Hopefully, your face is dirty.
You look hot and you look hot and you look hot.
So, you know what we're gonna do?
We're gonna make our own homemade frosty paws, which are kind of like doggie ice cream. What do you think? Think that'll help?
Considering it's like 92 degrees outside. Alright, let's show them how to make them. Alright girls, let's show them.
We're gonna make our own homemade frosty paws.
What you guys are gonna need is a 32 ounce container of plain yogurt. Any brand will do.
One banana, some honey, some peanut butter and some trays to put all this stuff in and a blender.
You got all that stuff. You can make some good frozen treats for the dogs.
Now we're gonna show you how. Are you gonna help Oakley? You're gonna help?
Alright, first thing we're gonna do, we're gonna unwrap the banana.
Unwrap it. You want to unwrap the banana?
Alright, get this banana unwrapped.
First thing,
you got to use one mashed banana.
You can either mash it up with a fork. You can go ahead and just put it right in your blender.
I'm just gonna break it up a little bit.
Put it in the blender.
Right?
Right about like that.
Want to lick my fingers?
I have nanner on my fingers. Always nanner on my fingers. Want some? Want some?
Good stuff, I know.
Alright, we're gonna blend up the banana real quick here.
Now, it's mashed banana.
Once you get the banana mashed,
the rest of the stuff is really easy.
Take your
32 ounce container of plain yogurt and we're just gonna dump that right in the blender. The whole thing.
Dump all that right in your blender.
See? Empty.
Want to see? Come here girls.
Want some?
That's good stuff. Oh, that's good stuff. Where's my Shi?
There's my Shi. Up here Shi.
Up here. You're gonna duck way down here. Nobody can see you down there. Alright, I'll give you some down there.
Then, comes the easy part.
Wait, the whole thing is kind of easy. You need two
tablespoons. Two tablespoons of peanut butter.
Try that. Can't eat the spoon. Can't eat the spoon. No, you really can't eat the spoon. Want some Shi?
There you go.
Then, two tablespoons of honey. I'm just using the same tablespoon. I don't need to get a new one just for that.
Want to try that?
You want to try it? You want to try it?
Shelby doesn't really seem to like straight honey. How about you?
All right, now
Now put the lid on and
blend it.
That's pretty much what it'll look like blended. It'll kind of be pretty liquidy and then you can either
pour it right into your ice cube trays, which is probably the easiest or you can use a spoon and put it in there.
Now that my ice cube trays are all messy and filled, I'm gonna put them in the freezer and let them freeze and as you
can see I do have some left. I only have the two silicone ice cube trays, so
I'm only gonna fill two right now and I'm gonna put this in the fridge and after these are frozen, I'll fill them up again.
Gee, it's like they know something's happening.
All right, as you can see
they're all done. They're frozen. The nice thing about using the silicone
ice trays and you can actually use like the silicone cupcake makers and things like that, like the mini ones,
but the nice thing about using these is they're really easy to pop them out of there.
Look, it looks like a strawberry.
And I just put them in another container because, you know, they can't eat them all at once.
Pop them out of there, right?
Come on, are you waiting patiently? Yeah, wait a second. I gotta get these out of here.
If you put them in a regular ice cube tray,
it's easier to get them out if you just set them in a little bit of warm water for a few seconds.
It'll kind of loosen them up a little bit. These, these are cute because it looks like a little orange slice and watermelon.
So we're gonna pop these ones out of here and we're gonna take the girls outside and let them try one.
Half of them. What do you think? Girls want to try one? Let's go outside.
All right, now we'll see what they think.
Want one?
Take a nice.
You want one? Take a nice. I know you're gonna want me to hold it. You want one? There you go.
What do you think? See and they're not super hard. It's kind of like frozen yogurt.
I can't believe you finished that that fast Shiloh.
It's more like ice cream and yogurt's really good for dogs.
And like I said, it's got honey in it, a little bit of peanut butter and some banana. So it's a good healthy treat, right?
Each want one more?
All right. For video purposes, we'll give you each one more. Come over here though.
Shelby, can you sit?
No.
Take nice.
Shiloh, can you sit?
Sit.
You can sit. I know you can sit. Take a nice.
Oakley, can you sit? No, we're not jumping up. Sit. On your butt. Sit. No.
No.
Come on. No, you're so silly. Sit Oakley.
Well, she knows how to sit sometimes, but she really likes food. Sit. Come on, sit.
Okay, fine. Up.
Can't take a camera with you. Here, Oakley. Here.
There you go.
So you can make these for your dogs to help keep them cool in this heat wave we're having.
Leave us a comment. Let us know if you're gonna try them for your dog.
There's also gonna be a little playlist button, probably somewhere over here.
It'll go to a link to all the other dog treat recipes that we've done. You can go check those out.
I don't know if we're gonna put up a video on 4th of July or not.
So if we don't see you Wednesday, we'll see you Friday. Bye!
Go to the snow dog.
