On my trip here in Singapore, I decided to stay at the New Majestic Hotel near Chinatown.
This hotel is part of the Unlisted Hotel Collection.
They have 3 hotels here in Singapore, 3 in London, and 1 in Shanghai.
The unique thing about this hotel is that each room was decorated differently by a Singaporean
designer.
They have 30 different rooms, and now here's Mei with a little more information about the
hotel.
Hi, my name is Mei.
I am the Head of Branding and Communications for the Unlisted Collection group of hotels.
We are here in New Majestic Hotel, which is located in Chinatown.
It's a 30-room boutique hotel, and what's interesting is that every room is a different
design by a different designer.
So this is situated in a conservation building, so we preserve a lot of, especially the exterior
of the hotel, but we've done up the inside pretty well.
We also have a pool and a gym in the hotel.
It's not huge, but for a 30-room boutique hotel, it's just nice.
Within the hotel, we also house Majestic Restaurant, which is a Cantonese fusion food.
It's award-winning by Chef Yong Ming.
We have a sister restaurant as well called Majestic Bay Restaurant, which is located
at Gardens by the Bay.
Now check out the tasty menu that we've had at the New Majestic Restaurant.
Hi, I'm Priscilla.
I'm the Marketing Communications Manager for Majestic Restaurant, and here you are.
This is Majestic Restaurant by chef-owner Yong Ming.
It's an 80-seater restaurant serving modern Chinese cuisine.
We have four private dining rooms in the restaurant, and an open kitchen concept.
We have a very interesting feature in the restaurant.
Basically, the porthole is in the ceiling, where you can look through to the swimming
pool just right up from the hotel.
So David is going to be doing a tasting tonight, so what you'll be seeing is a set menu put
If you're looking to do something different in Singapore and stay in a culturally rich
heritage area, do join us at New Majestic Hotel.
There's a lot to see and do, and eat around the area as well.
That was the New Majestic Hotel, the perfect tea hotel here in Singapore.
