KFC's Latest Absolute Shambles Burger

How are we all doing out there? I hope you're all absolutely spot on, I know I am. It's a glorious day, the sun's shining so, doesn't half make you feel better doesn't it when the sun's shining. Anyway, enough of the sun shining, we'll go to KFC. About five months ago they brought a hot honey drip burger out and they've decided to bring out another drip burger. Barbecue drip burger, so let's go and see what it's like. It's a barmy 16 degrees, we're here. Let's have a look, a new barbecue dipping feast. They do all sorts of stuff here, yeah. I'm going for the burger, I think they do chicken sort of dippers as well, dip bites. I might be wrong there with that terminology. So I've got a burger and I've got some sauce as well. What a lovely lady in there, she had all the sauces out, she was showing me them. So I've got a sauce, recommended by the woman who works in there in KFC, so I'll be looking forward to trying it. Yeah, what a lovely service. So they do bites as well, barbecue bites. So I've got the burger, I've got a mango masala, what is it, I'll just get it out and show you. This was a recommendation from the girl who worked in there, mango masala, she said it's very, very nice. 75p for that, and the sticky barbecue burger was £6.99. So a grand total of £7.74p. So I just thought I'd try that mango masala, I've got nothing to dip it in, I suppose you can get some chips if you want. I just wanted to try this, there it is in there, that's what you get. So I'll get it out, I'll get a thumbnail, oh it's very messy, it is. Yeah, she gave me some serviettes, oh that was close, it nearly went. There it is. Right, so you get, I'm just going to put it back, I'll put it on that side, that side's better. Forgot my tray. There's your brioche toasted bun, look how flat that is. You get some cheese on there, looks like you get some of them crispy onions, the sort of crispy onions like you get in Morrisons. You get some lettuce, and you get that barbecue sort of drip sauce everywhere, and it is going everywhere, look. So, yeah. Yeah, it's freshly made. I was, I went through the drive-thru, obviously. Well you're seen anyway! I'll just wipe my hands. Yeah, so I'll try this, no I'll try the sauce first, I'll see what the sauce is like. Yeah, there it is, it's half full. It's half full. Just going to get my finger in. Mmm, that is lovely, wow. I love mango chutney, I like masala as well. Mmm, like a curried, a curried sweet chutney sauce. Yeah, it's very sweet like chutney, like mango chutney, and it's got the masala spices in there. It's lovely. Oh, that is tasty. Oh yeah, 40 grams. That was a good recommendation. So I'm going to try this now, the main event. You get box meals as well, I mean, I have got to try, I'm not going to order everything, that is barbecue, which is drip, because I'm trying to watch my weight, and I don't like wasting food. If I ordered it all, I'd have to eat it all. I don't like, I couldn't, I hate throwing food away, I hate it. So that's why I don't order everything, and I used to order sort of the meal deals, because it works out better for you. You're still paying more than a normal burger, but it works out better if you get chips and a drink overall, you know. But I used to eat everything, and I started putting loads of weight on, and I'm trying to cut, I'm trying to watch, not watch what I eat, because I've got a seafood diet. I eat everything, but you know, you have to sort of tip, you have to sort of be careful. Anyway, I'm going to get into this. Mmm. That sauce is a bit, I'm going in again, I'm going in again. It's dripping, all that lettuce is falling out. Give me a field of lettuce. Yeah, I don't know if it's because I've had that mango masala. It might have upset my sort of taste buds, but I can't work it out. It's a barbecue sauce, but it's not massively barbecue-y, if that makes any sense. Oh, it's warm in here. It's warm, I should have opened the window. I normally do crack a window open at the back to just let a bit of cool air in, but I forgot. I'm starting to sweat, I'm getting a bit of a sweat on in here. Try this as well, try to tell you what I'm thinking. The cheese is lost, completely lost in it. I can't taste any cheese. There's loads and loads of slippage juice, i.e. sauce, to help it go down. That is certainly doing that. It ain't dry, although the fillet is a little bit dry. It's got a nice crunch on the outside. I can taste the crispy onion there, lovely. I do like crispy onion. That's just, and there's mayonnaise on there as well. I've no idea why there's mayonnaise on there, but it looks like mayonnaise. Right, I'm going to try this bit here. Oh no, that bit is better. I was eating, there's too much mayonnaise on it. That's why, it was confusing me. It was mixing in with the barbecue sauce. I got a bite then with pretty much barbecue sauce on. It's very sticky, that's for sure. I don't know what the sugar content is on this, but I would imagine it's very, very high. Would I buy it again? It's not shouting out to me, this is lovely, barbecue-y, this is tasty. It's not, it's just not. I wouldn't buy it again, my personal opinion. I did prefer that hot honey one. That was nice, that was nice. Don't think they do it now, it's a limited time. I would imagine this is a limited time as well. But yeah, how much was it? £6.99, £7, yeah. Right, well, that's that. My verdict is, I wouldn't buy it again. It's new, I'm glad I tried it. I won't be trying it again. It's gone down my top. I know I should have brought my tray, I forgot. I didn't realise it was half way here. I should have put some serviettes in my t-shirt. I'm going to have to put a clean t-shirt on now. Get one ironed and get one on. Thanks for watching.
