YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING | MAIL VLOG

Hey, we're finally doing mail again. We really do want to make this a weekly thing. We've just been kind of busy. Weekly? We have to do this weekly? Well, only if we get mail. If we don't get mail, then it'll be like every other week. But like I've had some of those mails since the end of February. Sorry! Let's open some mail. That's a good plan. All right. I think, as soon as we're ready, they're like, Oh, hey, it's mail time? Oh, we love mail time. I don't even know if Oakley knows it's mail time. Why do you think all the boxes belong to you? I like those! You can share those. This is a thank you card from Rich, Nicky, Sierra and Aurora. It says Sierra is ten and Aurora is the baby. I've enclosed some puppy popcorn. I don't know how I missed it. I found it. I wanted to share it. I didn't forget. Stickers! This is from Kyle. Kyle wants to know when Jamie and Memphis's birthday are. Jamie's birthday is August 1st. Memphis's is April 4th. And then... How do you get a Husky to stop whining and barking when we come home or when someone knocks on the door? Repetition. Repetition? Our dogs do it all the time. Be honest! When they're a puppy and they're charging you got to constantly... Even if you have to put them on a leash and hold them next to you and just tell them No! Wait! No! Wait! That doesn't stop the barking and whining. A lot of times you might want that in your dog too. If somebody comes up to the door you might want them to alert you and let you know that somebody's coming to the house. Even if it's the UPS guy. We just deal with it. Everybody that comes over here likes our dogs. I guess we're lucky. If anybody has some advice on how to get a dog to not bark at the door. I know distractions like you were saying. Distracting the dog is a good thing to start with. If somebody's at the door, have a treat. But... Not necessarily have a treat. Then they're focused on you and not the door. You tell them to come sit down next to you and you make them sit and wait. Through repetition over and over and over. Even if you have to use a leash. It might work. Good luck! Here's a good question. Leah says, she's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that only eats canned dog food. Do you have any advice on how to get the dog to eat regular dog food? Shelby? Do you have any advice on how to get a finicky picky dog to eat what you want them to eat? Yeah, if you mix it together that's probably the best thing to do. Slowly use less and less of the canned dog food. I still have a feeling if you give them just dry dog food they're going to want some wet dog food on there too. We met her at the Greater Siberian Husky Club of Detroit dog show that we went to with Memphis. This is from Emma. My dog bites me. How can I break her? You know, we get asked that all the time. All the time. Don't let them bite. Give them something to chew on. I always just yell, ouch! Whenever our dogs were little and they would bite... Just one single ouch! Pull away and ignore them. It doesn't work for every dog but it worked for every dog we ever had. Again, like Jamie said earlier, repetition. A lot of toys to chew on. Gotta repeat it. These are from Ellen. Ellen is from Port... Port... Northern Ireland. We got it. Ellen is 12 years old and she watches the vlogs everyday. We also got a beautiful little note from Ellen's mom, Lynn.
