AI GeneratedThe speaker spends a high-energy day at the Swatch Nines 2026 in Sölden, pushing the limits of e-bikes and traditional mountain bikes. The session includes tackling massive freeride lines, performing a 60-foot backflip on an e-bike, practicing skate park tricks, and testing new jump lines in the bike park before concluding a successful week of riding.
I'm out of the Swatch 9's 2026 and today is e-bike day. We've got the canyon torque on,
we're about to hit the huge freeride line. Let's get into it. Oh, that's scary!
Okay, that's so much speed on there. Whoa, there we go. First lap on the big one. I went so big on
like more than half of the landing, I think. It's quite scary, like not knowing the speed at all,
but let's get up there and see how much further we can get down it. Oh, that's sick.
Woo-hoo!
Yeah, that's the best!
Yes, first full lap through the freeride line. It feels absolutely amazing, what a sick feeling,
but now we've got to see if we can get some 60 foot backflips going on the EBE. Let's get back
up there. This is so good. I'm just lapping around quicker than the riders in the uplift.
Love it. Back to the top. The entrance to the freeride line is pretty sick as well.
Oh, okay, dropping. Oh, it's slow and scary.
Woo!
Yes, Sam. Managed to get that huge 60 foot flip on the EBE. Now we've switched to the skate park
section. Oh yeah, they've got such a fun setup down here. George turned up, he's going to show us
how to do this. It's so annoyingly easy. Oh my God, it's terrifying.
Imagine you're like riding on your bike, your head is like here.
Yeah, yeah, true. So the distance of you coming back is not pretty much.
Yeah, yeah. You don't really do a lot of pullbacks.
It looks too easy, doesn't it?
Wowzers, that's difficult.
What happened?
Oh my scariness.
Okay, so slower then, yeah?
Yeah, that's nice. I get it now. Oh, what a horrible thing to just try straight up.
So it's like I can pull harder back now and less flip?
Yeah, you don't even have to.
Yes, that's terrifying. Yo, cheers, bro. I can't believe it. My bloody arm.
Where are we going now, Isaac? Oh my God.
We are going to try the actual bike park. It's getting a bit windy
and there's a new fun jump there.
73 kilometers an hour we were going. We're about to blast a new jump line
that the guys from the Nines built here in Solden, which is going to be cool.
Matt and Harry Gascoyne are in the lift behind. It's going to be a well fun little sesh.
So let's enjoy our day.
Go on then, Matt. Let's see some steez. There we go.
Wow, I'm so close to you. Oh my God, we almost died then.
We're going to have to hit this again.
Oh, this is cool. That was a triple.
Oh my God, that was a triple. I was nose diving into that.
Oh, that's sick, that slidey bit.
Wow, that's aggressive. It's hopper.
Oh, triple case that.
That was way too short. That's the nightmare of new trails first go.
Yes, this is sick. That's actually an unreal trail.
Wow. Oh, there's some wooden features. Quick.
Oh my God. We could go down the mountain cart track.
Move. On the left, on the left.
Yeah, what a great little sesh. That was actually really nice.
He's going to do it way better than me. Like, look.
Oh, way, way better than mine. Yes. Wow.
Oh, yeah.
Go Harry. First time behind the wheel.
It's actually so gnarly to do that on it. Oh, look at it.
We've come up to the top, switch bikes, new Canyon strive on shredding laps.
Yeah. A little bit of race motoring. Oh, this feels nice.
Wow. Oh, I kept stones in my own head.
Oh, so close again. That was so dangerous.
Right. I'm going to manual control, put the hover there and then do an air.
Right. Hover air is up. Let's get a tabs on this quarter.
Wow. It's the final day of a long week here in Solden for the nines. It's been absolutely
amazing. I actually smashed my foot a bit on that Red Bull shoe on the mini bike. I didn't
get a clip of it. You'll see it when the video comes out. So my whole heel is bruised. It's
really annoying. So I'm going to finish off for another e-bike mission for this little
show. We've got two hours now to show the locals and anyone that's turned up what we
get up to here at the nine. So let's get a couple of laps.
Train edge. We're out here doing some sort of, oh no, they all go the other way. Oh,
that's terrifying.
I didn't want to jump too big then.
Wow. It's windy.
Wow. It's so windy, isn't it? Oh, Peter Kaiser is going off.
It's quite windy.
And just like that, the swatch nines is done for 2026. It's been an amazing week. Epic weather,
good riding. I did come away with a bit of a smash, which left some sort of uncomfiness.
So I didn't do the most trips this week, which is a bit annoying. Had an amazing time on the
e-bike though, shredding the bike park. It was just a great week,
sick to see everyone and hang out. Hope you guys enjoyed it. See you in the next one.
