Hello friends, welcome back to my channel and if you're new here, welcome.
In today's video I'll be decorating my kitchen for summer.
Here's a look at the kitchen before I start decorating.
Everything is clean and ready for a seasonal refresh.
On this side of the kitchen I'm going to start by adding these wooden cutting boards.
I love the warmth they bring to the space.
And I'm adding this utensil holder here.
It's from the Pioneer Woman collection at Walmart
and I love the texture it brings to this little area.
I'm also adding my everyday utensils.
I like keeping them out on the counter where they're easy to reach while I'm cooking.
I'm placing this basket next to the coffee maker.
I recently moved my coffee maker to this side of the kitchen
and I thought it would be nice to create a little coffee corner here.
I'm also adding this little olive plant from Walmart.
I like bringing in a touch of greenery because it helps the space feel fresh and lived in.
I'm also adding this coffee canister from HomeGoods.
I'm also placing my son's favorite coffee syrup here.
It's one of those little things that's always part of our coffee station.
For the sugar I'm using this little canister.
I love the blue and white pattern and it fits in perfectly with the rest of the coffee station.
I'm adding this little lemon plate that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.
I shared it in a recent shopping haul and I knew I wanted to use it somewhere in the kitchen.
I'm also adding these little wooden spoons.
They're perfect for the coffee station and add a nice natural touch.
I'm really happy with how this coffee station is turning out.
Everything is coming together so nicely.
For this corner I'm using this yellow kitchen towel.
I think it adds a nice pop of color.
I'm also adding these little espresso cups.
I think they look so cute sitting here next to the coffee maker.
I found this little sign from Hobby Lobby that I've had for a long time.
I thought it would be perfect for this spot.
I'm placing my magnolia table cookbook here.
It's one of my favorite cookbooks and I like keeping it within easy reach.
I'm also adding these wooden cutting boards.
I love decorating with cutting boards in the kitchen because they add so much warmth and character.
This vase is from Target and I've always loved this classic shape.
I think it's the perfect piece for this little corner.
I'm adding this yellow peonies to the vase.
I love the soft yellow color and I think they work really well with the rest of the decor.
I'm placing this little lamp here.
I love how it adds a cozy feel to this corner of the kitchen.
This little lemon print was a Hobby Lobby clearance find.
It was only $5.99 and I think it works perfectly in this area.
I'm placing these little cutting boards from the Pioneer Woman collection at Walmart.
They came in a set of three and I think they look so cute layered here.
I'm also adding this little vase from Home Goods.
I've had it for a while and I think it's the perfect finishing touch for this corner.
I'm filling the vase with these hydrangeas from Amazon.
I love how they brighten up the corner and tie everything together.
I'm adding this marble riser to the countertop.
I love the contrast between the marble and the wood tones and it helps bring everything together.
I'm adding this little canister and an olive oil bottle to the marble riser.
They're both practical pieces that I use often but I also love how they look here.
And I'm also placing this cute lemon salt and pepper shaker set on top.
I love the pop of color it adds and it ties in perfectly with the lemon artwork in the background.
I'm using this small dish to display these lemon measuring spoons.
I love mixing decorative and functional pieces
and I think they fit perfectly with the summer theme.
On top of the stove I'm placing this spoon rest that I picked up at Target.
It's a simple addition but it's both practical and decorative.
Since I moved the coffee maker I had this empty corner to decorate.
I'm adding this wooden cutting board.
I'm also adding this olive wood board.
I love the rich tones and unique grain pattern.
I'm placing this cookbook here.
I think it adds a nice layered look to the space and I love having it within easy reach.
I'm adding this vase with a few faux greenery stems.
I think they add height, texture and a fresh look to this corner.
I'm adding this candle warmer lamp that I picked up at Ross.
The shape is what caught my attention right away
and I think it's such a pretty accent piece for this space.
Now let's move over to the sink area.
I'm starting by placing this marble riser.
I love using risers in the kitchen because they add a little height
and make everyday items feel more intentional and decorative.
On top of the marble riser I'm placing this lemon soap dispenser.
I'm also adding this small dish from Hobby Lobby.
And on top of it I'm placing this wooden scrub brush.
I love mixing practical pieces with decorative ones
and together they create a simple but charming little sink side vignette.
The lemon detail ties everything together perfectly
and adds a cheerful summer touch to the space.
For the floor I'm adding this kitchen rug.
I love the pattern and the soft colors
and it helps bring a little warmth and texture to the space
while making the kitchen feel even more cozy.
I love the way this rug looks in here.
The colors are beautiful
and the texture adds so much warmth and coziness to the space.
Here on the oven I'm hanging these kitchen towels that I found at HomeGoods.
They're from Ralph Lauren and I couldn't resist the lemon print.
It ties in perfectly with the rest of the summer decor.
Now I'm adding this little tablecloth.
Now it's time to decorate the kitchen island.
I'm placing this tray that I found at HomeGoods.
I love the soft neutral colors and the texture.
I'm also adding this riser from HomeGoods.
It adds a little height and dimension to the tray
which helps everything feel more layered and collected.
If you watched my last video you might recognize these little plates.
I found them at a thrift store and I thought they'd be perfect for this vignette.
On top I'm placing this little canister from the Pioneer Woman collection at Walmart.
The little bird is such a sweet touch for summer.
To add a little more height I'm placing this decorative book in the tray.
Next I'm adding this white pitcher that I found at Hobby Lobby.
I was immediately drawn to its classic shape and timeless look.
The curved handle and simple silhouette make it such a versatile piece
and it adds a nice touch of height to the arrangement.
I'm adding this acacia wood bowl that I've had for several years.
And I'm filling it with these fall lemons that I picked up on Amazon.
They add the perfect pop of color
and help tie in the fresh summer inspired theme throughout the kitchen.
To complete the centerpiece I'm adding these greenery stems
along with a few lemon stems.
I love mixing different textures to give arrangements a more natural and layered look.
The greenery keeps everything feeling fresh
while the lemons bring in that cheerful pop of color
that ties in beautifully with the rest of the summer decor.
I think they really bring this whole vignette to life.
And that's how my kitchen is looking for summer.
I love how bright and fresh it feels with all the lemon touches,
greenery and soft blue accents.
It's simple, cheerful and ready for the season ahead.
