Boys and girls, and welcome back to Graceville, where God's love is everywhere.
It's me, Pastor Anastasia.
And I'm so excited that you've joined me today as we learn more
about our best friend, Jesus.
Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Puerto Rico, where my
friend, Nathan, has prepared a beautiful song just for us.
Let's listen in.
Thanks, Nathan.
Oh, boy, can he play the piano.
Boys and girls, remember, if you want to share the cool things that you're doing
at home to have fun while we're staying in, please ask your parents or guardians
to inbox me, and I'd be happy to share it with our friends.
Welcome again to Nature Talk at Graceville.
And today we have another student from Ms.
Hyde's class who wants to show us her cool pet.
Let's see what she has.
Hi, guys.
I'm Melissa.
And today I want you to meet my friend, Mokule.
He's an albino ball python.
He likes to go to recess with us and hang out with us.
Did you know that God said to Moses to put a snake up on a pole?
Whoever was bitten by a snake was to look up to the bronze snake and they lived.
This represents Jesus being lifted up on the cross.
I like to encourage you to keep looking up to Jesus.
This has been the Nature Time.
Bye.
Wow, Melissa, that was great.
You learned so much about your pet snake.
And if you guys want to do something like Melissa, just tell your parents
to contact Pastor Anastasia.
Can't wait to see you there.
Bye.
Oh, hey, guys.
I was just about to check out what Nico's up to today.
Let's go.
Where is he?
Um, what are you doing with that flashlight, Nico?
Did you lose something?
I was under the bed, behind the sofa and in my closet, but I still can't find him.
I know someone who can help.
He specializes in finding lost things and lost people.
Wait, really?
Who?
Yes, really.
And you know him, too.
I'm talking about Jesus.
That's why our theme for today is God's Love Finds Us.
Let me hear my friends in Russia say it.
God's love finds us.
Божья любовь находит нас.
Great job.
And our memory verse for today is found in Luke 19, verse 10.
And it simply says, the Son of Man has come to seek and save the lost.
The Son of Man has come to seek and save the lost.
Luke chapter 19, verse 10.
Awesome.
God's love has an amazing way of finding us no matter where we are.
Can we even find my Mr. Fluffy?
Most definitely.
That's why today's story is about a woman who never gave up on finding something very valuable that she had lost.
Can you guess who today's story is about?
Oh, I know.
It's the woman with the lost coins.
That's right, Jayden.
Our story is about the woman with the lost coin.
While Jesus was on earth, he taught everyone about God's love.
He often used stories called parables to help people better understand him.
One day, he told them a story about a woman who had 10 coins, one on her headband.
These coins were very important because it told everyone that she was married.
One day, she discovered that she had lost one of her precious coins.
Knowing that it fell somewhere in the house, she lit a lamp and started searching for it.
When that didn't work out, she took a broom and swept everywhere until finally she found her missing coin.
There it is.
She was so excited that she called all her friends and neighbors to celebrate with her, saying,
Rejoice with me, I have found that which was lost.
She's really persistent.
She sure did.
And just imagine, God loves us so much more that he sent his only son, Jesus, to come and save us when we were lost in sin.
He never gives up on us.
He will never stop searching for us because God's love always finds us.
Isn't that Mr. Fluffy?
