Bushwaller's Irish Pub Gears Up For Watch Party Crowds

The World Cup excitement building before tonight's game between the U.S. and Belgium fans packing watch parties across the region. It is early, as we saw with Regina Irita. Let's go out to Fox 5. Cesar Cornejo is live in Frederick at Bushwaller's Irish Pub. We're waiting for the crowds there as well, but they're getting ready. They're ready for it tonight, Cesar. Jim, Marina, they certainly are, and what better way to, of course, watch a football match besides sitting down at the Irish Pub, having yourself a pint of Guinness, and rooting for the good U.S. All-A, right? But, hey, one thing that we do have to do is, of course, introduce Jimmy Reamer. Jimmy, thank you for being so hospitable here and being just such a great host. We've been here for a little bit, you know, hanging out, getting the vibe of the bar. But tell us, what makes Bushwaller's great to watch the World Cup? You know, Cesar, we've been here for 45 years, and we've been a soccer bar for the longest time. And, you know, last Wednesday, we were at Capacity, and we're gearing up for Capacity tonight. So it's going to be fantastic here at Bushwaller's. I can only imagine, especially given the fact that, you know, it's such a big game. Every game is now do-or-die for the U.S., so not only does it come out and enjoy, but also come out and support your favorite bar to make sure that they keep showing the games as well. What specials do you guys continue to have going on for the World Cup, and just how packed has it also been? Our specials are going to be a lot of Maryland stuff tonight. So we're having, like, 250 Maryland Natty Bow on draft, and then we've got our Maryland whiskeys, Maryland beers and stuff, and then, of course, we've got the best fish and chips in town, I think. So we've got a lot geared up for it tonight, and, again, it'll be Capacity. It's going to be a great time. Awesome. So, of course, still got a little bit of space right now. Do you suggest people start getting in here by about 7 o'clock, make sure that they can sit down and enjoy, of course, the game? 7 o'clock to 7.30 will be getting towards the end of the tables. By 8 o'clock, it'll be standing room only kind of thing. You know what? I think most people won't be too upset about that.
