SHEDDING DOGS and ALMOST GOT STUCK

You guys! Look who's in the office with us! Miss Oakley does like it in here! She's napping! She's like, I'm napping! This is great! Memphis forgot where the bed is again! It's that time of year again! It's time for the Huskies to blow their coats! I have my eyes protected this time because it's something you guys suggested I do when I blow their coats. Good! Let's do this! Does that feel amazing? Is that the best ever? Yeah? Best ever! Well, now that I got Shelby all done and Memphis pretty much all done... Looks like they are going to get dirty! Wow! Apparently, when you blow out their coats, they get super excited! I have not done Oakley! I have not decided if I'm going to do Oakley! She hates it! I'm not sure if I'm going to do her or not! I was going to film, she was just back here laying in her hole. Then, she thought I was going inside, so she got up. What are you doing? I just blew all that dirt and fur off of you! What are you doing? Shelby! Shelby! Don't even think about it! She's like, mom! I already thought about it! So... What was that? Two weeks ago? Two weeks ago, we took you guys to the dam. Where it was all frozen and we walked down and we saw the ice. There was ice on all the plants and everything. That was two weeks ago. You guys want to see what it looks like now? So, this is what it looks like now. Right there is where Jamie walked down the hill. I don't think we could stand down there right now. Currently, I mean... Maybe in a few spots, but yeah, I definitely think we would get wet. It's so crazy looking! We might have to go on the other side of it and check it out. I'm going to get out real quick. So, they've got what? One, two, three of them wide open right now. You can also see the water coming out from under the building here. That's so pretty! It's almost like a waterfall, except it's man made. Look at you guys! This is normally like a creek. That's a massive amount of water. There's a critter! There's a critter right there! He's swimming in between the trees. I don't know if I can zoom in. I will try. That middle tree is going to the left. He went under the water right there. That was cool! Maybe it's his fault this is all backed up. We'll have to watch for him to surface again. He came back up, but he's still way out there. Right behind that tree. Behind that tree there he is. There he goes. You think it's an otter? It doesn't look very big. It could be a beaver. I don't know. He's... Looks like he might be carrying something. Maybe he's making a dam. Could be. That's so crazy looking out there. Jamie's side looks just as crazy. That's normally like a creek. Not really this wide at all. That runs underneath the road right here. We came out to check out all the spring melt. Since it's all nice and sunny today. You can definitely go mudding back there. More like sinking. I don't know where he went. I guess he's gone. Alright. We'll continue on. I think there's somebody here. I could be wrong. Memphis is on the table. How did I know? Are you guys having so much fun? Yeah, I know. I know. You tell me all about it. I know your mama left. She'll be back. I swear. Look at how big Ruger's getting you guys. Already almost as tall as Memphis. He's like, I'm so big. I know. What? Have you been playing? They've been out here playing. We've been inside talking. I know Oakley was out here playing. You guys are just having a good time, huh? I know it feels like we haven't seen them in a while, huh? Yeah, I know. I know. I know. You guys will see something pink on Axel's face. No, it's not blood. It's pink. He got into something pink. Amanda didn't know what it was. What? You have mud on your face. What? What? My goodness. What? You guys want to go inside? Ok, we'll go inside. Let's go inside. Do you have any idea how cute you are? Even with that on. Does this know you're just super cute all the time? All the time. You're just super cute. Jamie and I are going to go see if we can see some northern lights. Possibly. Dogs are going to sit here and sleep. And nap. We'll be back baby. I don't know where everybody else is. I think Oakley's in her crate and Shelby's right there. Check this out. We got a new blue light behind our TV. Fence it. Fence it. Alright, you guys be good. We'll be back. This is the part where we sit here and wait. And hope that something changes. As we pretty much see exactly what you guys are seeing. The darkness. I think I see a star in this camera. That's pretty much it. Now we're just waiting to see if the sky changes. Oh, now I hear the dogs. Yeah? You guys hear the coyotes? There they go. And then the hound dog. That's crazy. In other words. Here's the back of my camera. In other news. Here's the back of my camera. That's what I'm seeing right now. I think we have a little bit of northern lights going on. And we got to hear some coyotes. That was cool. Look, it's not us that got pulled over. But these lights make it really hard to see on this dark road. Yeah, it sure does. Alright, remember the rule. 25 and pull over. Yeah, I can't tell what's going on. So I'm just going to assume that. We got to slow down and make sure we don't hit nobody. I didn't want him to think I was filming him to be rude. I really wasn't. I kind of wanted to show you guys that rule. In Michigan, that's the rule. You're supposed to give the officers their space. Slow down when you go by and they're on the side of the road. They're just doing their job and don't want to get hit. That guy was like standing in the road. I had no idea what the caution was for. Right. It could have been an injured person in the middle of the road. And me come bailing up at 55 miles an hour. Bad idea. Especially at night. Anyway, we're on our way back home. We saw some northern lights. Now we're going to go back home. More flashing red lights. Yay! So... We thought we'd show you this. We kind of got... Almost got stuck in the field at the farm. Almost. Oh, it's so gross. It's totally field mud. Yuck! I'm sorry. You got to go wash it now. I will tomorrow morning. Don't flick it all over. I promise. I put it back on the Jeep. Now it's on the ground. I have to clean that up. I will totally take it tomorrow and get it washed. That was not my intention. I don't know if you can see up under here. There's the grossness. We kind of sort of got almost stuck in the field. We can't go back out in the field where we were until... After spring. It's even up here. Alright! Let's go save the puppies. I kind of like this blue light. What you guys think? I like the blue light. It's kind of like a night light for the dogs with the TV on. It lights up the whole room a little bit more than just the TV. It's fun! Why the heck not? Alright guys! I think we're going to bed. Are you going to go to bed right there? You look so cute! You're so cute and comfy! We're going to go say goodnight to Oakley. You just sunk right in, huh? You're so stinking cute! Let's go say goodnight to Oakley. Oh!
