Bryson DeChambeau's response to Tom Lehman saying LIV Golfer's who want to play PGA Tour go to Korn Ferry or Q School
Jul 14, 2026
I talked to Tom Lehman last week and he had mentioned that he's a big fan of yours, but
he said if he was in the player's shoes, he would feel that somebody coming back, you
or any of the players, they'd have to go to Kornfair, they'd have to go on QSchool.
How would you kind of react to that?
Yeah, I don't know.
I mean, everybody has their opinion and I respect his opinion.
I think that there's other options for me and look, is it valuable?
Yeah.
Are we working to build a product out here?
Hopefully we can.
Everybody thinks it's going away just right away and, you know, I don't know.
I don't know about that.
I think there's opportunity for team golf and look, I hope that people understand, especially
given that, you know, some of us players have exemptions that are still outstanding, that
I think, you know, Tom has a perspective that, look, if somebody doesn't have tour membership
or has had tour membership or has exemption status, then yeah, like I think there's routes
to get back on the tour if they want to do that.
For players that do have exemptions, I think it's fair that we utilize those exemptions.
And then I think, you know, for me, it's really about how can I help impact the game in the
most positive way.
Whether you believe that I'm doing that or not, that's just what I want to do.
Overall goal for you going forward?
Say again?
Sorry.
It's your overall goal for you going forward?
Yeah, yeah.
100%.
I mean, everybody has their viewpoint of, you know, should I be playing tour golf?
I should be playing tour golf.
I should be doing this.
I should be doing that.
It's like, you know, yeah, but it's also what I want to do, what I care about, what I enjoy,
right?
Everybody can tell me what I want to do, but I think it matters what, you know, also makes
me happy.
