Those in favor say aye.
Aye!
Those in favor say no.
No!
It's the opinion of the chair that the ayes have it and the resolution is agreed to
and without objection the motion to reconsider is laid on the table.
These people are just idiots. I really, you know, I'm at the point where it's become really hard to
have an intellectual debate with any of these people because the level of stupidity that they
are displaying every single day it's frankly embarrassing not just in Congress but as
Americans and the fact that these people are allowed to say just the most ridiculous things
tells you that the the dumbing of the United States has arrived because
how else do we get a Trump presidency again?
To be coming out of our country, I mean I grew up in a dictatorship and I don't even remember
ever witnessing anything like that. To have a democracy, a beacon of hope for the world to
now be turned into one of the, you know, one of the worst countries where the military are in our
streets without any regard for people's constitutional rights while our president
spending millions of dollars prompting himself up. Ladies and gentlemen, Ilhan Omar just
discovered one of life's great truths. If you build a boomerang, don't stand in front of it.
Now for years Ilhan Omar mocked America, trashed Israel and even called Americans
idiots but then came the twist. Kevin McCarthy, he reached into the political closet, pulled out
Nancy Pelosi's old rule book, dusted that sucker off and said, well if this worked for you it
should work for us. Boom. Omar was removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Democrats
erupted and Washington reacted like somebody had just unplugged the fog machine at a Broadway
production of Rules For Thee But Not For Me. Now here's where it gets even better guys.
Donald Trump warned about Ilhan Omar for years. Mark Levin unloaded and millions of ordinary
Americans looked at this political soap opera and said, wait, so the rules actually apply to
everyone now? That my friends is exactly what we're breaking down today. So if you appreciate
and enjoy watching political boomerangs come back at warp speed, subscribe to the channel right now.

the description down below this video. Also their phone number for chapter is 909-563-8279. It is
totally free and the average senior saving about $1,100 a year. And of course, if you enjoy the
breakdown, leave a like for me on the way out. So I want to go ahead and start with the moment
that sent Washington into full blown hysterics. So the US House of Representatives voted to remove
Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. And you would have thought that
Congress had just announced that oxygen was being discontinued. Democrats were completely outraged.
I mean, there was shouting, there were tears, there was even like dramatic speeches that
sounded like auditions for a daytime soap opera called As the Capital Turns.
Now, according to them, this wasn't a committee vote. Oh no, this was racism. This was fascism.
This was apparently the end of democracy as we know it, Western civilization and
possibly even brunch. But here's the part that they really didn't want anybody to notice.
This was their rule. This was the exact precedent created by Nancy Pelosi herself
when Democrats stripped Republicans of committee assignments. And at the time,
Democrats called it accountability. So now that the political boomerang came flying right back and
hit Ilhan Omar squarely in the forehead, suddenly it's now a constitutional crisis.
Funny how that works, right? Those in favor say aye. Those in favor say no.
It's the opinion of the chair that the ayes have it and the resolution is agreed to.
And without objection, the motion to reconsider is laid on the table.
I didn't come to Congress to be silent. I came to Congress to be their voice and my leadership
and voice will not be diminished if I am not on this committee for one term. My voice will get
louder and stronger and my leadership will be celebrated around the world as it has been.
I am here to stay and I am here to be a voice against harms around the world and advocate for
a better world. And so of course the timing could not have been any worse for Ilhan Omar.
Just before this vote, she appeared with Mehdi Hassan and called Americans idiots.
This is exactly all. Now this is always a bold strategy, right? Insult the very people whose
tax dollars pay your salary, your paycheck, and then act stunned when they don't send you flowers.
Yeah. So Omar blamed what she called the dumbing of the United States for the return of Donald
Trump. In other words, if Americans disagree with her, the problem must be Americans. And apparently
anybody who voted for Donald Trump must be dumb, according to Ilhan Omar. What do you think about
that? I think that's rather absurd. Now this is not exactly a winning campaign slogan, is it?
Vote for me, you morons. Yeah, brilliant.
I think these people are just idiots. I really, you know, I'm at the point
where it's become really hard to have an intellectual debate with any of these people
because the level of stupidity that they are displaying every single day is frankly embarrassing,
not just in Congress, but as Americans. And the fact that these people are allowed
to say just the most ridiculous things tells you that the dumbing of the United States has arrived
because how else do we get a Trump presidency again? So millions of Americans watching at home
just saw something that they've suspected for years, a political class that lectures them
nonstop. Meanwhile, they're treating them like they're too stupid to notice the hypocrisy.
This is the real story here, guys. So it's not just Ilhan Omar losing her stupid little seat,
but it's more like the same rules Democrats cheered under Nancy Pelosi suddenly became
dangerous when Republicans used them. Wow. This is when the panic really began.
To be coming out of our country. I mean, I grew up in a dictatorship and I don't even remember
ever witnessing anything like that. To have a democracy, a beacon of hope for the world to
now be turned into one of the worst countries where the military are in our streets without
any regard for people's constitutional rights, while our president is spending millions of
dollars prompting himself up like a failed dictator with a military parade. It is really
shocking and it should be a wake up call for all Americans to say this is not the country we were
born in. This is not the country we believe in. This is not the country our founding fathers
imagined. And this is not the country that is supported by our constitution, our ideals,
our values. And we should all collectively be out in the streets rejecting what is taking place
this week. So Kevin McCarthy looked at what Nancy Pelosi did to Republicans and basically said,
so we're all agreed this is acceptable now, right? Right. I mean, so you've got to admire
the simplicity. Nancy Pelosi spent years changing the rules of Washington. Kevin McCarthy simply
picked up Nancy Pelosi's handbook and flipped to chapter seven and read it back to Democrats
word for word. Now, suddenly Democrats acted like he had discovered fire and Republicans argued that
this was not personal. This is just accountability. Funny how that works, right? This was
about whether someone serving on the House Foreign Affairs Committee should repeatedly make comments
that critics viewed as anti-Semitic and hostile to Israel. That committee represents the United
States to the world. Now, when it comes to Congresswoman Omar, based upon what she had said,
the anti-Semitic comments, it's all about the Benjamins. The military in America is equal to
Hamas and the Taliban. On 9-11, something happened that day. Even the former Democratic chair of the
committee believed her comments were wrong. When a resolution was brought up to deal with this last
time, she never apologized. They changed the resolution to say anti-Semitism is wrong.
We're not removing her from other committees. We just do not believe when it comes to foreign
affairs, especially the responsibility of that position around the world with the comments that
you make. She shouldn't serve there. But this is what the clear, if it was tit for tat, we would
have picked people, took them off all committees and said nothing about it. We don't believe in
that. I just had a conversation with the minority leader, Hakeem Jeffries. What I asked him to do
was to select a couple members, along with himself and mine, and I have a couple members. One's going
and some others. And I think what we should do is put into the rules. There is a code of conduct
here, but I don't know the definition exactly what all that's going to mean. I think that
should be clear. So if there is a concern, it's not tit for tat. But I think in moving forward,
every single member of Congress has a responsibility to how they carry themselves.
Let me finish the question. And it's responsible upon us to let them know what that is,
and then what is the due process in a bipartisan way that we can deal with it.
So I'm going to put a group of Democrats that Hakeem will select, a group of Republicans,
and we'll work to come and clarify the rules and pass something for not only this Congress,
but future Congresses as well. There's an acrimony right now in Congress.
It's not exactly where you want somebody who keeps on stepping on diplomatic rakes
again and again and again. Republicans pointed to Ilhan Omar's past remarks about Israel,
her infamous, some people did something comment about 9-11, and comparisons between America and
terrorist groups. Their argument was simple. If you consistently generate international
controversy, maybe the Foreign Affairs Committee is not the ideal role for you right now.
That's kind of like hiring somebody who hates treadmills to run a gym. Yeah. Or how about
putting a vegan in charge of a Texas barbecue festival? Technically, it's possible,
but probably not the best fit. And here's the part that Democrats really hated, right?
Kevin McCarthy, he didn't invent some new rule. He just used theirs. This is why their story
resonated so deeply, because people can tolerate almost anything except blatant hypocrisy.
And this was hypocrisy in 4K resolution. Folks, share this video with a friend who always says
rules for thee and not for me, because if political karma had an employee of the month award,
this would be it. So then, of course, came the performance, right? The tears, the trembling
voices, the dramatic pauses. Democrats took to the floor of the US House of Representatives
as if they were accepting an award for the best emotional monologue in a political drama.
Rashida Tlaib declared that Republicans were weaponizing hate against a black Muslim woman.
Other Democrats insisted that this was racism, bigotry, Islamophobia. In short,
every alarm bell in the political firehouse was pulled at the exact same time. But,
of course, there was one small problem. This wasn't about Ilhan Omar's identity.
This is about her statements. That distinction matters a whole lot. Critics argue that Omar's
repeated comments about Israel, Jewish influence, and American foreign policy
made her a poor fit for the House Foreign Affairs Committee. That's it.
Because when she said that, right, Debbie? I mean, when she said that, she was evoking violence
on Muslims all across our country. And so it's important to know, of course, Ilhan Omar,
when I check up on her, she's like, sis, I survived war. I can survive this. She says
that so that I can stop crying. But I also know that this is hard. This is hard for all of us.
Women in politics, the violence towards us is increasing. I mean, Debbie, I remember when you
were getting them. I remember all of us. I mean, it's just overwhelming. And all we wanna do is
serve the community that raised us, the community that brought us here. We do it so much from love.
And so I just want you all to know that I am so incredibly grateful that you all are up here and
sponsoring a resolution. We shouldn't have to beg and urge Republicans to do what's right here.
They have Muslims in their communities. I know they do. They call me to say, well,
how can I talk to them? How can I get them to see us? Rashida, I have a clinic in their community.
I do this nonprofit work in their community. How come they don't see us as neighbors,
as fellow Americans? It is hard. It is hard being Muslim in our country right now.
And this makes it worse. And so let me tell you, it is important for us to understand.
This is a national platform that we cannot allow her to use to evoke not only, this is not only
hate. And I think Barbara Lee, you put it perfectly. It's not just hate speech, which is
god awful. But it's also hate speech that's evoking violence and danger towards a whole
people in our country. You called a colleague a suicide bomber. You called her a terrorist.
You're evicting and by saying that you said it about all Muslims in our country and you know it.
You know exactly what you were doing and you have to be held accountable.
We can't continue to say that bigotry has no place in our society, that violence has no place
and then not take any action, to be completely silent, to dismiss it.
My two sons deserve to grow up in a country where their faith or religion will not be used as a
target. Muslims across our country deserve representatives on both sides of the aisle
who will embrace them, not vilify them. Democrats responded as if Republicans had
outlawed feelings. And this is when the double standard became impossible to ignore.
When Nancy Pelosi and Democrats removed Republicans from committees,
it was hailed as courage, necessary, historic. The adults were finally in charge. But when Kevin
McCarthy applied that same standard to Ilhan Omar, suddenly democracy was hanging by a thread.
Apparently accountability is only noble when your team is doing the accounting.
The moment the same medicine was served back to the Democrats, they reacted as if they had
been poisoned. And millions of Americans watching from home saw exactly what was happening.
The rules weren't the issue. The issue was that for once the rules applied to everybody.
And for some people in Washington, this was just simply unacceptable.
So now let's go ahead and rewind this tape, shall we? Because long before this vote,
Donald Trump had been sounding the alarm about Ilhan Omar.
Trump repeatedly questioned why someone who seemed to criticize the United States
at every opportunity was being treated as some kind of untouchable political celebrity.
And whether you agree with Trump or not, one thing is undeniable. He saw this clash coming
from a mile away. Trump's argument was simple. If you are elected to serve America, maybe,
just maybe, you should not sound like America is the villain in every story.
Not exactly a radical concept.
And then came Mark Levin. And Mark Levin did what Mark Levin does best.
He didn't use a scalpel. He used a flamethrower.
So Levin argued that Ilhan Omar had spent years attacking
the very nation that gave her refuge after she fled Somalia.
In his view, removing Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee wasn't punishment,
it was common sense. And that argument resonated with a lot of conservatives.
Not because they objected to Omar's background. Quite the opposite.
Many people pointed to her story as proof that America does offer extraordinary opportunity.
A refugee from Somalia comes to the United States,
settles in Minnesota, and then rises all the way up to Congress. This is the American dream.
But critics say that instead of gratitude, Ilhan Omar often seemed to offer contempt.
And that contrast struck a nerve. For many Americans, this was never about identity.
It was about a very simple question. Should someone who regularly condemns America be
entrusted to represent America abroad? For Republicans and conservatives,
the answer was a resounding no. And for millions who are watching at home,
that answer seemed less controversial than the media wanted everybody else to believe.
So this is where the story stopped being just another Washington food fight.
Because ordinary Americans, they saw themselves in this. Not in the committee drama,
not in the cable news shouting, but in the basic principle at stake, fairness.
If you have kids, you know exactly what this means. If one child gets punished for breaking
the rules while the other one gets a free pass, what happens? It'd be all sorts of chaos. Resentment.
A full-scale rebellion in the backseat before you even reach the driveway.
The same is true at work. If one employee gets written up while another employee who
does the exact same thing gets promoted, people stop respecting management.
This is exactly what many Americans feel about Washington.
One set of rules for the political elite, another set for everybody else.
And this is why this story connected. So while members of Congress were delivering
Oscar-worthy speeches, families across the United States were worrying about groceries and
inflation, mortgage payments, and whether they could afford to fill up their gas tanks.
They looked at this spectacle and they thought, must be nice to have this much free time.
But there is a bigger lesson here, guys. Washington has become trapped in this
revenge cycle. Nancy Pelosi escalated. Kevin McCarthy answered. Then everyone acted shocked
that trust in government keeps sinking faster than a lead balloon.
And that brings us to the real takeaway here, guys. If you create a political system where
rules are used as weapons, don't clutch your pearls when those same weapons are turned around.
This is exactly what happened to Ilhan Omar. The rules finally applied to everyone.
And for millions of Americans, this wasn't a scandal. It was a refreshing change of pace.
So, what do you think? Was Ilhan Omar's removal accountability,
retaliation, or was it the moment that Washington got a long-overdue taste of its own medicine?
Let me know what y'all think in the comments. I'll be reading them all. And if you enjoyed
