Hell Hole Lake High Uintas Wilderness, Utah

Alright, we might be a quarter mile in. We have crossed a stream. We have crossed a marsh. And the thunder is chasing us. We have just left the logging type road we were on. Now we are back on single track. Probably at least two and a half miles from the lake. And it is dark to the south where we are going. Well Damien and I have made it to the lake. Our other three guys are still making their way up. We kind of pushed on because every time we'd stop it was just getting swarmed with mosquitos. So we just wanted to keep pushing. Scouting out camps right now. Got our packs over there by the trail. So hopefully those guys can find us pretty easy. Alright, well it's morning day two here at Hell Hole Lake. We got into camp pretty late last night. But so far Damien and Bonk are killing it at the lake. The reports say that the lake is either hot or not. And I guess this year it's hot. So looks like we'll be eating fish tonight. We're about to take a little walk around the lake. And then just kind of enjoy the day. We'll head out tomorrow. Morning at Hell Hole Lake. We are packed up and we are about ready to make the five mile walk out. Should be a pretty good walk. Now we're about a mile out of the lake. Beautiful day for a hike. It's getting warm. What a great trip.
