Swimming Pool Day For the Dogs | First Vlog Without Memphis

Catch it Elf! Yeah, good catch! That's what she wants to do. So, part of me does not want to start this video off the way I always do, but part of me does. Good wonderful beautiful audience. Today is June the 11th. This is the first day I picked up the camera to actually vlog. I did film that video the day after Memphis passed away that I uploaded here, but today officially starts the videos with just two dogs. This sucks. There's no other way. You guys know this sucks. There's no other way to put it, right? Oh, oh, what is it? What is it? What is it? What is this? What is this? Oh my, oh my goodness. Look at this. Look at this. Here I come. Kira's like, guys look, look how happy I am. I'm having a pretty good day. Two's hanging out. I love you, sweet girl. Yeah, I see you. You want more, I know. Yeah. Thank you, Kira. I love you, too. I love you, too. Thanks for being goofy. Anyway, um, yeah, today's the first day. The first vlog of the new age, a new era. The, I don't know what to call it, but I guess we're gonna keep on doing this. Fair warning. It's warm out there. It's 83 degrees out there already. Ready? Three, two, one, go. Look, the trike. Jamie got the trikes out. They're going straight for the garage. It's warm. It's kind of crazy. Jamie cut the grass. It looks so nice. Uh, I think we're putting the... We're taking the top off the Jeep. Today. He's got the garage all cleaned out, took everything out of there, so he can get his top in there and get that hoisted up. Grass is growing over there. Yeah. It's weird. I know it's weird for you guys. It's weird for us as well. But... Yeah, it is what it is. We took a couple days and didn't pull out the camera. Look, the diggler! We took a couple days and didn't pull out the camera every day. This scooter, I'm keeping. This blue one, this is the non-motorized one. The motorized one, technically, I guess it's called a sprocket scooter. This one, Jamie's gonna take apart and we're gonna get rid of most of the stuff. The battery on it has given us issues twice. I think he's gonna save the motor on it and then we're gonna recycle the metal on it, because that scooter, it's just gotta go. I like that one better. I know it doesn't have a motor in it, but I have a scooter with a motor in it. So... Oh, there's the other Apis bike. That's a nice bike too. I actually put an affiliate link for the Apis stuff down below. This company has been amazing to us. Absolutely amazing. We just did that blue bike with them a couple days ago. Love it. Amazing people. They've been so kind with everything that's been going on. Uh-oh. Are you in there? She's in the garage. We still gotta take that wood out to Greg's and get it split too, at some point in time. What are you doing in here? I know, there might be critters. There might be. Singing Halloween guy. And he has seen better days. A lot of the lights are broken. We haven't had him out in the past few years. Maybe we bring him back to life this year. Maybe. What you think? That's our old pergola and our old A-frame that we built. Jamie kept some of the wood from it because there was nothing wrong with the wood. Same thing with the pergola. He kept the wood so we could use it for other things. You guys don't see in this garage very often. Only when Jamie lifts this top of his Jeep up there. Come on. Get out of here. Come on. I know, there's critters in here. Part of the goal this year is also to seal off the holes. So the squirrels stop getting into this garage. We'll see. Come on. Get out of here. Woo! Just like that, it's been transformed. Transformation! Look, the wood. We were gonna take this out to Greg's and have him split it. But he's building a house now and his splitter has been taken off his tractor. So Jamie's gonna stack it and let it dry. And then maybe, probably by fall you think? Be able to split it? Yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah, even that's going in it better than it was. And that's squirting water out everywhere. So this is where he tried to split it. And it squirted water everywhere. So we'll probably still hand split this tree at some point in time. It needs to be sunny and not rainy today so we can take the dogs. Looks like it's gonna rain, hun. Maybe. Maybe not. We will see. Things that will break your soul. So Pets Naturally, their dog bakery over in Traverse City. I took Memphis over there the last time we went for physical therapy. And I was talking to them on Facebook and they wanted to send a gift package. Which they sent shortly after we found out Memphis was having surgery. But regardless, if you guys are looking for adorable... This is not sponsored. This was a gift from them. And they told me I could do whatever I wanted with it. But I thought I would at least show you how cute they are. Look at how cute it is. I'm gonna have to let the dogs give them a try. Because these are absolutely adorable. I also wanted to show these to you guys. These were actually sent to us by Makeship. Makeship is the company that made the last few plushies that we did. And we were already in the works of making another one. Like early, early stages. Let me know if that's something you guys are still interested in. This was really nice of them though. That they sent us a beautiful bouquet of flowers. How you doing? Huh? Yeah? The other two girls have been taking turns laying on this cooling mat. I kept the other cooling mat out in there. I didn't think that they would like it. But they sure seem to. I guess it's gonna stay. Jamie and I were making jokes that we can pick up all the rugs. But I guess they're gonna stay too. Because I don't know why. But at least for now, we're not moving anything. Say no, not yet. Not yet. The dogs are doing good though. We took them for a four and a half mile walk last night. Didn't film anything. The longest walk we've done in a very long time. And we got rained on at the end. It was kind of fun. I feel like today is the day of updates. Since I haven't vlogged in a couple of days. These we had in the works before Memphis passed away. So we wanted to finish them up. We did some red, white and blue. Little cookie dragons. There's a tiny dragon. There's a baby dragon. And then there's this really cool adult dragon. Which has little horns. Have a little bit of blue in them. Which wasn't intentional. But they turned out really cool. And also, the first three sets of the dogs. The 2.0 version is now available. So the updated Eleanor is now available. I think I'm gonna list some of these just as is. In case you guys want to update your set of three that you have. So you can get just this one if you want. If you have the other three. But this is the updated one. There's some more stuff that we were doing. These are so cute. I love these. I'm keeping one of each of these. I love them. Oh! The biggest yawn ever! Hey! Hey hun! Your dogs are upset. I know. Kira's like, dad you has hoes. And I's not playing with hoes. I need hoes. It's almost a little too warm to put them in your Jeep and go for a ride today. Maybe later this evening. If the clouds are out. It's nice in the shade. You can have a breeze going. Very tolerable. Maybe after dinner. Yeah. Maybe. Cause I don't know if we'll be walking them in this humidity either. It's humid today. What? Would you like... Would you like a wonderful distraction as well? Us two. Dad's fixing Memphis' pool. Which will forever and always be called Memphis' pool. I don't care what anybody says. And then I got Kira's safety nozzle. Kira's safety nozzle. If you guys don't know, Kira likes to bite the end of the hose. And we're always afraid she's gonna break her teeth. Yep. Can I let her in? She's gonna go for it. Yeah. Alright. Here we go. Are you gonna jump in and the other one's gonna go straight for the... For the hose? Okay, here we go. One, two. Woo! Both of them straight for the baby pool. And Kira goes straight for the hose. She's like, wait, that's not fun. Yeah, no running. You can get on there if you want. Kira's like, wait, there's a hose in here and there's water coming out of it, but it's not coming out fast. Oh yeah, otherwise they'll be sailing away. Sailing away. Yeah, there you go. And then if one jumps on... I mean, we're probably both gonna get in anyway because it is 84 degrees outside. What you got, Kira? What you got? You can't just drink all the water out of the hose. You can't. You can't just drink it all out of the hose. She's like, wait a minute. Wait a gosh darn minute. Yeah, you gotta let it fill up. You have to let it fill up a little bit more. She's like, I don't think I do. Kira's in. Hi. She's like, all right, I'm sailing. She's like, well, if I play my cards right, I'm gonna sail to the other side of the pool and then get off over there so I can be on the other side of the gate. She did get in all by herself. Right onto the float. She's like, not yet dad, not yet. I just kind of want to play on a floaty and debate on making this dangerous leap. Please don't make that dangerous leap. And Eleanor's over here playing with her new set of squishy balls. You got another new set of squishy balls. These ones don't have magnets in them. They're kind of cool. You getting in now? She's like, I know I didn't get to run around and get hot enough yet. Bye Kira. See you later. Have good mosh pitting. She's just floating away. I should have kept filming. Jamie's bumping her boat. So she's gotta stay in the middle of the pool. Are you gonna get in? She's like, I should turn the hose back on now so I can fill this pool while Kira's in there. You gonna get in now? What if? Look, check it out. I gotta make sure there's no water in it so that it will float for you. Alright El, new squishy ball. New one. Can you go save it? Will it sink? Yes Jamie, it will sink. Oh no! No, I didn't fill it full of water. It was empty. It filled itself full of water. When it hit, it filled with water. Yeah, it does and they go right down. Here you go El. I'll throw it right there. Cause it's gonna fill with water. Dad told me so. Can you do it? I don't know if jumping to that is a good idea. You might make it from there. But I don't know if that's it. You're gonna miss. You do whatever you wanna do. I'm just gonna keep filming you. Cause if you really think you're gonna make the leap to that, that would be pretty funny. Yes! This is mine. You got it? Now, where you gonna go with it? She's like, I haven't decided yet. I'm gonna chew on it. If it falls in the water like that, it's gonna sink. Oh no! It sank that time. She popped the top of it open. She's like, that's okay. I'm gonna balance her on this. Go in some circles. It has a good time. Don't jump from there. Nobody's there to hold the thing. Oh, dad's getting in. It's warm in the sun. Holy cow, it's warm in the sun. You wanna get in Kira? The ball went under. It's underneath your feet. It's right there. It's blue, so it's hard to see. But it's cold down there. Hopefully you can pick it up with your toes. There it is El! There's your ball! Fill it up with water and she'll catch it. Throw it! Catch it! She's like, hold on, I gotta make my round. Gotta make my circle. Now catch it! Catch it El! Yeah! Good catch! That's what she wants to do. See if she drops it lightly and the sides of it close, it won't sink. Yeah! Good girl! Not warm enough for you to swim today, but it's warm enough for you to balance on your floaty. Yeah, there's squishy balls in my floaty. It's pretty great. Oh no! Don't let it sink. Don't stand on that. You will regret it. I thought she was gonna do it. It's trying to give you a push. You're stuck out there now. You're up. Gotta eat the helicopter. What are you doing? Just sailing away guys. Just sailing away. It's like she knows. She knew like 10 minutes ago. She did. Let's get ready to go for a ride. I think they are confused as to what's going on. They know something is going on, but they're like, which one? This one? Oh, that one? Oh, this one? You're in! Kira's already got her head out. Oh yeah! Don't forget the water. Because it's too funny not to show you. Hey look! Rocks! Actually, when we were camping in the UP, we found this left on the side of the road. We went down to the beach and went rock picking and left it there. There was this and an empty bottle of water. Instead of just leaving it there, we did end up picking it up. It was really dirty. I don't think anybody was coming back for it. You haven't been in here in a while. That's not true. You were in here while we were camping. Okay, you haven't been in here with the top off for a while. So weird. Memphis would usually sit right there. There's definitely some Memphis furs in here. I know. I know. Everything is different. You guys will probably hear me say it a lot through the next few vlogs and that's okay. That's okay. We got to process, right Kira? We have to process everything we're going through. How are you shedding this bad again? I just blowed your coat out before we left for camping. Look at this. Ridiculous. I don't know if you guys can tell. We just left our house and if you look way up there, it's all foggy. Cameraman's gotta pick it up, right? A little bit. Camera usually shows through it though. A little bit. Way up there. It's foggy. I can't see it. Alright, we'll see how this goes. Kira's happy. Got her head out. Hi Kira. Eleanor's out the other side. Pull! There you go. Good girl. That is so weird. Do you see that kid way out there in the fog? There's a people way out there in the fog. That's kind of creepy. Like a ghost. Holy cow. Yeah, it's not foggy at our house but as soon as you get close to the water you can see it through here. It's foggy. Eleanor! What are you doing? Can we get to go in that water? Not today sweetheart. Not today. Miss Kira. This is nuts, hun. There's land over there. No. It's just straight fog. We're probably gonna get that dense... Hi Kira. That dense fog warning again. I was looking this way. The flag. Look at the flag. It's just like in the fog. It does look cool. Yeah. It's definitely froggy. It's pretty froggy out. There they are. He's looking at everything, huh? Oh my gosh, this is just as good as a walk. You get all the smells and all the sights. What do you think is happening here? Do you see that dad has Taco Bell? Do you know what Taco Bell means? They both look at you. They're like do you have my food? Are you waiting for... You can't eat it through the paper. No, you can't eat it through paper. No, you can't eat it through the paper. Are you waiting for this cheesem roll up? Yeah? I understand that you would really, really like that cheesem roll up, but it's still in paper. Ma'am, it's still... Ma'am, it's still in the paper. Apparently, Eleanor wants it more than Kira. Kira's like, maybe I'll try to open it myself. Maybe I also would try to open it myself. I will open it for you. Dad's got your bag there. There you go. You did it. You got it. Then you got it. There. Good job. Good job. It's still foggy. We can't see the lake. We went and got a little something to eat. Got the dogs a snack. And now I guess, you know, we went for a ride because it was sunny at our house. And it's just foggy everywhere else in town. Makes me wonder if we get a little bit away from the bay, if it'll clear up. If it gets a little less foggy? I guess we'll find out. We, what, got a mile away from the lake and it's sunny again? Yeah. We rarely see this, huh? No fog over here! That's so funny. There's no fog here. Like, you can't even tell that it would be foggy. Yeah, it's a little cloudy, but it was cloudy when we left. The fog might still roll all the way in here. We do live about, I think it's like a mile and a half from the lake shore. So that could be why. That was just funny. We left because it was nice and sunny out and then it got really foggy. I will say though, the humidity has broke. It was 85 and ridiculously humid today. That's my solar light that I gotta do a review on. Oh, I should show you guys this too. I have to remember who got me those. I think I remember who it was. Mike... They're from somewhere in Michigan. But I gotta find somebody that can make me another one of those. But anyway, I found this at Aldi yesterday and it also lights up with the solar light, so I got it for the Memphis. Let me put it out here. A little butterfly. You guys don't know, butterflies and dragonflies are like my favorite I guess, what do you call them? Insects? There's a dragonfly there. They're my favorites. So I saw that and I said, I'm gonna get that. And I did. And then this is something we're doing over on the review channel. It's a little solar light with a cardinal on it. I thought it was cute. So, yeah. Yeah, so weird. You would not even know it was foggy. Weird. Oh, and Jamie took this all apart and got it all cleaned up for the season as well. So, maybe when I bring the cooking channel back, maybe I'll show you guys how to make some fun stuff on the Blackstone. Bringing the cooking channel back is gonna be hard because you know, you're sorry, but you're not being promoted to best kitchen helper ever until you figure out how to be the best kitchen helper ever. I don't think you girls are gonna see any bunnies or kitties with it being this dark. I'm just saying. Might see a turtle. It's a tortoise. It's a turtle. It's a turtle. I just made a diorama. Sorry. It's behind this house. But we saw it. I don't want to shine lights on people's houses, but he's over there. You saw it. I don't know if you saw it, but you saw it. I'm turning the bright flashlight off. Yeah, there you go. Yours is bright too though. She's like, but there was a bunny and we saw it. Good job girls. Good job.
