Pray for a Miracle!

Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our best friend Jesus. I was just on my way to nature time. I heard that we're going to be learning a little bit more about hyenas with our friend Ryan from Canada. So come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville. Today we're going to be doing hyenas part two. Let's tune in. It seems that hyenas always have a bad reputation. In our last episode we learned that they have large heads and long front legs. They aren't pleasant to look at especially the spotted hyena with its scrappy fur drooling mouth and slanted back. The media shows them as evil creatures and so we see them as cowardly hateful animals that make annoying laughing sounds. Another reason why many people don't like hyenas is that they believe that they steal food from other animals and dig up dead things. The fact is that hyenas are Africa's best predators. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God it changed everything. Because of sin animals even people behave hatefully and how can we love those who are hateful? Luke chapter 6 verses 27 to 28 say I say to you who are listening to me love your enemies do good to those who hate you ask God to bless those who say bad things to you pray for those who are cruel to you it's pretty hard to like someone who's mean to you let alone love them but you know what Jesus says that with him anything is possible bye boys and girls thanks for tuning in see you next time just in time to check in on our friend Melissa I can't wait to find out how our week went let's go hi Pastor Anastasia it's really good to see you I'm afraid I have no time to talk wait what why are you in such a hurry I have a big project to finish for the science fair I worked really hard on this project because I really wanted to do well in the competition but I'm running out of time I'm so stressed out oh my it sounds like you could use some extra help Melissa I could but I don't know who to call at this late hour do you know anyone Pastor Anastasia I'm glad you asked I know someone who's available right now you guessed it it's Jesus we can always count on him when we reach out to God in prayer wait a minute that reminds me of our theme for this week which simply says pray for a miracle let me hear my friend Trevor say it pray for a miracle and our memory verse is found in Luke 18 27 and it simply says what is impossible with man is possible with God let me hear my friend Ariel say it what is impossible with man is possible with God Luke 18 27 great job everyone oh my goodness I can't believe I forgot to pray thanks for reminding me I sure could use a miracle right now glad to help never be afraid to ask God for what seems impossible that's why today's story is about a man who asked God for more time to win a fierce battle and he got it can you guess who today's story is about time to win a bet I know it's Joshua that's right my little friends today's story is about Joshua the terrifying news spread throughout Canaan of how the Israelites defeated Jericho fearful that they would share Jericho's fate five of the southern kingdoms decided to band together to attack the city of Gideon when Joshua learned about their evil plan the Israelite army marched out to help God's people Joshua had no reason to be afraid because God was on their side feeling confident in God Joshua prayed for what seemed to be impossible oh son stand still miraculously God answered his prayer the sun did not move until the battle was over the Amorite army was destroyed that day God's people were saved because Joshua was not afraid to pray for a big miracle wowzers Pastor Anastasia that story was truly out of this world if God can make the sun stand still he can definitely multiply my time too that's right Melissa no matter how impossible it may seem never be afraid to pray for a miracle boys and girls if you want to see more videos from Graceville please ask your parents to like or subscribe to our youtube channel hit like at the bottom of the page hit the like button below and subscribe subscribe bye
