How we all doing out there? I hope you're all tickety-boo. I used to work with a lad at Sellafield,
he was a farmer and he used to say that to us all the time. He used to come in the shop and say
I hope you're all tickety-boo. Anyway, if you're watching, I do follow you on Instagram. I hope
you're absolutely spot on. Anyway, I've been shopping to Farm Foods. Come and have a look
what I got. I was having a little walk around Farm Foods and I came across this Buffalo Franks.
I do like the Franks Buffalo hot sauce for chicken. It's really nice. I do like the Franks
hot sauce and I've not seen this before. Chicken curry. Tender chicken meat in a mild creamy curry
sauce with tomato and spices. Fully cooked. Heat and eat in just five minutes. A net weight of 380
grams. While I came out of Farm Foods, I bumped into a dad and lad. They watch the channel so
thank you very much for watching. It was nice having a crack with you. So, the price. I got it
on a deal. It was £1. Buy two tins for two quid. I think it's £1.49. I will just get my receipt
out in a sec and I will double check. I got this and I got something else which I'm going to review.
Let's have a closer look at the packaging. There it is, if it focuses. £1.49.
So, I'll save 98 pence. Did you hear my throat then? My belly? Anyway, we've had a look. Well,
we've just had a look at this bit of the tin. So, let's go around the side. There's the ingredients.
We've got allergens of fructose in there. Cream and milk. Allergens in bold. We've got water,
first ingredient. Oh, that's not a good sign, is it? Chicken meat, 30%. So, it's just saying
chicken meat. We've got carrot. We've got tomato concentrate, 4%. There's nutrition there in more
detail. If you want to have a look at that, pause it. By all means, go ahead. We've got a PL sticker
there. Distributed by three pairs brands. Produced in Poland. It's Polish. How to eat empty content
into a saucepan. Heat gently for four to five minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil,
or you can do it in the microwave. It's up to you. We've got more serving suggestions here.
Yeah, stick it with some rice in a naan. Yeah, in a wrap. Or over chips. Half rice, half chips.
Right, that's it. Yeah, pretty basic. Got some spiel there on the top. 27th of the 10th, 27. I
would imagine that's used by. But yeah, we all know these tins last forever. We've got a ring
pull. That's good, isn't it? So, let's get this open with a ring pull and see what we've got.
Well, we know what we've got. We've got a chicken cuddy. Let's have a look. Let's have a look. If
there's anything like the sauces, I do like the sauces, the Frank's Hot Sauce. Oh, it's just
splurted all over me. There it is in there. That's what you get. A pound. Yeah, quite watery.
First ingredient was water, wasn't it? Yeah, 99p. You have to remember that. It's quite loose. I
Right, let's get in here. Let's see the consistency of it. So, it's just chicken
meat. So, it could be any. Yeah, got carrot in there as well. We're getting some healthy
vegetables in us. But if there's a chicken there, look, going in. Yeah, get it all out.
I'll let you have a look. That's what you get in there, look. I'll get a spatula in there and
give it a whirl around and we'll have a look. But, yeah. Yeah, there's the chicken, look. There's
a fair few bits of chicken in there. It's quite a few big bits and then it's pretty much all bitty,
isn't it? Yeah. Frank's. I wonder if it's to do with... I thought that Frank's Hot Sauce was
American. I don't know if this is a spin-off version or it's the real thing. Yeah. It's not
smelling of much. It's not giving a lot of smell away, I'll be honest, at the moment. I've just
turned it on, so I'm warming it up gently. I'm not going to let it boil. So, what was going on
about was this stuff here. Look, Frank's. You can get the wings stuff. I've been using this for years.
It's absolutely spot on. Or you can get the other jars of it. They do all different kinds. I was
just looking at the address on here. This one's French. It's done. So, it's chicken meat. Could be
any part of the chicken, really, couldn't it? Let's get it in there. You can have a look.
Get everything out. Yeah, there's plenty of sauce, that's for sure. Loads of sauce. I can't find
any other spatulas. It must be in the dishwasher. I've got to use this one, look. Anyway, I'll show you
this now. And there's no chilli rating on there as well. It's saying mild to me. It really is.
It's saying mild. Yeah, and it's very, very watery. I know that first ingredient was water,
wasn't it? But if you were to put this in a wrap or a naan bread, it would
absolutely pour out everywhere, wouldn't it? There's not a lot of substance to it.
It's quite bitty. Bitty. There's a couple of big bits of chicken, bigger bits of chicken.
Yeah, a bit of carrot in there as well. Onion. Yeah. Right, let's try it. I thought I'd give
you this view today and look at my lovely girl's artwork displayed on the wall. Fantastic. It
always makes me smile when I look at that. It cheers me up. So let's try this. Let's get stuck
into this. I'll get into that big bit of chicken there, look. I've not let it boil. Very mild.
Very, very mild indeed. If you like mild curries, chicken curries, this is for you. Nothing,
nothing exceptional whatsoever in flavour. Mild spices. Creamy. The chicken was, it wasn't tough,
it was okay. Yeah, I'm not detecting any sort of the Frank's flavour from the sauce, but that
just might be the brand name. You know, chicken curry. It's nothing special. You have to remember
it's a pound. I'm glad I paid a pound and not £1.49. Put it that way, there's a deal on at
Farm Foods at the moment. I did pick a few items up. Yeah, it's a filler, isn't it? It's a filler,
you know, you need rice with it. There's loads and loads of sauce there. Plenty, plenty of
slippage juice. Help it down. Help it down. Yeah, but it always makes me laugh when I think of
slippage juice. Yeah, I get loads of comments saying, don't use that word. It's not, don't
use that word. Well, I am using that word. Yeah, I'm going in again. Yeah, if you like mild curries,
this is for you. Definitely for you. So what would I give it out of 10? For me,
there's nothing wrong with it. It's mild. Coming in at the price point, I'd give it a generous
seven out of 10. I am generous. Thanks for watching. I do appreciate it. Can't ask for
any more than that. Please keep your recommendations coming in. Let me know what you think. Let me know
if you've had it. I should get in Farm Foods more. I don't get in there as often. I'm going to start
going in a lot more now. I did notice there's quite a few new items in there. So I'll pick
it up, pick them up. I say, I've got another 10 different stuff and I will be reviewing it soon.
And yeah, have a good weekend, whatever you're doing. I'll get back to you on the next one.
