Well, today's been a one day, a very seasonal day. The high temperature as
of right now has been at 83 the average at 84. So very seasonal afternoon for
us here. Sunset at 9 11. So it's still late, but we are definitely shaving off
hours of daylight throughout the month of july. Currently in the eighties
right now, across a good portion of southeast michigan, there are a few 70
sprinkled in there, 82 in Pontiac, 79 degrees in hell right now, low eighties
in the city of Detroit. Now we do have a few light showers out there for some
locations, some heavier stuff out near say southwestern portions of Livingston
County now exiting Manchester and heading over into one away county
that's going to continue to track away from the city. So for most of us,
especially north of the city for tonight should be looking at a pretty
quiet night. There might be an additional isolated shower that
develops, but I think for most of us we are staying dry and quiet through the
rest of this evening. Now our temperatures through tonight will be
falling through the seventies and eventually I think we bottom out in the
upper sixties. Our humidity levels, they'll also drop as we head through
the overnight. We're actually looking at a pretty comfortable weekend,
although our temperatures are reflecting a warm, if not toasty weekend
will be in the upper eighties saturday upper eighties on sunday and then
we're back to the nineties as we head into next week. So it's going to be a
second heat wave for us in the span of like four weeks. So we are certainly
getting our fair share of heat this summer season. Now in terms of humidity
levels, not bad this weekend. In fact, it looks actually pretty comfortable
saturday and sunday. And then as we head through early next week, it starts
to inch up with every passing day. And I think by Wednesday we're going to
really feel that humidity alongside the heat because it's really not going
anywhere over the course of the next, say, 5-6 days. A good chunk of the
country, with the exception up near Maine, looking at this very hot air
situating itself over pretty much all of the 50 states as we head into the
next couple of days. Now, in terms of rain, there really isn't a whole lot
going on. It looks quiet as we head through about, say, Wednesday and then
towards the later part of the week, we might be factoring in an isolated
shower. But for right now, I'm gonna keep the entire extended forecast dry.
Daytime highs will be in the nineties next week. We see a little bit of
relief by friday with highs in the upper eighties.
