SNOW HUNTING!!!!

And if you can tell, that crappy snowstorm that we got, we really didn't get that much snow at all. There's probably, well, there's a little bit more out here than at our house. Maybe an inch. You can still see people's grass. So because of the lack of snow, we're going for a ride. Maybe we'll find some. I think so. Rumor has it, the west side of the state got a lot more snow than we did. We were kind of like on the edge of the storm. The storm was coming across and then it came towards Alpena and kind of opened up and turned to rain and it snowed everywhere around us. And we got this little crappy bit of snow. There were places up in the Upper Peninsula that got 15 inches of snow. We should go north. Next weekend. We're going north next weekend. We're heading west. We're snow hunting. Well, we found some snow. I like it when the snow sticks on the trees like that. That's just cool. That's why so many places were out of power because it just pulls down the power lines. And the trees. So pretty. They definitely have more snow than we do and we're only like 30 miles from home. We're almost to Atlanta. Michigan, not Georgia. Look, this lake looks kind of frozen. I don't think I'd walk on it just yet. It's definitely partially frozen. Pretty cool. Look, more pretty snow. Now we're in Indian River, Michigan. They definitely got a lot more snow than we did. I love how it sticks to the trees. I think I said that already. Pretty. I like how we got a little bit of sun. A little bit of blue sky. And white. The lake looks kind of scary. White snow in the dark water. Is that Harbor Springs over there? Yes, up on the point. There's Harbor Springs over there. That's where Madonna's house is. Madonna has a house there, yes. Yes, Madonna has a house in Harbor Springs. We're in Petoskey. There's cool houses over there. Big houses. Look, a ski shop. Candy. Look at this giant bag of jelly beans we bought. They're all brown. They're the Jelly Belly Chocolate Dips. Raspberry, cherry. I think I have them on my teeth. Raspberry, cherry and what? Raspberry, cherry and something. I don't remember. Oh yeah. We went to the taffy barrel in Charlevoix just to get jelly beans. It's 16 miles away from the city we were going to. Because we were so close just to get jelly beans. And look at the water up here because it's really pretty. The drive from Petoskey to Charlevoix is really pretty. You can't really see it from where we're at. We're not to it yet. Yeah, you'll see it better in a second after this building. Wow. So that's the other reason we went this way. There's a little bit less snow on this side of town. It's pretty. We got to see the water and we got to get some jelly beans. Now we're going back to Petoskey. There's the water. And there it is. So pretty. Doesn't it look like a sombrero? Every time we come here I always think it looks like a sombrero. It looks like some sort of flatbread or hat. It needs a top to be a sombrero I guess. It's definitely Mexican style. Yeah, that's what it makes me think of. It's kind of interesting because this is an Indian casino. But it does. It looks like a sombrero. Okay, let's go win some money Jamie. We didn't win anything at the casino. Now we're driving through downtown Petoskey. Looking for lights and we found their downtown tree. It's bigger than our downtown tree. It is. It's pretty. It's definitely tall. Christmas lights. I like how they got lights on all their light poles. Pretty neat. Not too many people have their windows done up though. Not like our downtown. But it's still pretty. We're over in Petoskey. And now we're looking at some Christmas lights over here. Can you see the lights over the city? That's Petoskey way over there. We're on Harborview Drive I think it said. And that's the whole city. It's overlooking the city. And if it wasn't dark you could see water over there too. So now we're gonna see the lights up here. Yay! I like how this house has all snowflakes. Snowflakes and LED lights. There's some more houses lit up. These are really big houses back up in here. They sit on this big hill and they overlook the water. I think we made it to the end of the road. Cool place to live. That's all I want for Christmas is snow. Can you make that happen? Please? Jamie and I were gonna go look at Christmas lights last night. I'm like, oh we should do that and take the camera and video. You know look at the lights and all that. I'm like, oh we should wait until after the snow storm. That we're not getting. So sometime this weekend we're gonna go look at Christmas lights.
