
But speed alone doesn’t mean much without control — so this test goes deeper.
Seppie runs the Sicario through multiple real-world tests, shooting 350, 450, 550, and even 1100-grain arrows across three draw lengths (30”, 29”, and 28”) to show how speed, efficiency, and energy change as setups vary.
Beyond raw numbers, he also puts the bow through an accuracy test, proving whether a true speed bow can still group and hold consistency — something many high-speed bows struggle with.

Can a speed bow be accurate? This PSE Sicario review tests the bow's advertised speed with various arrows
This is the PSE Sicario PSE's 2026 carbon build firing at 357 feet per second
We'll build this structure using various types of brackets on different drawings
Real-life test and check whether the speed actually meets your needs from a hay bal maker
We'll run this through the test and check if it builds accurately
at 20 yards to see if this build is right for you The PSE Sicario
The construction everyone's talking about 357 feet per second—this is a fast-moving project
Before we go further let's take a look at some of that new technology and some of the
Check the specifications of this build This build has a 5-inch and a square-inch breadth
so when I look at a construction site like that I immediately think this isn't going to be easy
bouw is for shooting This is more for the advanced archer and we'll test this out
It's clear that what's important is that they've changed this year which is the FDS
Construction This construction is also present on the Mach 30 and Mach 33 builds FDS is the follow-up transmission system
o get away from the Evolv build the E2 build which was one of those beautiful builds
and this was easy to adjust and easy to shoot but this FDS build gives you an extreme
e range in the drawing die is specially tailored to this build which I actually really like so it's almost perfect for you
Five inches of drawing adjustments provided The construction is very lightweight so it is clearly
I'll give you the performance and speed you want and the build looks quite aggressive
With the oval shape but when you turn this build around it's actually quite beautiful and smooth
A feature I really like on this build is the let-off which you can adjust from 85 to 80 to 75 and down to 70
so if you're looking for a higher let-off the 85 percent let-off is clearly the one
dear let-off and as you head toward that goal-oriented side of things maybe I don't know who
This construction is for target-oriented building I've set up my construction and will now test it
It clearly shows all those goal-side accessories here and on my goal-side build I knock a 65%
The release was easy for me just moving the target end over there
Up to 70% on this build feels good for me we're going to do a calibration test
Later that day I spent less than an hour supporting this construction setup and closing it down
clearly this construction while fast is 380 spindles target-end construction that I
on my 28.5 target build this construction has posed a bit of a challenge
e back end flew well but I managed to do it so I don't know what the acceptance tes
go ahead and clearly set this to five and a quarter height brush height
It's going to be quite interesting PC talks about a dynamic brush height the effective brush heig
five and a quarter height and if you reverse this building while that camera
Full turn the actual dynamic ride height is more than an inch higher in my opinio
s the building height and the prohibition and approval of constructio
better be precise about the actual bounce height because the longer the swing
on the string it actually gives you more time to make mistakes with your grip itself and
This affected the construction itself I have set up two constructions this is
at 70 pounds of tension we'll perform the speed test on 30-inch 29-inch and 28-inch wheel sizes
It's so easy to loosen that cam bolt it'll come off quickly and then we'll go four
Send various quantities: 350 450 550 and then we'll send this up to 1100
e grain we send out 1 100 units of is just to see what kind of effectiveness and
efficiency drops off as we approach the end of the cam's travel usually by about one inc
about ten feet per second and this is going to be interesting to watch on a 30-inch screen with light touc
versus the short turn length with the intense impact how many feet per second you leave at the
specifically on the other side I set this up angrily as some kind of target I have a
arget site in sight I lock on hit the target all high-end equipment destroyed but
I don't push I don't push one turn lengthwise I push one 50 inch in the front and 12 inch on the side
e corner and some boys use this type of stabilizer configuration when they're looking for
especially when pushing longer distances or searching this type of stabilizer setup
You provide good stability and precision this is set at 60 pounds and my draw length is 28
and a half inch this is slightly more than 28 and a half inches because the distance from asylum to asylum is
uh 33 inches and we've slightly reduced the pound each to make a bit of room for some tech
You'll increase the turn length but this is measured at just over 28 and a half inches
We'll do it exactly I want to see what kind of grouping I'll get I'll do three rounds
five circles each time I'll keep track and I hope I'll start getting accurate results because
of course I'll make sure the five-and-a-half-inch price height a speedboa
so it's indeed exactly 30 inches 350 green circle 350 6 now let's push a 450 green circle
314 feet per second still very fast 550 green 286.4 1100 green 205 feet per second
The beautiful thing about this is how effortlessly you can relax the tension along the length—it's 30 inches
By loosening just one of these screws you can easily do without a thread gauge
Take the slack out to half an inch and then pull it tight to 29 inches
70 pounds 350 grains green round 338.8 approximately 10 feet per second longer 450 on 29 inches
300 feet per second 550 green 29 inches 70 pounds 275.6 1100 green 29 inches 70 pounds
199 which is 6 feet per second longer with the 1-inch turn is good and effective now
spin at 28 inches 28 inches 350 green circle at 70 pounds approximately 25 feet per second
longer a value of 12 feet per second per inch so this is 450 green 28 inches 70 pounds 292
550 28-inch 70-pound 265 1100 green 28-inch 70-pound 192 interesting facts and wha
What was interesting was shooting the screw at 30 inches with the 350 green ring while were turning the leng
per second but when we took the 1100 green circle it finally lost speed more gradually so that efficiency
This camp is highly effective great fun to watch and truly interesting to experience—96 feet
30-inch 350-pound kinetic energy with a green ring at 70 pounds and while I'm doing this on all that
maneuver increased to 1100 green at a speed of just over 200 feet per second which brought us
over 102 foot-pounds of kinetic energy at a velocity of 357 feet per second and the velocity
of which our figure from this construction was 351 and part of the reason why I think I didn't reach 357
's pure because I think this is an 80-pound build that we've reduced to 70 and also
That's the shot I took from this build—a 340 spine with a 350 green trajectory
I think if I shot a 300 spine or even a sharper one from this build
If this build works out well I'll actually get a bit more speed ultimately
e goal is to see how precise this construction will be the test I'm going to conduct is that I'll
arget accessories on you this is a type of target sling hunting setup a target rest and
a 15-inch lane and a 12-inch target so the idea is to give me a slight advantage
I shot at 20 years old and aimed at a Vegas-style target on a world archive target w
a 10-ring the size of the Vegas 10 so it's important for me to see what kind of grouping
what kind of control I'll gain from that construction and ultimately how precise it will be
This is going to happen—this construction is extremely fast and finding a match for this build will be tough
about 60 pounds and I shot this bow about 29 inches and the arrow I used
It's an Ester 380 this one is a bit on the heavy side but I don't have a Pro2 or 340 w
My but this gave me a good paper I'll see how I'm going to group it and ultimately how precisely
Exactly how this will unfold this is number one the construction is going well
It's not as round as I thought it would be given the approximate 5-inch reach height
but this is actually a beautiful beautiful control building I started this building and this is my first group
what I focused on during the shoot putting real effort into it to achieve a good composition
I eased back a bit with the last one we've just placed but that grouping is
g let's go take a look I must say I'm quite disappointed with the grouping and I'm not sure whether
You can clearly see it on that side of the back this part is slightly on the left side
but there are only four impact points so that one impact point went through and I'm just going to proceed with that one
Try pushing this back down so this is about ten against the other impact height so I just want to push this back down
but this is slightly to the left and we've clearly placed some light there
e back this was probably nice in the middle but from a grouping perspective what's there
about an hour or so and I'll just take a close look at this clearly and
Apply this but this is nice and tight about the size of the toe ring itself I'm going to
make a change to ensure I get a nice grouping in the center so I'm going
I'm changing my kant to the left but I'm happy with this one—the sight alignment is good the build is solid
The valley felt good let's go for round two—I adjusted my stance slightly to the left
o see if I can get all of this centered there and with this light that's shining on me in that
Front attack there was clearly a slight movement to the left that group is even stronger
but with the changes I've made it's clear this came in and that's the impact heig
the middle and that one punch has already been lost carbon to carbon
so the group in the previous round was one and a half inches
So this is it this is much stronger so it's clear just to know the construction a bit better
so this here is one inch and a quarter meaning it's a one-inch-and-a-quarter grouping
That's the best so far this is our final round out of three the previous round was fun
It was a nice one-and-a-half inch gap so I hope I can make it
I can push this even further—I've already made fifteen precise hits in total and in that previous round we had
what was cut so this was an inch and a quarter from the previous end and this is
A bit stronger I can tweak that a little just a touch yes there we go
so this is clearly a bit less than an inch and a quarter just under an inch and a quarter
ree knocks this is the best so far and it seems like it's
It gets better every time—we've trimmed the excess and if you look at this sense of purpose
This was my first round of five punches slightly to the left
and after I made that adjustment the group there of ten height points which was my las
e end was truly truly relaxing with the delicacy and enchantment I experienced from
That satisfying feel really easy to shoot I truly enjoyed the camera I genuinely loved that grip of
That specific sense of purpose felt throughout my entire being is a truly beautiful feeling when shooting
a wide range of spooling adjustments let-off that you can tweak to really achieve that desired feel
relaxing one of the things that make this sense of purpose relaxing specifically with this picatinny
stall you can't fit all the door hinge sites that align directly with the target so you mus
This picatinny rail height on this grip is actually relaxed so you need to maintain it
If you don't lose it the other thing that's a solid perk about this goal feeling is relaxation
but what relaxes me a bit is when you start making adjustments to the swing length
Do you actually see those tiny sliders on the target feeling it's just like a
closing perspective and as a winner I clearly want to say that the deaf ends look very beautiful indeed
but this is something that slightly relaxes me and something I think tha
ey can improve but if you buy it purposefully the features you get from the purposeful purchase
e relaxation and using that sense of purpose later to sell to many men with those differe
sliders this is indeed a slide worth watching Everywhere my experience with those
PSE Sicario was at the very least relaxing—a quick slide with an extremely short price
e gave me the impression that I wouldn't expect to shoot 20-yard groups of 1.5 inches
what was left in my mind was just my head The kind of performance that at the end of the day
The short slide with heavy sliders was also impressive
For me the performance and efficiency on this were really enjoyable
Overall I'm happy with the slider and pleased with the result I got
I encourage you to visit your store and your sales staff and try shooting tests
Slide it and feel what it's like leave a comment on what we should do next time what
