Citation 89, Representative Johnson, Citation of Achievement. The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hereby recognizes and honors Carrington True. General from Davis. Thank you, Mr. Speaker. This young lady, Carrington True, even as we speak, is now traveling to Las Vegas to represent the Commonwealth in the United States of America Miss National Pageant. As the recently crowned United States of America Miss Kentucky, Carrington's passion is to advocate for and honor our first responders. Ms. True is an exceptional young lady and, in fact, she's a published author who has done children's books that our fire departments and first responders use across the country to educate children about first responders. She's an exceptional young lady and, without question, will represent the Commonwealth with great distinction. Along with the lady from Davis 7, I wish Ms. True safe travels and great success in the United States of America Miss National Pageant she will be participating in this week.
