Nemo in a field of DIAMONDS!!!

Look, frozen trees. Magical trees. That one you can see. Look at the top of that one. The tops of these trees are all icy. Wow, you can see it. Can you? Yeah, not as well. It doesn't look as cool as that one does. Like Q-tips. Frozen trees. I told Jamie a second ago, they look like magical trees. We are on the road and look who's with us. We have a Shelby girl and an Oakley girl. What's up girls? We figured since we finally got a fairly decent amount of snow in Michigan, that we were gonna, since they cancelled the sled dog races for this weekend because we didn't get the snow until after. We figured we were gonna take the girls and we were gonna go for a ride. We haven't decided, are we going to Gaylord or Petoskey? I guess we're going to both. We're going to Gaylord and Petoskey. Oakley's never been to a real pet store where she actually got to go in and walk around. That we know of. That we've been with her for. So, a lot of people on our main channel, on the dog's actual channel have been asking me for, I don't know the past year since we've had Oakley, when are you gonna take her to the pet store? Well, PetSmart is like 150 miles away from our house. Yeah, we won't get that pet store. No, and we thought about going there but it's all the way in Traverse City and we didn't really have any other reason to go to Traverse City. And it's not as pretty of a drive as like going to Gaylord or Petoskey. Now if they got like a foot or more of snow. They have a lot of snow in there. I wanna go see Petoskey's snow though. Yeah, they... I think I wanna go get some pictures of downtown Petoskey. And even at that, I don't think they have a foot of snow. I don't think they do either. So, we decided we're gonna take them and we're gonna go to the store. So, and we're also, I have to run into since we started the video game channel, now I wanna go to GameStop. Yeah. So, I'm gonna run into GameStop while we're here too. We don't have anything like that in Alpena. I mean, we have a small pet store in Alpena but it's nothing like some of the ones over here. So we thought, look at how pretty this is. And there you go. We thought, since we got to... Wow, that's really deep snow. Since we got to look at this all the way over, we would go for a ride. So that's what we're doing. Look it, you can see how deep it is. You can see the cut through in the field. Can you see that? Oh, maybe not. That's where it's been blowing and drifting. And here, I'm sure this drifted over in me. But still, that's only like a foot and a half. Oh, you can see them trees over there! I have frozen ice. Frozen ice trees. I don't know if this camera will actually pick it up. But they're over there. Eh, it's too cool. Alright. If we were back in the hills... It would be real cool. Yeah. Anyway, there's some pretty snow for you. Yay! We drove down a... We drove down a side road so we could get some photos of these icy trees. I'm zoomed way in, so my camera is gonna be a bit shaky, but... You can see the ice frozen right on to the trees. All the way across this field. That's how far away we really are. Alright, we don't know if the camera is gonna pick this up as good as we see it, but look at it. It looks like little diamonds. Oh yeah, you can see it in the camera. Yeah. It's a field of diamonds. It's a field of snow diamonds. Yeah, you can see it. It's all shiny. You can tell even when I'm moving like this. Yeah! It's just kind of... Sparkle! Sparkle, yeah! Pretty cool! Yeah! Is that good stuff Shelby? Well, we just took Shelby and Oakley to the pet store. It was Oakley's first time ever going to a pet store. We're gonna put a little video together of it. For our Monday channel on the dogs channel. First experience! She did pretty good! They picked up some chew toys and I got her... Let's see if I can pull it out of here real quick. One of these bowls... It's supposed to slow them down eating and Oakley eats so fast. I thought, maybe I'll try it. I have to let you guys know how it works. We were driving past Boyne Mountain and I told Jamie I wanted to come watch some people go down this hill. This is something I've actually never done. Jamie's gone skiing before. You broke your leg skiing, didn't you? I tore the ligaments in my leg. When he was little. There's all these people coming down the hill! They look like little ants in the camera. Yeah, he's pretty good at skiing. Oh look! Jump! See the jump? There's another guy gonna come. No, I don't see him. Jump! Oh, I see him way over there in front of the trees. Oh, he almost wiped out. What does it say? It's back there behind the trees. Jump! Whoa! He disappeared after he jumped. There's a big tree in the way but you can... Oh, there comes another guy gonna do it. See if we can catch him coming up and over. Nope, he's gonna go around that jump. Nope. He's like, forget that! Oh, here comes two more. Yeah, they're beelining that jump. There's a tree right in the way. Whoa! And he's gonna get the next one. Awesome! Almost perfect. And he's going around to the others. Oh no, he's coming back this way. Crazy! That's fun. Yeah, I used to do exactly that. There's also, whenever I went, there was moguls. And that's where you got all the little bumps down the hill. Kind of in the center over there is a bunch of little bumps. Yeah, that kind of looks like moguls. Yeah, them are moguls. Oh yeah, way over here. Yeah, where there are all the bumps and you have to kind of stay in the bumps. If you get people going down them, you really watch that your skis, they rarely touch the ground. You're pretty much just floating down the mountain. Crazy. It was a lot of fun. I used to be able to ski backwards down a little slope like that. Just turn around and go backwards. No, thank you. Never tried snowboarding though. I'd probably be good at it. You would have been. No, I'm just old. We're gonna skip through here. Picked up some treats for the dogs. Found some new Skylander levels at Walmart. Yay! And now, we are heading to the casino for... We got $25 in free slot play. Hi honey. Thanks for that. So we're gonna go to the casino and play that real quick. And the dogs are gonna sit out here and eat these. Cause like, you can tell Oakley really wants it. Yay! We're in Petoskey and these are the houses. If you notice, they're like boarded up and have things over their windows. They're right across from the big bay. And most of them are vacation homes. So a lot of these people aren't here during the winter. So they protect all these big fancy houses from the storms while they go back down to Florida. I just thought that was... They're from Florida. Okay. Look it, they don't even plow the road. Nope, they don't even plow the road. All those houses back there are vacation homes. I'd like to have a freaking vacation home like that. Can you imagine what the real homes look like if those were their vacation homes? Yeah. Look, they didn't plow that road either. There's one all boarded up. Looks like a hurricane is gonna hit. It's hard to tell in this camera cause I can't zoom. But Jamie and I thought that was the sun in front of us. But really the sun is over there. It's a weird reflection that makes it look like the sun is in front of us. Yeah, you can see it through. Yeah, there's the sun. There's the weird reflection sun thing. What do you think Oakley? We're almost home. Made it back. Yay! The end. And we'll have to hook it up. Have to get the computer out here. We got the Xbox. We got the portal. We're gonna play Skylanders and try to record it and see how it works. It's all fancy and stuff. I have no idea how it works. Pretty sure you just plug some stuff in.
