In your view, what were your problems offensively today? We're not playing the quarterback position the way it's supposed to be played. AJ, defensively, kept you in that game for a long time. Guys like Isaiah Greenway stepped up, made some plays. What do you at least see positively on that side? Like I told the guys at halftime, I didn't care about the score. Go out and play for each other. Play as a family. Just play to the end. I had zero issues with the defense whatsoever. I thought they played their tails off. I was super proud of them. AJ, Brett with the bottom line and UFL fans, if you thought about taking over play calling duties, I know there's been a lot of rumblings the last few weeks about first down play calling and just how conservative it's been. I don't know if you've talked about maybe making a change on the play calling end. We'll assess everything and meet as a staff. Listen, we got dudes open. You watch the tape, we got dudes open. Got to deliver the football at the quarterback spot. Simple as that. Coach, 18,000 fans showed up for you guys here today. Big statement, especially with owner Mike Rapoli here. Could you speak to the fans a little bit? Yeah. I'm sorry. It won't happen again. Listen, I come from this state. I know what football means. That's why I said embarrassing. I don't think I've ever been shut out in my life. It's on me. I'm the head coach, but I appreciate everybody. It truly means a lot to come out the way we did. As a state, not just Birmingham, but there's people from all over. It's very much appreciated. We'll get this thing going in the right way. Coach, one for 13 on third down. I know you made a quarterback change midway through the game. Could you expand a little bit upon what went into that decision and what you saw that put yourselves in some tough third down situations? You're third and manageable. Just trying to think back on multiple you get false start penalties. Attention to detail. Then we're passing up open receivers to try to throw it to somebody else. Couldn't tell you why. We've got to be better on third down. It'll be a long staff meeting tomorrow to go through this. Coach, you said that there were going to be changes with what is needed for the quarterback position. What do you mean by those sort of changes? Are we going to see a different starter next week? Are we, obviously, the loss of Taylor Eldridge meant to the CFL hurts? What is your plan and approach for the going week? Everything's on the table. Trades to QB change, everything's on the table. Coach, on the quarterback position you kind of stole my thunder with the trade possibility. So you are looking into possibly signing another QB at this time? Yep, we are.
