Cornhole Tournament Showdown Battle!

All right, welcome to Fountain City Metal Night. Metal Night. Spoiler alert, I don't metal. We've got, uh, this is a third place game. We've got Shane and Zach against... Alex and Garrett. Alex, this is, uh, Alex's first time down here. Yeah, and I don't think he should be allowed back. He's whooping everybody's butt. He's kicking everybody's butt. Garrett's in from school. He's, uh, it's good to see him. Yeah, that was a surprise. But a good surprise. So, here we are. These bags are live. The last one was a wash. 10-10 wash, and here we go. They're playing much better than I played, too. Yeah, I played like crap. I did, too. That's horrible. A 10 on six. Start to scorn. I blame Wag, though. Yeah, I blame Wag. He's not here, so I'm blaming him. Huh? So, we're sitting here. We're just trying to have a good time, and people are throwing over our heads. It's a little distracting. Yeah, and everybody's talking to us. We've had a good turnout today. We had, uh, what? 19. And a ghost. 19 and a ghost. So, it's good to see the crowd again. Yeah. Everybody was on a hiatus for some reason. They're back. But we were, we had a blast today. It was a, it was a great turnout. Great, great tournament. No issues. Some great throwers. Got to see some good stuff. But great shooting. Not by me. Yeah. But great shooting. Great shooting. Again, not by me. I did have a perfect game, though. It was only four rounds. Rub it in. Yeah. Who was that against again? Probably me. It was. We're sitting five, five nothing, Alex and Gary. Wag gave me a hiss cold, so I'm all congested. I can't think clearly. Eventually, Wag will make his appearance back to the tournaments on Fridays. But right now, he's out there umpiring tournament baseball, playoff baseball. Yeah. Oh my god. That's not like him. No, not at all. Bingo. Nice shot. What was that? 6-3. All right, we got both teams on the scoreboard. Nobody's on the track. Yeah. Shane with a level one walker. I'm not surprised to see Shane in the medals. No, definitely not. He has been throwing lights out all night. Yeah, he usually does. The pairing was top middle, which was selected by the 10 seed. Yeah. They chose top middle. I'm so surprised that I finally hit the wheel. Like, holy crap, I forgot about that. Yeah, I've never seen that one. That's the first time I liked that. I think he turned poorly. Yeah, I don't think it was a wise choice. He should have looked at the stats first. He would have placed himself better. Yeah, you gotta end for a wash. He says he's gonna do something stupid. Let's see, hold our breath. Taking a chance. Man, that was pretty stupid. Sometimes you gotta see what works. Obviously, I always look at everybody's stats before they start. Alex was throwing like a 9.17 or a 9, over a 9. And I was just like, oh my god, all right, this is gonna be a good day. Is he local? I think he rode with Ben Barron. So that's like, here it is. I think an hour and a half drive for that to come down here. He's making it worth his while. Yeah, so both these teams are in for a medal. How much money are they gonna win? That's true. I don't care how little. We got karaoke going on in the background, so you can hear it. Oh, good push. Which I think is cool to see father-son battle here. Shane and Garrett. There you go. Shane and Zach are throwing the pro snipers. And Zach and, or I'm sorry, Alex and Garrett are throwing, I don't, lucky charms. Yeah, the lucky charms. I don't know what they are, what those are. They're herringbone, so they're slow. Those pro snipers are just gonna go in the hole every single time. Yeah. Oh, except when you do that. Nice collection, Garrett. I wonder if Garrett's been playing while he's been at school. The last time River and Cole were teamed up, they didn't even place. Yeah, it's redemption. And Cole has been gone for a month. He said literally has not played since last time he was here. Yeah, he took some time off. Did some, had some work thing. So to make it to the ship, your first day back, staying good. Yeah. Sometimes taking that mental, that mental break. Yeah. Is really helpful. Actually helps your game. If I took a break for a month, I'd be starting from ground zero again. I'd be like, teach me how to throw again. How do I throw? All right, well, we're sitting 4-0 right now. I don't, I don't think this will be a 21-0. No. I actually thought we'd see a lot of washing in this. I did think of doing some washes, but right now Garrett can just put it on for two. There you go. Interesting round. Yeah. Not characteristic of these guys. I'm predicting a 12-12 wash right here. I love playing, you know, where he's across the board or next to me. Just so I could, I just try and learn so much from him. And, uh, yeah. I put my emotions out for everybody to see. River be like, yeah, bro, switching bags. Unless Cole locks in. That's what I'm predicting is going through River's head right now. I want my 1839 bag right now. I've thrown those bags at Cole's. They're pretty slow. They're very slow. This is game one. So River and Cole have to be double-dipped. Yeah. You like to not have to go that route. I don't think people understand that either. How hard it is to get paired up with somebody and compromise on a bag together. Yeah, it's so tough. It's really hard. A random partner. It's tough. I mean, you got your great shooters who could shoot with anything. But most of us, we have a preference. 10-7. No, 10-4. You all can see the PPRs. River, he's on fire. He's all business. Yeah. You're going to see River start throwing some lockers up here, trying to slow him down. He's got to figure out how to get in Alex's way. Alex is not stopping. Yeah.
