Girls and welcome back to Graceville where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from the Philippines.
Where my friend Derek has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
That was amazing. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts and talents with Jesus
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share it with our friends.
Oh here we go on our way to nature time. I just can't wait to find out who or what we'll be
learning about today. It's always a treat with our friend Ryan from Canada. Come along with me.
Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at Graceville. Today we're going to be
talking about animal traits. Let's tune in. Some animals like to be alone. For example
bears are the most solitary carnivores in the world. They prefer trees or if they're polar bears
floating on a block of ice. Another solitary animal is the desert tortoise. They are alone
from the time they are hatched. These lonely reptiles have to avoid predators and find their
own food. On the other hand there are animals who like to stay in groups. For example female
mule deers take care of each other's fawns. When a mother goes off to graze she leaves her babies
with the other mothers to babysit. They would fight off other animals to protect their fawns.
Two other animals that help each other are coyotes and badgers. They join together to hunt.
The coyote chases the prey above ground and the badger takes over when they try to hide.
It's easiest for some people to make friends but harder for others. Romans 12 verse 18 says
if it is possible as far as it depends on you live at peace with everyone. Be kind and patient
with everyone no matter their personality. We are all unique in God's eyes. Bye boys and girls.
Thanks for tuning in. See you next time. Just on time to check in on Nico. I wonder what he's up
to today. Let's go. Hey past Anastasia. Me and my mom are working on something really really big.
Really? Tell me more. We're helping kids in our neighborhood learn new instruments.
That's wonderful Nico. It really is and the coolest part is that I get to lead out.
At first I wasn't really sure about it because I was afraid about speaking up because of my age
but I had my mom's help. I'm so happy that you decided to answer God's call. Oftentimes when
God calls us the task may seem too big for us to handle but the good news is we're never alone
because God will be with us every step of the way. Wait a minute that reminds me of our theme
for this week which simply says accept God's call. Let me hear my little friend Josiah in New
York say it. The theme for this week is to accept God's call and our memory verse is found in first
Thessalonians 5 verse 24 and it simply says the one who calls is faithful and he will do it. Let
me hear my little friend Jaden Lee say it. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
First Thessalonians 5 verse 24. Great job everyone.
Wow I never connected with this project God's call but now I feel bad about making excuses.
Don't beat up yourself Nico. With God on your side and your mom's help everything will turn out just
fine. That's why today's story is about a man who accepted God's call through a burning bush
to lead a whole nation. Can you guess what today's story is about? I know this one. It is one of God's
It is Moses and the burning bush. That's right my friends today's story is about Moses and the
burning bush. 40 years had passed since Moses left being a prince in Egypt and became a shepherd.
Everything was going well until something miraculous happened. It was the strangest
thing he'd ever seen. A burning bush that wasn't destroyed by the fire. Curiously
Moses moved closer to get a better look. Then out of nowhere he heard a voice. It was the voice of
God. He revealed his plan to Moses to rescue the Israelites from the Egyptians. At first
Moses was very afraid and made lots of excuses but God assured him that he had no need to fear Pharaoh
with God on his side. And his brother Aaron helped him too. Courageously Moses accepted God's call
and successfully led the Israelites to freedom. Whoa it's hard to imagine Moses being afraid
but I'm happy that he overcame his fears and accepted God. Me too. Worry, fear, and doubt can
never get the best of us when we remember that we can do all things through Christ who gives us
strength. So what are you waiting on? Accept God's call today!
